I would also suggest NOT using margin/leverage if you are a long-term investor.

Only use margin for tracking Indexes e.g. VUSA S&P 500
1. Dollar cost averaging. Build position over time.
2. Don’t put money in you cannot loose.
3. Plan for the long term
4. Only invest in good company, not hype.
5. Stay the course and keep on buying.
6. If you missed the boat don’t try to hop back on.
7. Chase your own goal. Compare yourself to yourself.

basicly the best thing you guys can do do in bad times is to invest in your self like tom does in this video! Learn new stuff and make yourself a better version, so that in the future things look better! Building a youtubechannel, an app, a patreon membership and a discord channel are just some exemples. love the channel Tom you inspire me every day

1. invest in piecemeal, not lump sum; 2. use spare money for investment; 3. take a long term view of investment; 4. Invest only in good companies; 5. keep investing, rain or shine; 6. Set your own goal and stick to it.
I’m currently 30k down on my stock in Hyliion but it was always a long term position. It think having no emotion on the current price is the only thing that keep me sleeping at night. Great vid mate 👍

I will be holding TSLA for at least 10-20 years. I’ve been down thousands and I’m not concerned. I do, however, wish I had not taken profits in NVDA so soon.

Absolutely, I’ve been adding to my $PFE $WBA $NEE $HBI $CVS holdings as well as a few biotech companies this past month.
The average retiree, I believe, should have been able to have enough to last the rest of his days. I t just depends on choices during your working days, just as I came to realize later. Surprising how I still netted more $2m. by retirement. And this is while living in New York!

REITs have been hit super hard in the last 2 years some are down 60 - 70% and they pay 5% div most of them so i'm going into them Alexandria real estate equities i'm looking at super undervalued recently tanked 50%

Suppose you own a particular stock that has 2x, 3x etc. it drops 10% below its highest high. Would you still continue to buy? Seems you’re really messing up your profit percentages? I suppose it’s one of those case by case scenarios.
