I totally agree. Maybe this is a result when you do have a natural talent. The colours appears in her voice when she feels the music in that exact moment.
She does not have that much control over her voice... stop your biases just because you enjoy her music.

she's unreal. Saw her at Electric Picnic in Ireland earlier in the year. she was in tears, the whole audience was in tears..... she's one of the brightest sparks in the music industry worldwide. perfection.

@@marvincarlgranada2910 there's no way she's 5'9... I'm just about 5'2 and when I met her after one of her gigs and she stood by me for a picture we were practically the same height, she was slightly taller than me, but she definitely wasn't 5'9 😂

The extreme politness with which Sigrid says "Thank you" at the end really shows how humble she is. She says "It is an honor" while the truth is having her there must have equally been an honor for the show organizers. I guess she doesn't realise that how extremely good she is.

There are certain vocal phrasings that are very similar to Adele, a wonderful song and a wonderful voice.
Yes she has an Adele influence, you can hear that in her music, but I love that, taking influences from everywhere, and making it her own. She's amazing.

I agree, and it probably was a difficult choice, given the prestige and formality. Her beautiful mom made up for it, though! Anyway, wardrobe considerations were probably more important for someone like Zara Larsson, who had to leave her skimpy outfits behind that evening ;-)
Sigrid also kinda made it her trademark to dress like a pre-teen, and nobody else can rock that look like her.

Absolutely amazing... only wish I can watch her live now...
I listened (again) to the original studio recording of this and I have to say this is by far and away the best version. It’s less gritty and her voice is purity in this. With the full orchestra it is simply spellbinding. I love how whichever song she sings live, she changes it somehow. Different phrasing, backing, pace, instruments. Whatever it is, she just.. makes it work. There are not many artists out there who mash up their own songs as often as she does and gets away with it. A true artist of the highest order. All hail the Sigrid.
