- Hello
I don't have too much to say about this one. I've been on two different trips, and I also had to swap out my audio interface, between starting work on this session, and actually filming the playthrough. I basically worked on this whenever I had the time. I was almost forgetting about this, and started working on the next thing, so I figured now would be a good time to shoot a playthrough for it. For the next track I'll be using the Jaguar again. I recently set that up for C# standard, and I'm having a lot of fun with it again. If that's the next thing that goes up here or not we'll have to wait and see.
The mix for this one was kind of a struggle, it turned out a little brighter than maybe ideal. It was also unusually hard to get the typical loudness that I normally go for. I do like the riffs though, I've also noticed it seems to be getting easier for me to write longer arrangements with more ideas in them, compared to the stuff I'd make last year.
That's about it.
Gear and stuff:
SubZero Paradigm Baritone
Ibanez SR605
GGD PV (+ PIV for the additional ride/bell)
Neural DSP Fortin Nameless X, and Darkglass Suite - เพลง

This is tight
Wow man this sounds great! This a really inspiring riff and cool tone, Wasn't sure if I wanted this amp sim or not but now I do for sure.
ayy this sounds pretty good, keep it up! :D
hell yeah, this is awesome
I would listen to this
Man im so glad this graced my algorithm
So sick
nice! ive been eyeing those subzero models for a while now, how would you rate them?
I really like it! The fretwork isn't the best. I'm running high action and I still have fretbuzz in a few places, that is totally fixable though. The neck profile is really nice, it's thin-ish without being too thin for me. This is typically an issue for me with modern guitars, so I'm really happy with that. I'm still using the stock pickups as well, I think they sound great, but I'll let you be the judge of that. The guitar is far from perfect, but it really delivers in the ways that matter to me. I'd give it a 7/10 I think. Do you have any other guitars you've been looking into?
@@Sjur_sm57 maybe the fret buzz can be alleviated with an intonation and all that. yeah looks pretty nice, ill definitely keep that in mind.
as for other guitars im looking at, Solar is really interesting me. particularly the A models.
@Sjur_sm57 Are you running high action because of fret buzz, or personal preference. If it's personal preference, why?
Er du fra Norge?:)
