Pls where and how much
Dónde se puede adquirir esa máquina en México
How are we feeling about this beauty against the Barista pro?
Can you do a Comparison between this and the Breville Touch Impress? Thanks! As I am still trying to decide which 1 to buy
What are you liking about this machine vs. the Touch Impress?
Price for the SMEG and it's Italian Heritage and design Vs Pug prep for the Breville, but price for Breville is higher

Hi. I loved your review about this Smeg machine. I just got the machine and am having some issues. Assuming I get the same coffee as you and have it freshly roasted and using it about 1-2 weeks after roasting, what grind size did you use, and for a double shot, did you change ground amount and did you change volume coming out also? How many grams of ground are you using for double and are you aiming for a 2:1 ratio or something else?
Hi! Even with the same machine, and same beans our settings will still be different! We would suggest starting in the middle and going from there. We definitely adjusted the dose amount, it takes some playing with. Is your espresso pouring too fast or too slow?
Too fast. Putting 18 grams of coffee using double shot (non pressurized portafilter). I’m around 5 grind level with medium roast coffee. Extraction dial looks perfect center. But I am getting 72 grams of coffee in the cup at a 1:4 ratio basically.
How do you like your Smeg now?
Thx for demo. I am a beginner and was interested in where your bean grinder was set and what basket to use as I don't understand the difference in types (I realise the size) please?
Our grind setting will change depending on what beans we use! Our setting will not be the same as yours. For the basket, we use double shot baskets, and these ones are 58mm :)
What setting is the beans grind at ? I just got the machine today 😮🎉

Any option to add other beans or ground coffee for decaf like on the delonghii dinamica plus?
Yes! You would just scoop the ground espresso into the portafilter, then tamp, and not utilize the built in grinder :)
@@ecscoffeeinc of course! Silly me. 🙂 Thanks.
Just got my machine today! If I may ask, how many grams of coffee does the porta filter hold?
Up to around 20g :)

Hi I just hot this express machine, it looks great but I have a question: How do I get the creamy expresso, I have been playing with different settings to get the perfect creamy espresso coffee but i am not there yet, not sure what I am doing wrong. any tips will be much appreciated. thanks
Hi! This is common when first using a machine. What is your espresso looking/tasting like, and what kind of beans are you using?
@@ecscoffeeinc Hi, I am using ROOT Rahm Roast - Rahm Rosto 500G from Guatemala
@@Cuatre8 And how is the espresso pouring and tasting? Watery, sour, bitter?

Hi there, can you please be honest and tell me if your puck is coming out dry? I've tried all settings and pamper and the the puck is sloshy...water pools on top. I've used both baskets and all grind settings
hey, I have had my machine for about 3 weeks, I have exactly the same issue, it is driving me nuts.. have you worked out what is causing it yet?
How do you like your Smeg now?
Adjust your grind size
Same issue here
Wie viele Funktionen hat eine Kaffeemühle?
Can you please explain why I have 4 little plates 2 with holes 2 with no holes ?
We think you are referring to your porafilter baskets! The ones with holes are single wall, and the ones with no holes are pressurized baskets, to be used with either old beans or with pre ground espresso
can you please Tell me your Settings?
Single Shot / Gramm / Water ML and wich Grade
Same for Double?
Thank you. I became Not One good Espresso with this machine
Hi! Our setting will vary from yours! How is your espresso pouring? Too fast, or too slow?
to fast, no creme…oder to slow
Never in the Espresso Range of manometer…
I take 11g for Single and 18g for Double and 5 in the grinder … i testet from 8 to 2 in the grinder…Not succsesfull

@@Bullraider1 It could be your beans, or 18g is not enough coffee, or your grind size still needs to be finer. If your beans are not freshly roasted you will need a much finer grind size :)

Ignore the jack asses in the comments and thanks for a great review. Thank you.
Boy after all the comments below, we either have many user errors, or this new machine is not ready for prime time.
You can’t taste the difference between a 54 vs 58
Because of the grind distribution you definitely can :)
@@ecscoffeeinc no you can not, many experts have even said so.
The hot water feature is pretty rubbish. It should have a separate water tap.
No need to do americano that way. Just press espresso button for 3 seconds and that's it 😃
Sounds like a yummy shot, but not a true americano!
You'd have to be on drugs to pay $1299 for this POS, but the videos are fun to watch
got it for 1000 with 500 worth of accessories included. very hard to beat. far better than people give it credit for. .. but a POS, I assume you own one and have used it then, to have such a volatile response?
These videos are really infomercials and not reviews, but the girls are cute, so whatever... 😊
Bought my Smeg after seeing your review. Really happy with the machine- very easy to dial in to get my perfect macchiato, even manage to impress my wife with pulling her cortado. Only weird niggle I’ve had is when steaming milk in the supplied jug it starts out really noisy and as the jug gets hot it quietens down🫤
Hmmm... It sounds like you are not aerating your milk! Check out our video on how to steam milk: th-cam.com/video/o6x5ZvrkQxU/w-d-xo.html
