I tried to sneak in a tiny bit more healing for one of my runs because I got a REALLY unlucky start while the AI had a perfect hand which left me badly hurt, the AI then proceeded to deck itself out intentionally instead of letting me get my healing off.
Its actually possible, you need a 2 cost champion (samira), equip the turret plating which gives your Nexus tough, if you now dont start with the attack token you are good, alternatively you get the power which summons a 2 cost unit at game start and remove other 2 cost as soon as possible. Unlikely to work but possible :)
18:18 the AI doesn't block this because you still have the attack token and a big overwhelm unit. the AI knows it's pointless to block. it will always do this if it knows you have lethal. EDIT: best way to do this would be to pass the attack round and play Gwen when they have the attack token.
I really hope Snnuy tries one day to S rank Aurelion with just his 1* Gwen. Can confirm it's possible, since I did it with 0 stars TWICE. Or a simpler challenge like S rank Aurelion with Veigar - No, really. That's it. Veigar is surprisingly slow given Aurelion levels up Round 3 or 4. . S rank means defeating last champion with 30+hp
You would think that a burst speed darkness EVERY turn would be insane, but you really cant win unless you have viegar leveled and hoping that the enemy wont crush you yet at that point
I don't like the Aurelion Sols design in PoC for that reason exactly. Rush down strategies have a way easier time dealing with A Sol, unlike slower decks. I wish A Sol threatened you not by the insane tempo that he gets, but with insane sustain and huge trouble in the late game. That way, both fast and slow decks would have equal chances at dealing with him.
the real difficulty of PoC comes from lack of levels. Nidalee being able to equip items like the nexus has tough and the various items on your cards helps a ton.
Such a shame he didn't try to finish Piltover & Zaun 1.5 star adventure. Ezreal tends to not let you finish him at full hp. My personal idea to deal with this would be to play 3star Gwen with 2 items: 1 that gives her "Level up: Rally" and 1 that gives her "Skills and Spells do 1 more damage", because that usually means you get get to heal to full when you get to attack with her while killing opponent with her skill.
For the fight that mills itself, I've had them mill themselves while I had a lifesteal unit attacking to deny me the heal. I was waiting for that to happen here.
5:45 the striking one is the definite best answer here for the challenge. You can make a case for all of them. But the strike is technically a 3/3 and cleaver is a 5/5. Refilling mana is just a win more. The instant heal 2 probably heal 4 or more is sick
next time try put gnar in the deck!! the transform synergy is really cool. also, just run quicksand for kai sa matchup. it counters her pretty well and is also a shuriman card (like nidalee)!
I am *convinced* the AI knows what keyword Kai'sa's minions get when attacking, the sheer ammount of times the rock hopper gets quick attack just as they attack is mind boggling
My favorite power with Nidalee so far is the one that copies any spell you cast on an ally on your weakest ally. Random 5 drops on turn 1 is a very decent game start.
As PoC player there are some consistent behaviors from the AI you can exploit, which in this case played against you. If I recall correctly, when you perform a free attack on the opponent and you still have the attack token the AI won't block even if it would kill them. In the very rare cases that you wanna be blocked on the free attack you should first spend your attack token and then use the free attack. It's like the AI says "Oh this guy still has the attack token, I'm going to let the first attack go through and block the second one since it's going to use the most units".
AI has a tendency to lower player's health at any cost even, if it is losing. I think it has to do with the ranking system at the end of the run, because you get less XP points for a lesser rank. Riot, explain!
the version he ends up playing of "end with full health" is legit how I've always tried to play path of champions :'D though I don't reset it if I fail haha

The AI doesn't need to win a specific fight, as long as it can chip you. Well, or it's about time saving for people who aren't doing a nutty "leave every fight at full hp" run while not just using 3-star Gwen.
I mean, the changed rules are basically what one should do in every PoC adventure if they have the ability to. Health carries over, so healing is important. Plus, ending on full health gives that sweet, golden, magnificent S rank and you have to be a fool to not want it. Although it doesn't do anything, really.
I was watching this while playing PoC myself. My mind got completely melted and I started getting annoyed when my nexus got damaged, I needed to take a second each time and tell myself that it's not me that is doing the challenge.🙃
I was playing Kaisa run with Nidalee today. She destroyed Me with 3copies of Kaisa, when i was 1off potential lethal... They upgrade ai a bit and its harder now. Almost impossible before lv8-10 2stars
Stun is good on this map but you need to buy cards vs irelia. Go storage/gauntlet (epic items), removal/silence/ barrier or build more hp. If you play longer game you need sth to counter elusives. 26:10 good choice.
The only real challenge in PoC is to beat adventures with 2.5 and more stars without giving the champion more than a single star. Don't switch out the champ, instead try to go for the hardest adventure you can win.
I love path of champions but it’s so hard to unlock other champions and level up champions without spending money. Too champion essence and wild essence

11:05 stuns doesnt even help with irelia because when they blade dance, they will put the strongest ally to attack with the blades
