If you switch to dsm link, your going to save all the time of trouble shooting (Going to be extensive) and not to mention when you get it running there will be no learning curve of how to tune the car. We all know time is money Pretty clear choice in my mind, especially since you have a eprome ecu already, they are getting hard to track down. Best of luck
have you thought of removing all that old stand alone ecu and parts, and buying a megasquirt? its another standalone, but newer and runs on the cars normal sensors. Im going to be using that platform on my new 96 RS I bought. And it seems promising from what I have read and seen on the computer.
If you don’t mind man could you link where you bought those Headlights, they look really good. Also can you link if you have socials like insta or anything so I can see more progress of the DSM! 👍🏽
I got a 1999 gst that runs but idle really low and wandering if you could let me know what to cook for to fix it I got a OEM COMPUTER everywhere I bring it tells me there is to much done to it so they don't want to do nothing to it and don't know we're to go and get her fix do you know a place or someone that would be willing to look and let me.no what's wrong
I had a 99 gst and had horrible idle issues. like mention below. The biss a a big part of the idle...If you google how to adjust the biss screw and fallow the directions im sure you can get it running right man, back in the day i didnt know nothing about dsms..read through the forms and i promise youll learn and never have to pay someone to fix it. YOU GOT THIS!
I bought a ‘95 talon tsi two years ago that had 43k miles. It crankwalked in 1998, had the engine pulled and sat like that. Unfortunately, covid hit, work cut my hours and I had to sell it and my black 2gb talon tsi. That 95 talon is being built to autocross by the guy I sold it to
I doubt the age of that car is the reason. I've been into DSMs for a long time and I had dsmlink v1 back in 2002. Also with that small turbo it would have easily worked with just 550cc injectors and n s-afc. It's absolutely crazy the stuff they did to that GST. Doesn't make much sense what they where trying to achieve, considering in 2005 you could easily get an AEM ecu or dsmlink.
If you are spending that much time doing maintenance it might be time to buy more and start contracting. Yes you are saving money with the do it yourself technique but all that time spent is costing you way more. It will never allow you to grow.
Your 100% right. I feel as my growth have been stop since I'm maintaining them all my self now. Iv been slowly looking into passing off alot of smaller things.
@@Gabe_Ortega good. I know you are a smart men, I'm glad you even knew it before I said anything. You are going to struggle bro that's a fact. Often times the smart move beats the hard work.
sell that crap... this is 2022.. upgrade to new stuff.. it wasnt even that great back then... yes more work and time right now.. but u will be happier..especially when u start driving it...
Haha I like the girl in the audience saying that effer is fast! Hahah cool videos always glad to see a new one bud look forward to more DSM content
I’m definitely waiting for that GST, I wanna see how it goes. Oh yeah, congrats on the rentals.
Thanks!

What would it cost for me to send it out to you and have you work on it
Did you check your BISS? And have you checked to make sure your IACV is good

@@Gabe_Ortega I think it's right if passage to touch the BISS at least once during ownership lol

I forgot to mention it looks like they did a 1g with a 2g head swap

Exactly! I think they went way overboard. Still in the process of trying to get it running. Dsmlink seems to be the best option as of right now.
That Guage cluster came out of a 98 eclipse. Might not be the original mileage
It's what I thought too, but the title and back logs are accurate with the miles. Would love to find the story on this car
Gawd 🤤 that black gsx! Building my first 2ga gst. Only aiming for 350hp with 18g turbo. Don’t wanna destroy transmission.
350 hp sounds good for the trans...just don't go wot in 5th gear. Dosnt like that.
You gotta rip all that shit out
That would be the best and most expensive option.

I 100% agree! if i cant restore the ecu then dsmlink it is!
