I loved this program so much a true devoted fan. Season 5 is not here yet but looking forward to seeing it. I so love every character in fringe. But Walter Bishop I really adored him in so many ways. I will miss you all GREAT JOB EVERY ONE
The magnitude of sadness I feel when listening to Christopher Tilton's compilation "Father and Father You Go" overwhelms me. The scene plays over and over in my head where Walter is holding young Peter as he takes his last breath and dies....My throat is swelling up and hurts just imagining it. The enigma of how Chris embraces the tragedy in this piece shows me that sadness truly can be beautiful. In the end you can feel and see the light within the music while feeling Walter's loss of his son. The grief that consumes our souls is magically enlightened through musicality as they both walk to the end of the tunnel and embrace each other in spirit for the very last time. Truly magnificent. The music is so awsome! Nothing comparable in other series soundtracks. It more has the quality of a great moviesoundtrack (Hans Zimmer-niveau :D). When I listen to this track, scenen of all seasons come to my mind. How Peter visits Walter for the first time in St.Clairs again. How Walter stands at original Peter's grave. How he and the Fringe-team have to save Walter's son from the other universe. How Walter cannot feel joyfull about the return of his dead son. And in the end, how Walter makes the greatest sacrifice for his son, Olivia and Etta. I am grateful, the producers made us such a present.
I never cry, but damn... Fringe dehydrated me by crying too many times. In order : - White Tullip (Walter's monologue about getting a sign from God) - The Day we Died (Walter's meeting with Olivia, Ella remembering the cow Gene) - Brave New World (Walter shooting Olivia in the face and then saving her : that was a rollercoster) and finally - An Enemy of Fate (the tape and the hug).
That's great! You should really watch it a second time. You'll notice so many new things! For instance, every episode has a visual clue for the one coming next, and the Observer appears in the background in every episode. There's an ''observer supercut'' on YT if you're interested!

Fringe has propably the most emotionally powerful soundtrack since Lost. Chris Tltion never stops to amaze me ;)
