The price difference is huge between the thrill and blackout. Blackout didn’t look so good for this shot today. If I needed/want a lower end symmetric it would be between the max thrill solid and artic vibe.

I was on my last game of the set and couldn't find ANYTHING all day. Finally busted my RAW Pearl out of the bag and bowled 259 iirc. Definitely looking at the max thrill or an arctic vibe if I want another ball. Still feeling the Rhino Teal Pro a lot yesterday (finished 229,228 pulling out the 600 after not bowling for a month and getting 148 the first game)

I have had every one of the @MotivBowling Thrill line, my favorite was Thrill (Pink/Yellow) Pearl (Flux Core) (2020). When the original Top Thrill (purple/Red) (Modified Halogen Core) line came out in 2021 ball was way more responsive than I needed (house shot) when laid out identical to my OG Thrill, and I moved away from it quickly. Then the Top Thrill Solid and Hybrid came out in 8/2023 and I got both I liked the Hybrid better, however, due to a span and pitch change I put them away (gave the hybrid to a youth bowler). Last night I broke the Top Thrill Solid (with my old span and pitches) out for summer league and got through one game before I had change balls to something that blended the shot more (Black Venom) (should have kept the Hybrid). In my opinion the Thrill line has always been more "powerful" than what they are marketed for. If I am being honest, I have pre ordered both the Max Thrill Solid and Pearl they will be my one two punch for summer league with my Black Venom serving as a blend the shot back up for when I'm on a pair with the "crankers" and "plastic" throwers (LOL).

love Motiv balls but last 2 cracked at the emblem. Thrill and blue coral venom. I tend to stay away unless its a tank.
Nice! These low end type balls are what I use mostly. Been using hustle's and have been interested in the new thrills, low speed guys like myself love this kind of equipment the high end stuff just pushes me left into a zone that is to deep, too much angle, even from the start of league on a freash shot. Are you going to get the other thrill? Would love to see a comparison with the hustle's.

Motiv definitely came out with a ball that can go toe to toe with the Storm Lightning Blackout.

Brah, the Tribal (grey ball) was a beast. Same Core, similar cover. The biggest problem with all the 1000 balls everyone is making....Is the new rule change that they say wasn't gonna change anything...LIE and the OIL. These lower end balls were KING back just even 3-4 years ago. Motion Holes were Dominant and effective. Why you think they changed it? The balls are getting better with new cores to overcome that change. However, everything is strong and harder to DIAL IN!!!!!
The max solid is longer from what I have seen. Both have a place in my bag.

I'm a low rev bowler, and wondering if I could build an arsenal (3 ball) Motiv Max Thrill with the solid, pearl and my plastic ball? I just do league, and tournaments when it's a house shot.

How do you compare the new vibe to the thrill?

I'm currently in a tourney of 6 games squads, 40 ft 1:4 21ml,
My bag is: purple urethane, polaris, nova, p2, rstx2, wolverine
Man lanes were hooking... managed to get 1100 series, scores weren't high.
Yesterday went for a practice session on that pattern, took my hustle i never get to use, 910 for 4 games..
I have my next squad this week, hoping the hustle will do me as good as the practice session.
Tl;dr- you're 100% right on the car metaphor, the low end balls sometimes never get the attention they should get.
