Overall,i'd say its pretty good. There is not much difference between this and Poco X3,only there being that the Poco X3 has a 120hz screen and 100 mAh more than this (insignificant).
Note 9 Pro = slightly better camera Realme 6 Pro = 90Hz refresh rate For me the difference between the cameras are too little to point out. But the 90Hz refresh rate of the screen does make a difference in daily life. Runs super smooth and once you used to it, the 60hz screens look outdated. So I would suggest the Realme 6 Pro.
My opinions, but I am kinda like Note 9 Pro more. 90hz is great if you're gaming and stuff, but it's not super vital for me (I always game on 60hz on my PC anyway)... 60Hz isn't as smooth as 90hz, but I prefer the little extra battery life it brings. Plus, I'm a huge fan of the Note 9 Pro, the main camera performance is better and improved compared to its older Note 8 Pro, and the video recording is extremely steady too. The Pro/Manual is available for photo and its video mode too! For someone who loves cameras, this is great. So it's about your preference on which phone to get, I guess.
As I have used the Redmi Note 9 Pro for a week now, it is quite smooth and slick but keep in mind that the LCD display has a bit of shadowing around the borders. Just keep an eye out for that as it can be a turn off for some people.

Sweet review 👍 Owned mine for two days now and loving it. Came from the Redmi 8 Pro.. and this thing feels like a tank by comparison but getting used to it! My unit has that 'don't cover the earphone' bug too.. but I notice we're only running Miui 11.0.1 - which is the software version my Redmi Note 8 Pro was running before Xmas. Strange. It should get a cheeky incremental upgrade though soon to sort things out before Miui 12 arrives. Two things - it has Bluetooth 5.1 and not 5.0.. and it has the Gw1 sensor as I think you said Gw2 or something. I don't give a crap about these details but someone else might! Cheers again for the cracking review 👍

I'm way more curious for the Honor X10 Pro (sadly not an option since there's no NFC). I believe that due to current market we will see a lot of mid range devices coming out with better cameras. People still want good cameras, but not by spending 1000 euros in a new phone.
Hey Techspurt..I hope you have time to answer this...I playd a few games in Pubg with my note 9 pro with a good pair of headphones, the sound was amazing, more bass and great stereo but a few weeks later it disappeared. My sound is now back to usual and I don't know whether I've uninstalled an important sound app or something but I'd love to have it back as it was..I tried reinstalling the factory apps but no luck
@@geesonrob people who don't own this phone do not know that, that's why I mentioned it. And the app drawer doesn't exist on my note 9s either that's why all the forums recommend you download the Poco launcher, it's great and hardly a difference from the stock launcher.
No app drawer?! It probably won't loop the home screens either. Does it have a headphone jack? Dark Mode? Able to remove that blasted search bar from the home screen?
Something that would have been great to see is a comparison between previous flagship smartphones like 2018 models comparing it with todays budget alternatives as well as midranger. And why not slap in some of todays best cameras for contrast.
Thank you sir. I would like this as my next phone. After realizing that I hardly use my own phone for anything other than photography, this is precisely what I could have a nice upgrade of especially thanks to the massive battery length. I more need the additional video resolution above everything else because I need that to experiment with on a manual camera app I found that has even more and better features than the preinstalled camera. @@alwaystravelling100 I love this phone. Not sure if I'd change it for any other at the moment. This 9s has had great performance and battery life for the price
I've using the Redmi Note 9 Pro for over 2 months now and it's great, the battery is great, the performance is great. No issues
This guy has a great personality for reviews! Just subscribed 😁
What's Xiaomi's Android upgrade policy? My redmi note 7 never got past Android 9
thanks bro, I ended up buying this today. loved your reviews
How is the fingerprint sensor?
maybe this sounds wired but i love this phone more then my iphone 11 pro max
Weird......with the capability to use wired headphones and earphones.....and to connect to an old school car with an auxiliary input...🧐
great review! I just bought one of the offical site for 119.99 in the flash sale
im still watching this from my xiaomi mi3 :')
LOL mi a1 here and dont know what to do :( whre is them Xiami onadroid ones ? om going nokia it seems
Hi can i know is the phone that heavy?
@@idkyum5292 I'll be honest - it does feel a bit heavy compared to the RN8 Pro I had before. But I know that having the extra screen space and battery is worth it
Still happy??? I'm looking to get one. I need 2 sims and a dedicated SD Card slot. Not sure what better options than this are around for sub US$350
@@alwaystravelling100 I wouldn't get one now personally with the Redmi Note 10 around the corner.. with 90/120 Hz screen and 5g for a similar price.
The Poco X3 might even fit your criteria
When they design a phone I can see in Sunlight!
Is it better under sunlight?
Heyyyy you Mr. TH-camr!!!
I like how you upload very often and how u keep your subscribers up to date on a wide range of smartphones... u consider everyone by your choice of reviews and comparison videos... good work bro.
Keep it up👌🔥
Great review mate, thanks. Getting my Note 9 Pro tomorrow :)
Well how is it?
Have you seen the teasers for the new two devices from htc? Excited! Even my P40 pro could be in the danger zone here😊😉
Those were some great photos, you have a good eye for that stuff!
Would you recommend this over redmi note 8 Pro?
There is the option to toggle the app drawer. It's just off by default, alternatively, you can download the Poco launcher 2.0 for the app drawer and more customizability.
Is this phone compatible with UK network providers? Also can I use google play store apps. Thanks
Like the look of the Redmi note 9 pro. But ive heard Miui is plagued with adverts everywhere you look, is this the case here?
Has MUI 12 update arrived now and fixed the issues?
Love your reviewd. Keep it going
6:19 how do you display the decimal for the battery percentage while charging it like that
it pops up when you charge the phone while the phone is off.
@@saulman12 no, meaning with the decimal.
@Adam Johnston I have MIUI 11, it may be a MIUI 12 thing but not sure
@@jangojames812 you'd rather get the later POCO X3
@Chip McGuire talking about the Mi 10T Lite?
who is best xiaomi redmi note 9 pro or oppo reno 2z ? because oppo reno 2z have 8gb ram can response tech?
My: I AM NOT BORED
My bro: I AM SO BORED
U ARE SO FAN
Well it felt satisfying watching this from my Redmi Note 9 Pro
That flex tho
@@jmbaltazar7899 XD I got the redmi note 9 pro last week...it's a beast 🔥
Love Techspert and Recombu, much appreciated man, great review, was gonna take the galaxy a52 but this phone just seems like the better option 😊👍
Great review this phone is incredible value for money and will likely be one of the best selling phones of the year just like the Note 8 Pro was last year.
sir... hoping youll notice. MIUI 11 has an appdrawer setting that you should manually turn on from the homescreen. Please explore more before doing a FULL review so that therell be no misconceptions. Thankyou. btw u did great of a review!
Ya thanks for reviewing alot of budget phones, love ❤ u.
I'm gonna get this as my secondary phone. Seems like "Bang for buck"
Did you? And, thoughts? I'm looking to get one. I need 2 sims and a dedicated SD Card slot. Not sure what better options than this are around for sub US$350
Do you have to use fingerprint unlock on it??? There is no way I'm letting the NSA have my prints.
@@jhowardsupporter Did u watch the review?
@@TheFourthWinchester That? Don't get it. It has ads all over the phone. Just search Xiaomi ads and you'll see. Get a Samsung or something.
I have it and it's good so far no ads. Plays pub g with no lag.
There is an app tray.... All you have to do is go to settings and type swipe up then press the first thing and you will find an app draw...
any news on the wifi issues ?
Where do I get a nice phone case for it? I’m finding it hard to find a nice one
not sure where youre from but ive been looking on ebay! also not sure how much defense theyll give your phone either but ive seen a couple cute ones on there
Juliet Patrick Tysm!! I’m from Ireland btw
Just a question, Does the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro support wireless charging?
Picked one up on Amazon.. got the 128GB version in white for £216 😎👍
Happy? I need 2 sims and a dedicated SD Card slot. Not sure what better options than this are around!!??
@@alwaystravelling100 yup, no issues to speak of, performance is comparable with my old S9 and the battery is amazing.
From your review, which one seemed best: this one or the Mi 10T lite? Thanks
Would you get this over the Realme 6 or 6 Pro? Seems pretty close on specs but the Realme comes with that 90hz refresh rate
Class review. Got one recently, massive upgrade from my Huawei P Smart
Got the p smart 2019 as my current phone is it a huge jump in performance?
2:30 watching the video from an iPhone 7 😅. I am thinking to grab one of these little beasts
L M m2
Must really be careful with your screen then pog
I'm way more curious for the Honor X10 Pro (sadly not an option since there's no NFC). I believe that due to current market we will see a lot of mid range devices coming out with better cameras. People still want good cameras, but not by spending 1000 euros in a new phone.
Did you use any icon skins?
Hey Techspurt..I hope you have time to answer this...I playd a few games in Pubg with my note 9 pro with a good pair of headphones, the sound was amazing, more bass and great stereo but a few weeks later it disappeared. My sound is now back to usual and I don't know whether I've uninstalled an important sound app or something but I'd love to have it back as it was..I tried reinstalling the factory apps but no luck
Review madness a love it ❤️
Whit a bit of rap 😂

Love this phone, using on at&t and working just fine.
Phone is completely solid and they have updated the drop in wifi connection issue.
Yeah, we all know that, but it doesn't exist in the current Redmi Note 9 Pro software. I have the phone on my hands and the app drawer is not here.
Great review bro . love the wallpaper
Something that would have been great to see is a comparison between previous flagship smartphones like 2018 models comparing it with todays budget alternatives as well as midranger. And why not slap in some of todays best cameras for contrast.
Is this mobile a USB Video Device Class (UVC) compliant?
Since you have tried the realme 6 pro and this phone which one would u say is better?
It's a close call - I prefer the camera on this one, but the Realme has that 90Hz screen...full comparison video should be live early next week ;)
@@TechSpurt thank you. Looking forward to the video
I am aiming to get the 64GB version just incase of this, however the 6 inched screen doesn't really bother me. I thank you once more. Have a good one! I just gave your video a like.
there's a app drawer mode in the home sceen setting man, stop complaining before checking
Sir would you recommend this phone (still selling here for 200 euros) versus the Note 10 5G, which would be 150 euros in my case if I decide to get it.
Sir, what is Redmi Note 9 Pro with Realme 6 Pro which is good for gaming performance and navigation sensors for working as an online driver. please reply . thank you
