I know dogs are like children and love them so much, so glad he's doing better. Also, when my daughter was 2 months old (now 28) she got very sick and they had to take her for tests and we couldn't go. They also suggest we go for coffee so we wouldn't hear her screaming from the test 😥. They actually had to sedate me because I lost it. First child, 2 months old and so hormonal. She recovered after a week in the hospital. So I understand your emotions with phil.
Happy such an adorable pup has such a caring family who will pay whatever to make sure their dog is ok! Ppl wonder why I spend so much on my dogs, cuz they are family! They are like your children you would do anything for them!

My family's first dog died of kidney failure, though he kept going for about a full year after the diagnosis and was still quite energetic up until the last few weeks. Those two words really brought home some memories for me; SO relieved to hear the initial test was incorrect. I hope you'll have many more years with your adorable fluff babies, and that your daughter can spend her childhood with three furry best friends.
They are both so beautiful. Phillip really looks like my "Little Wolf's" twin except for the tail. Little Wolf used to howl when the local Fire Department would go out on runs, and he'd howl them back in as they returned. When he died, a fellow from the Fire Department came over to tell me how much they missed him howling them out and back in to town. 💗❣️💔❣️💗
Emma at 9:36 did her best not to break down & weep while talking about her temporary separation from Phil. We're all obsessed with Teddy Bear Phil here, but none of us can ever love him as intensely as Emma does. They say like attracts like. Phil obviously has something divine about him. And being his mum, Emma too is a very sweet person with a pristine heart & beautiful soul, no wonder she found Phil and raised him to become the Cutest & Cuddliest Bear/Dog in the whole wide world. We're all so lucky to live at a time when technology makes it possible to easily record, upload & stream videos from most parts of the world. And what makes us all even more lucky is that Emma has chosen to share many of her moments with Phil with all of us.

Sounds like typical thyroid symptoms I have underactive thyroid myself and symptoms are same in humans. I’m sure the meds will soon sort Phil out. He has a very gentle soul this dog indeed ❤️
I remembered, my dog, she was a golden retriever, was also having this some kind of fur disease. And her tail also started to loose. But as far as i remembered, what i did, we did (my brother and i) just following the vets instructions, and we gave the medicines and it was routine, stick to the schedule and then at one fine day the fur grew back. Don't worry too much. You also may want to try a second opinion to other vets as well.

Just an FYI even for humans. Kidneys showing as low or failing is a surprisingly common thing with blood tests when they are usually fine. It is apparently caused by the blood sitting around for a too long before it is tested. .
Poor Phil!! Poor you and all that worry!! Thyroid issues are expensive. My pet gets medication for this and it is not cheap!! But if he did not get the thyronorm, he would eat everything in sight and still demand more food, used to get me up about 3 times a night and that is how I discovered there must be something wrong. I would feed him, go to bed, and within 10 mins, he wanted more food, and would not leave me alone until I got up and fed him again and again and again!! I can see how Phil loves the vet, lots of friends to meet, toys, treats, attention, etc!!

When your pet feeling bad it breaks your heart💔 I have 2 rottweiler and one had a big laser surgeri a year ago on both of his front paws were they removed about an 1,5 cm of bad tissue because of pain when walking. His paws will never be nomal but he is back to his old self more or less just abit careful on gravel. It is expensive and we also have insurens but the wet that does the operation were a 5 hour drive away one way. You are perfect owners, loveing, careing, happy and lives with their pets as family members as they are. Lots of love to you, your family and the fur family. From sweden
