I've been having fun with the melee combat.
Thought I should make another melee themed video again since alot of people seemed to enjoy my Mantis Blades & Katana combat gameplay :)

I like how Kereznikov Leap became one of the commonly used form of locomotion. It probably wasn't intended by the devs and is simply a glitch in physics, but it kinda fits the theme of cybernetically enhanced humans.

They need to make weapon strikes more impactful, like how it is in Dishonored or Dying Light. Other than that, the basic mechanics seem fine
out of all the weapons the katana feels the most impactful, but yeah I agree :)

Yeah I can agree with that, although the hammer really sounds like it hurts haha
Edit: Also, do you guys know how to cause the decapitation animation with the katana @ 1:00 (purposely)? Do you need to be in front of the enemy? Does DPS/stats matter? I can't replicate this with my high level katana(s), and haven't tried it with a low level katana so I was curious if anyone knew
@@sreg56 It happens a lot when you you hit enemy head with heavy katana attack from the front (like 95% of the time), I wish I knew how to avoid it as it breaks sandevistan time slowdown

For a hammer that’s suppose to be a non-lethal weapon, it’s pretty damn lethal lol

I think the AI is pretty bad :/ The AI should react better. If you attacking one the another npc is just standing and locking in other direction instead reacting by exploding grenades. But anyway nice playstyle he has.

@@Aledupa12 It is a problem with pretty much any RPG game, especially with once that give you an option to level stealth up.

I'm Netrunner ranged build and use assault rifle, but I also appreciate and love other builds like this too. Looks superhuman!

You got the cascade shadows on maximum, put it on low or off and it will fix the weird near shadow draw distance.
This is great, all I've been doing since it came out is going to work at playing, man my missus hates this game lol.

For people who are asking about katana
Its named "katana" only..its non-iconic and available in all rarities..since its non iconic it dont have special perk..he is snowballing everybody with katana bcz he is around lvl 45 if not 50.. there are better looking katanas for example name "byakko"

Most fun ive had in this game was a cold blood/katana build on very hard, with only 10 in body because one shotting enemies is boring imo. You can get one shot yourself though, so you actually have to play really well

I wish they had been more creative with the weapons tho
There could've been anti gravs to levitate enemies to kill them easily
You could even hack other cyborgs and make them destroy each other or straight up self destruct
Or speed boots to help you blitz past enemies and take out enemies in a blink of an eye
You could even transmit your consciousness from cyborg to cyborg,a window of opportunity that could open shortly before death
Or perhaps a jetpack to fly
Even a camouflage option should be available
Teleportation would be sooo op

absolutely...asian games in there country are way different man, they have all sorts of shooters like cyberpunk years ago. rf online an mmorpg was almost like it, it used to cost like $60 dollars a month. theres only been a few good ones translated though to english that was one of them. but they dont get translated, but you can pay for the service. I did, it was fairly easly. like 2 books...the game was exactly like cyberpunk. it was a beta and that was 20 years ago. it was in japanese though, on pc. it was called like reliquiem? in translation. yea it was tight af, day and night mmorpg. houses horses mounts classes guns levels to like 2000. a crazy 3d engine. it was TIGHT AF. i had a spellcaster.

why my cyberpunk doesnt chop enemy like that. they still alive after i kill him, i need to finish him off on the ground then the chop animation works

hello i have rare mantis knives but i can't finisher, what is the reason? and how can i make a finisher
Do Strong Attack (by holding attack button). If it does enough damage to kill the enemy, you'll go into the finisher. Also, air stealth kills with Mantis Blades equiped give you a unique kill animation.
any third person view for this? im getting kinda motion sick.
Something the devs should've though about, not all gamers can play in 1'st person and I get motion sickness from 1st person games, except Destiny 2
