Oh my gosh...I remember watching this when it aired with my mom and sister. My mom couldn't even watch it because that's how terrifying Roger was in these scenes. I am shocked he didn't win the emmy again this year...I don't even think he was nominated in 95.
"Please, don't let this last chance slip away." This couple has had more last chances than anyone could ever imagine having and they always end up screwing it up due to insecurities. Todd put a lot of faith in Blair and once she wronged him that unquestionable trust could never be found, just like their undying love could never be lost.
I went to watch the wire scene because of all the hype. and I'm sorry SnB have NOTHING on TnB. this scene was WAY more nail biting then that wire scene and Todd is SOOOOO much hotter then sonny. sorry NOT sorry wooo
@1dbhsa I have to agree with you there! With this, all I could think when I saw Todd was "oh God, what is he going to do? What is he going to do to her?!!!" In the wire scenes, the effect was kind of negligible, because no matter what, you KNEW that there were certain lines that wouldn't be crossed. With Todd, there is so much in the realm of terrible that could happen that it's scary!

This is just....so intense! I know "The Belt" scenes are legendary, and I've seen them before, but it seriously gets me every time. So so scary! These must have been draining scenes for them. And this is so much crazier than GH's "Wire" scenes with Sonny and Brenda. I don't know how people compare the two! Can anybody tell me if Blair was actually pregnant with Starr here? It's scary to think that she could be.

I love TnB, but, back in the day SnB just oozed sex and they were drop dead gorgeous. Honestly, I love both couples. In some ways their stories are similar, yet they're totally different and the characters are definitely different. I think the biggest thing is just the overall great writing that took place in the 90's. The writers actually took the time to build a story and draw the viewers in instead of smothering us with cheap plots.

In this situation todds the victim! He stepped up to the plate & immediately married blair never asked for proof or a paternity test. I guess blair knew much more than cord that david hired a p.i. dorian flipped seeing todds key or that he told blair he was adopted. Blair viki tina & yes blair all figured it out. Btw man did the show hit pay dirt that his last name was the same as tinas mom. What an awesome coincidence. In 93 giving him the name manning onviously wasn't planned esp way early on b4 they even decided to have him lead a gang rape! In fact todd was jist supposed to be a plot point to show how lonely marty was to take a classmate home for sex & some company. Marty even kissed him & hit on him another 2x he was even alone w/ her several times & never firced himself on her. The closest he came was when he saw suede he grabbed & kissed her the morning they woke up after he tutored her.

So blair returns seeing cord w/ tina & todds the perfect man blair made him wait awhile b4 touching him & when they finally have sex on the 4th of July she stops it to do her birth control " thing" todd wants a baby badly yet tells her take all the time u need & even says if she doesn't want another baby he understands. Then she makes him buy a radio station to fire luna ( she needed to ignore max luna & the dumb buisness war) she forces him to another party dorians which seems to go better as addie sees how well todd treats blair. Then he tells her he loves her she refuses to say it back but was moved & they start making love & he again being the perfect husband asks her if she needs to put in her birth control she Says she wants to make a baby. Which they did. Then they go out to eat max offers a truce wants luna back on the air & offers to pay for ads 6 months up front. Blairs about to go nuts when he said he'll think about it so he for blair says their airtime is filled. Then max calls blair a hideous name the " town pump " & todd literally goes to throw down. Telling max he's gonna bury his company " just to make my woman smile " ok perfect husband & father to be. Tells her again he loves her blair says nothing todd even Says he hopes one day she will say it back. Instead she distracts him w/ sex on the couch. Now this leads to max out for revenge where he was really showing how bored he was w/ luna & his domestic life sadly after all he & blair put her through gambling cheating treating luna & cord & Renee like garbage he gets her back they have twins then right back to fighting blair which they both got into which was so unnecessary. Also I forgot how todd bought a building for her so she didn't have to pay asa rent. So max being a creep & so not into hos wife or kids starts stalking addie to get dirt on blair gets it & for all he knows todd could hurt blair pysically but so knew he set up for their marriage to fail. Tina & asa alreasy made him suspicious once they both pointed out the insane coincidence she waa suddenly pregnant 2 min b4 he learned about the $$ & even worked him good by saying she'd marry cord & tell him the " baby " was his unless todd would marry her. I mean what if todd said i won't marry u but I'll raise the baby w/ u. I think blair would have dropped him & said she had a miscarriage. In fact that had to be her plan b/c when she & todd married they were about to have sex then she stopped him to take her b.c todd called her out saying " why bother w/ b.c if ur already pregnant?" So blair looked horrified when tossed her bag to consumate the marriage. Not horrified by him but getting pregnant . Anyway he was so good to her & yea he finally snapped when he said in anger he was glad the baby was dead. Then she as I said verbally shredded & shredded & he lost it but stopped himself. He threw her on the bed he did take his blazer off & asked her if he she waa scared the furthest he got waa undoing his belt then saw martys face stopped & ran out. Then he had the marriage annulled when blairs lawyer showed up threatening about her pressing charges she changed the locks her lawyer also talked about getting luke half his fortune. Legally he was left no choice blair was acting as the victim it was his home she lied to him after he treated her like a queen she refused to give him space kept running to cord when that relationship was so over b4 she faked the pregnancy. She even ran to bang todd on Christmas b/c she & cord had yet another breakup then she made up w/ cord right after todd zipped up & left & poor broke alone todd blair told never to speak to her again when she seduced him ! Then todd legally got the right legal ruling fraud which annulled the marriage. Yet blair ran somehow to own melador. Todd pretty much was still way decent to her offering her no back rent or rent in exchange to be back on as president of melador . Why I don't know w/o his $$ that company was belly up fast. Then blair kept running around guilt tripping todd it was his fault " the night I was annulled" planned to abort his child w/ o telling him after asa gloated to her she was cut from the will & if yodd didn't have an heir cj & sarah got his $$ when he died. Suddenly blair left her abortion appt & ran to meet dorian where they both planned to keep todds 2nd baby from him . Todd even went to check on her a couple times b/c he saw she looked so upset. Sadly only til blair saw todd blow past hee looking for marty did she start to want him again. Cord was gone shes lucky dorian let her live rent free at the penthouse then when marty gave blair todds watch she ran into todd he asked her to lunch then seduced him in the stables. She still kept lying about his baby even after they had sex again. Finally when he proposed they had limo sex she told him. Was he mad ? No! She admitted she was 4 months planned an abortion yet he still wanted to marry her & wanted a wedding right away. Lastly todd begged her to go to ireland w/ him to bring marty back. No way was marty gonna ask todd & pregnant blair to stay to help her boy toy patrick. Then blair goes & bangs patrick pretty fast after todds death. At that point she had a premie starr 2 companies to run all todds $$ a whole family she grew close to plus starr was a lord , so viki reached out to her. I mean blaor of all men the guy tidd suffered agony for almost a year. Patrick even dumped her. Todd comes home to that ! Sadly blair was this close to a sexual reunion w,/ todd but she calls patrick to meet up. Ugh then baby lie no 3 w/ jack lying & rubbing todds face in it " im having naxs baby " as some dumb test. Then todd returns 8 years later & literally is all over tomas the man who took todd to be held prisoner & tortured for 8 years. Its sad b/c if blair could ever be honest they'd have had like 6 kids & a great life. I don't condone todds dead baby lie ever but blair set that hard core into motion. She treats him like a sperm donor & atm. It's sad.

Tina & asa alreasy made him suspicious once they both pointed out the insane coincidence she waa suddenly pregnant 2 min b4 he learned about the $$ & even worked him good by saying she'd marry cord & tell him the " baby " was his unless todd would marry her.
I mean what if todd said i won't marry u but I'll raise the baby w/ u. I think blair would have dropped him & said she had a miscarriage. In fact that had to be her plan b/c when she & todd married they were about to have sex then she stopped him to take her b.c todd called her out saying " why bother w/ b.c if ur already pregnant?" So blair looked horrified when tossed her bag to consumate the marriage. Not horrified by him but getting pregnant . Anyway he was so good to her & yea he finally snapped when he said in anger he was glad the baby was dead. Then she as I said verbally shredded & shredded & he lost it but stopped himself. He threw her on the bed he did take his blazer off & asked her if he she waa scared the furthest he got waa undoing his belt then saw martys face stopped & ran out.
Then he had the marriage annulled when blairs lawyer showed up threatening about her pressing charges she changed the locks her lawyer also talked about getting luke half his fortune. Legally he was left no choice blair was acting as the victim it was his home she lied to him after he treated her like a queen she refused to give him space kept running to cord when that relationship was so over b4 she faked the pregnancy. She even ran to bang todd on Christmas b/c she & cord had yet another breakup then she made up w/ cord right after todd zipped up & left & poor broke alone todd blair told never to speak to her again when she seduced him ! Then todd legally got the right legal ruling fraud which annulled the marriage. Yet blair ran somehow to own melador. Todd pretty much was still way decent to her offering her no back rent or rent in exchange to be back on as president of melador . Why I don't know w/o his $$ that company was belly up fast. Then blair kept running around guilt tripping todd it was his fault " the night I was annulled" planned to abort his child w/ o telling him after asa gloated to her she was cut from the will & if yodd didn't have an heir cj & sarah got his $$ when he died. Suddenly blair left her abortion appt & ran to meet dorian where they both planned to keep todds 2nd baby from him . Todd even went to check on her a couple times b/c he saw she looked so upset. Sadly only til blair saw todd blow past hee looking for marty did she start to want him again. Cord was gone shes lucky dorian let her live rent free at the penthouse then when marty gave blair todds watch she ran into todd he asked her to lunch then seduced him in the stables. She still kept lying about his baby even after they had sex again. Finally when he proposed they had limo sex she told him. Was he mad ? No! She admitted she was 4 months planned an abortion yet he still wanted to marry her & wanted a wedding right away. Lastly todd begged her to go to ireland w/ him to bring marty back. No way was marty gonna ask todd & pregnant blair to stay to help her boy toy patrick. Then blair goes & bangs patrick pretty fast after todds death. At that point she had a premie starr 2 companies to run all todds $$ a whole family she grew close to plus starr was a lord , so viki reached out to her. I mean blaor of all men the guy tidd suffered agony for almost a year. Patrick even dumped her. Todd comes home to that ! Sadly blair was this close to a sexual reunion w,/ todd but she calls patrick to meet up. Ugh then baby lie no 3 w/ jack lying & rubbing todds face in it " im having naxs baby " as some dumb test.
Then todd returns 8 years later & literally is all over tomas the man who took todd to be held prisoner & tortured for 8 years. Its sad b/c if blair could ever be honest they'd have had like 6 kids & a great life. I don't condone todds dead baby lie ever but blair set that hard core into motion. She treats him like a sperm donor & atm. It's sad.
@@nattyps3160 As the one with far greater strength and a history of violence; a potential physical and sexual abuser, it's up to Todd to get control over the level of his sick anger, back off before he makes threats and leave rather than to threaten violence and rape as he most certainly did. He's a convicted rapist and he's threatening rape and you don't see that as a problem?? Todd is responsible for his own vile behavior no matter what Blair says to him. I dont hate Todd by any means. HIs childhood would make anyone kind of twisted and I think he makes some progress with his awful temper over the years but i do hate his violence with Blair and Tea. There's no excuse for violence or even intimidation.
@@nattyps3160 I do not believe for a minute that she treats him like a sperm donor and ATM but, since you do, I'll just say this: Todd keeps coming back for more; many times actually! He seals his own fate by constantly pursuing her.
