The Highland Towers collapse was an apartment building collapse that occurred on 11 December 1993 in Taman Hillview, Ulu Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. The collapse of Block One of the apartments caused the deaths of 48 people and led to the complete evacuation of the other two blocks due to safety concerns. On 11 December 2010, in collaboration with the seventeenth anniversary of the incident, AETN's History Channel showed an hour-long documentary on the tragedy, with accounts from the victims, their families and former residents.

sedih bila tgk sejarah tragedi higland tower ni. kisah ni brlaku msa aku umur 4 tahun. kecik lagi dan x tau apa2. and seriously, aku tak pernah tahu pasal bencana ni smpaila filem highland tower ditayangkan (belum tgk lagi). mungkin sbab aku kurang ambik tahu. dan sekarang bila aku tgk video ni, terasa nk menitis air mata. This is so sad. It was a disaster for the country. Condolences to the families involved. Fortunately, there's this documentary for us to learn with. I'm sad. I was small when this occurred. The residence were mostly high profile individuals based on their profressions.

we did tho🤔 they trained the rescue teams more after this tragedy. Now theyve gotten better that we were even able to assist people in other nation that are in need of help, like the 2023 turkiye earthquake

Surprisingly, this place is quite near to my grandparents' house, making it quite easy to see this very abandoned building from far view. There was a school a few KM away from the building (if I'm not mistaken) and I would be curious about the deserted building that was no longer declared as home. With the 2 remaining towers abandoned, surely there will be lost souls that scours the grounds.
