The amount of times I lost this quest because of a lucky crit is stupid
Yeah same for me had to save scum cheese and command spell on jeanne
I had a Stupid run where my 10% Crit land on the Trash Mob that have Death effect.
That's why crit down debuffs and evade are very, very useful, the former often overlooked. Cu Alter really shines on this one.

the game didn't "glitch", she was coded that if she procs guts, to keep going, unless its the last unit.
same thing happened to me with leonidas, mash, and others.
They did this intentionally to stop users from "buying turns" that easily, since its basically a timebomb race.
And to be fair.... it took me 5 hours and a half to finish this, with multiple tries.
It's not that she specifically is coded this way, its how all guts works, though it is likely for the reason you said (if it always stopped the enemy you could stall infinitely, and if it always didn't it would be useless because it would basically just be a shittier 1 hit evade)
It forces a 'target change' when guts procs. You will never see a guts target get hit twice in a row. If there are no valid targets, they won't get attacked again. If there are, the enemy is free to continue attacking, including the guts target after the initial swap. (So like, if target 1 has guts, enemy hits target 1 forcing the proc, is then forced to target 2 or 3 for their second turn, and then for their final turn they are allowed to target all 3 again)
@@tcaz This very video shows George, the guts target, get hit twice in a row. It's in Solo situations that the enemy stops attacking when your last Servant's guts triggers.
@@tcaz not true. A taunted servant with guts can still end the turn. But only if it dies in the first action. If it’s the second action, (say it takes 2 hits to kill or she uses a skill before attacking) then the turn doesn’t end and she will keep attacking the taunt target even afyer guts procs.
Never gonna deny that the mhxa cq is definitely the hardest cq I've encountered atm to the point I only won by the power of Shining Draw via getting a particular Servant's cards EXACTLY when I need them. All those times playing card games rubs off it's luck to fgo as well.

Guts doesn't stop the turn from going if you have a team which is why you see hercules able to get 5 turns in by himself when someone uses an np.
Which shows how George died but he ate the extra hit so that's good.
Yeah guts isn't guaranteed survival even less so compered to evasion and invul
@@ACertainMan well hercules is with non buff remove attacks and he gives 4 turns plus evade so he makes a good backrow to clear.
If it did work that way everyone would do double hercules irisviel and never die or Nero and give like 9 turns before the whole team died.

@@ACertainMan 5 hit Inval Hercules with 3 guts an evade and an extra guts plus mystic code boy that would be extremely dangerous. That's basically a boss level threat.

I failed this quest so many times until I borrowed a herc like you. You won this pretty much the exact same way I won this. Herc's bond CE is soooo good, Overcoming his myth as always!
It's common for them to stop attacking even when there is a team, if a taunter procs Guts. I think her continuing attacking had something to do with the fact that she was the only one on the field, giving her multiple actions instead of just 1. Either that or the fact that she used an NP and skill instead of attacking. Death + taunt at least ends the turn 100% of the time, which can be seen in any solo. Guts is treated similarly to death, which is why the attacking should stop.
This event was an exception, on purpose.
I'm pretty sure the Guts+turn end thing works only if the servant with guts is alone, because as it procs it's as if there's noone else to attack so the enemy turn ends prematurely. I could be wrong though

I used a Cu meme team after I saw Hanako do it on the JP server. My team was different from his, but after three tries I was able to beat it.
I didn't lose anyone myself. I used bb mashu Jeanne friend Merlin and nobody died in my second run.
Back up I had cu and Hercules but I didn't need to use them. Overall a fun cq
I went guns blazing with Jalter waver merlin, timed Jalters death after she killed the spriggan and broke ecchans gauge, once she died I had mash come in and stall with waver merlin, and on the last turn I had everyone die so phantom can finish ecchan off

But yeah I switched out BB at one Health and it was basically a stragety game with mhxa after that.
I don't think I'm gonna do finals. I'm set but I may try once just to see and then move on.

God damn finally. Skadi Merlin and David. They’re insane. Stalled for a solid 10 turns on a broken Mhxa. Then Basaka for the win. Low key skadi’s np is criminally underrated. It’s probably the next best thing if u don’t have Jeanne plus that defense down second skill of hers saved me from so many crits holy shit
Each of my attempts on this quest it felt like she had an 70% crit rate, no hyperbole. Was such bullshit

IMO Taiga's CQ is still harder. MHX can be starved to death, with Taiga there is no easy way out - you need to steamroll them.

Your video must be a good luck charm since I won only after watching! I even used Bond 10 Herc too.
used gil(event CE), mash, merlin supp as frontline and abby(event CE), waver and herc as backline.
killed the spriggan and small hp enemies with gil, swapped gil for abby and from thereon it's stallfest. abby is very useful despite her long skills cd since her NP can clear all of ecchan's non-permanent buffs as well as reducing her crit, making survival easier.
Lol myst misunderstood many mechanics here including guts. Also the waver NP basically ruined the momentum, I made that mistake before using Squirtoria NP just after activating hard defense buffs only to delay enemy NP to the turn AFTER the survival mechanics are gone. Still did better job than me on clearing this 1st try.

Yhea, this one one pretty hard. The Achilles one was too! But the porblem is that I did not have much options to face him...
I used Marie, Iri, Skadi and Jeanne. Finished it without any problem. After Turn 17, the only thing you need to stay alive until turn 20.
Honestly this quest was so much easier than Sheba quest. I can't even break her bar.

When you are in a team the guts doesn't stop the atack it only works when there is only one servant in the field.
Despite the fact that you won, you really shouldnt have broken her bar so early. Wait until you steal all the buffs or let her eat them, then try to get to a stable point for stalling (e.i. having the skill cds go to zero and ready to go) before you break. It's just a war of attrition after that point.
Meanwhile I spent 8+ hours trying to beat this shit.

Jeanne george with invi ce and and a dmg dealer(I did it with jeanne alter).After george died I used merlin.Then mash and castle of snow herc.But mhxa never did break through merlin jeanne and jeanne.F2p btw

EEEEYYYY good job! but seriously fuck this quest. Like it's not even the hardest in my opinion it's just that the RNG involved throughout the whole thing is beyond annoying. There was this one run I did where the second I broke MHXA's first bar, she insta crit my entire frontline team.

I tried this couldn't get past the first hp bar
Parvati/skadi/waver/merlin/mash/cu works everyone except for mash and cu can be np1. Cu en par need mlb damage ce, lots of rng but it can work, my skadi only had s3 maxed and cu had all of his skills at 8.

you could have this done safer if you didn't spend 9 turns killing mobs
I know its important to steal the buffs but the more turns you spend on the first hp bar the longer you have to stall

Unless you are soloing, Cu alter imo is still easier to keep alive but overall they are both top tier berserkers

I did it first try as well. Managed to cheese the shit out of it with an MLB Necromancer. Couldn’t believe my luck with 5 resurrections in a row!

Sure. He has atk down from skill and NP that make enemy hit like a wet noodles and do some stall memes too

Is it me or is the number of turns until her low energy kick in varies? I have tried and failed several times to crits mostly. But each time i depleted all her snacks before breaking her bar. First time it took 4 turns for her low energy to kick in. Then next try it was 6 turns. 3rd time I noticed it become 10 turns wth. I should have broken her bar early because it will give her less move when there are other mobs and also killing/eating each will cut down waiting time.
Supposedly the turn count on the hunger meter goes down by 1 for every enemy YOU kill BEFORE you break the first bar

Hate this cq its so stupid ffs, she wiped out my front line cause some stupid luck crits, she just goes on and bamboozled me all the time imma pass this one *(cs doesnt work in my case its just pure luck if i get to finish this cq)
I won on my first attempt, I ran BB (DMG CE), Tamamo, Jeanne (Ruler).
Support Merlin, Mash and Houkusai in the backrow just in case.
What event is this?
I just used Dantes, or any Quick AoE, so I can (1. Clear the wave and chunk Ecchan at the same time or (2. Have a lot of stars to crit a single enemy down.
The Comp i used was Dantes/Waver/Merlin/SP Skadi/Mashu/Cu.
What happened was, First Victim was Merlin, replaced by Skadi, then skadi killed an enemy that has the poison dot, while Dantes killed the spriggan, surviving until he kills ifrit and die by burn dot at the same turn skadi dies with poison dot.
And because Dantes is AoE, I already broke Ecchan's bar in his 3rd NP, so by the time i cleared all the mobs, I only needed 2/3 turns for the hunger debuff on Ecchan to activate.
theres a mob that kills the attacker instantly tho

I've had a dozen tries on Sheba and I did this on my first try expecting to either try again or be left with one Servant. I had four.
Someone give him the link to the person that 2 turned this boss fight with Jalter, both bars in 2 turns. Even I as a F2P did it in less than 16 turns xD
BTW this quest was easy as hell. But hey what can you ask when the man goes with tamamo and full stall team in a fight where you need to nuke stuff xD

Took me 5 tries for this one. Broke the break bar asap with cu, waver, jeanne frontline. Soon as it broke I swapped out cu for mash. Waver died from a crit and George, followed by skadi stalled the rest of the match until mhxa debuffed herself to 1 hp. Beat it with only waver and George dying.
