I thank you for this great in-depth review… I do have to take issue with your comments about Bluetooth le and midi. I have been using this type of system for years and have not encountered any level of lag from Bluetooth. I was not happy with your wholesale dismissal of this very useful feature based on hearsay. Please at least investigate the feature before rubbishing it…

Can you listen to the keyboard via the bluetooth connection? As an idiot who always used to forget when using wire connected headphones to take them off when moving away from my computer I changed to using bluetooth headphones.

Also is the Casio ct s-500 the same as the ct1000v becouse I have the s-500?

The CT-S500 shares all the features found in the CT-S1000V EXCEPT the Vocal Synthesis feature. Anything you see/ hear being done with a CT-S1000V that doesn't use Vocal Synthesis can be applied to the CT-S500 too. Hope this helps!

What's the freaking name of the Bluetooth dongle when you attempt to connect?

      "WU-BT10 MIDI" = Bluetooth MIDI
      "WU-BT10 AUDIO" = Bluetooth AUDIO
Check the segment @ 4:00 - "Pairing the S1000V to a cellphone over Bluetooth".
@ 4:20 I demonstrate the devices that show up when I initially switch on my cellphone's Bluetooth - the dongle will appear as - "WU-BT10 MIDI". This is for connecting/ using with MIDI data only.
If you want to stream Bluetooth AUDIO to the S1000V, you have have to put the S1000V into pairing mode, which I show @ 4:57 . When you do that, you should now see "WU-BT10 AUDIO" appear as one of the Bluetooth devices available to connect with your phone/ tablet.
      Hope that helps!
