A39 Barnstaple to minehead Pt1

Continuing on the A39 from the town of Barnstaple riding the 37 miles along the headlands of the north Devon coast, crossing into Somerset and heading toward Minehead. Passig through the pretty Exmoor coastal village of Lynton and making the most of the fun twisty Road. In general the road is a great ride, but can be busy especially in Summer. This can slow the road and deminish the enjoyment.
This ride was taken as part of a 3 day mini-tour inspired by Adventure Bike Riders King Arthur’s Way, modified to take in more of the twisties, and even though the starting out drizzly the A 39 still proved to be fun when clear.
