I grew up in a very abusive household, with a dominating Stepfather figure.. Me and my sister lived in fear when we were young, it turned into rebellion as we got older.
I remember my breaking point was on Xmas when I was maybe 11 or 12. He started pummeling my sister and I pulled a ham fork on him.. He ended up snatching it out of my hand, and it turned into a fist fight into the kitchen..
Anyway, the fights continued until I moved out when I was 17. This song is all fun and shit, but it hit me differently... I hope you're all doing well, and it does get better..
