It's a game and all and here for pure entertainment. On on a narrative level though, haven't been able to bring myself to save the game after every scenario I/V went full blown cyberpsycho like this.

The difference is that he was hacked by a MaxTac Netrunner, Disabling most of his Cyberware. It's why MaxTac was capable of cutting him down as easily as they did. If he fought back against the Netrunner (or if he had self-ICE like smasher does), this would be an entirely different story.

What they should have done is double the number of squads each time. - Defeat 1 squad, 2 show up. - Defeat 2, 4 show up - Defeat 4, 8 show up. Eventually you will die.
eventually the game would crash, but limiting the number to some sensible amount and making them stronger with upcoming waves could def be interesting experience. Some kind of wave counter as well.
i think they should increase the number of Maxtac squads, since dropping out one squads at a time they will just get slaughtered. Maybe later on 2 or even 3 or 4 squads at once.
@@doctorx2307 I think they miscalculated the power progression of the player. Like level 40 is not twice as strong as level 20, it's more like 20 times stronger lol. Since you can unlock certain key skills and abilities, can purchase and install more kinds of cyberwares etc. The enemy power progression just can't keep up with the player. A team of MaxTac is more like dummy dolls than actual threat.
It really should be a feature that if you just keep going and killing long enough they just fucking stop, because there's nobody left or the ones that are left are like "Nah, fuck that."
I haven’t seen a good overclock netrunner v maxtac video yet. It’s really powerful but you have to farm beat cops for health. A lot of challenging movement and crowd control; but immensely satisfying. Especially when you proc into mitigation and agility over HP and armor.
Best utility for crowd control for me proven to be the arm launcher system. It stuns them with shots and you can do a Quake to knock them down and keep yourself safe from taking too much dmg. With proper mobility and target selection, it's unbeatable
I wish they had made it so more than 1 maxtac squad could engage you at a time, then it would feel like you're still vulnerable and not just a full on cybergod, cause i don't think any build or playstyle would allow you to survive 3+ maxtac squads at the same time on very hard even with the berserk or sandivistan with minimum cooldown even with the added cyberware that gives 10.5% cooldown regen per kill. if every enemy on you was part of maxtac with 12-16 or more enemies on the field you would certainly start getting overwhelmed and wouldn't be able to take enemies down fast enough to recover cooldowns.
I spent 30 minutes fighting off waves of Maxtac after I killed the psycho Maxtac Female officer at the store for her Mantis blades. It was a shit show to say the least

I have an on going thing with my sniper build V. I pick a spot I won’t move from, and unleash mayhem until MaxTac shows up. After they are defeated, I lose the police and pick another spot….turns out MaxTac ain’t very good at fighting from a distance as I am so far undefeated
Trauma Team gonna be working hella overtime to recover all those bodies (provided ofc that all the officers + MaxTac operators had preem health insurance 😂)

I fucking love this game so much. I can't stop playing it. Whether I feel like playing an endless horde mode with NCPD and Maxtac, or I want to do open world exploration/easter egg hunting, or do some deep story quests, or steal cars and race, or spend hours fashioning my female V with new outfits and hair styles, I mean... this game is everything to me and the theme itself, is my absolute favorite. ❤
I'm glad they fixed the ncpd because they were just zero fun to deal with on launch, and now one of my favorite things to do is mow down waves of them and see how long you can go for.
If you killl 5 maxtac squads it should just cut straight into the secret ending Don't Fear the Reaper with no prior mission completions done. Basically Edgerunners the ending. If you have alt you can use her, if you don't, you get a special scene of you seeing your memories as you lose yourself to an explosion like the show

@@berjerkyFacts. Blunt > Blades for netrunner melee options. Just get a light legendary blunt weapon and quake when you're surrounded and low.
It's really hard, by the time MaxTac gets there it's almost impossible to keep it going, there is too many even with full ram.
