- Many people with Autism and their families message Tommy after seeing his videos. We love to connect with all of Tommy's viewers, and it makes us so happy to know that Autistic friends are enjoying watching, and that other families find hope in watching Tommy's videos. We met a beautiful family whose son Austin has Autism. Austin loves Disney too. And magical things happened that day! Characterpalooza at Hollywood Studios happened! And Minnie Mouse, Jasmine, Mulan, Green Army Men, Pinocchio, and other characters all came and said hi to Tommy and Austin. Tommy got kisses on his cheeks from Mulan and Jasmine, at the same time! And two green army men chatted with Tommy.

I dont get why some of us autistics get annoyed by the whole inspiration thing if other autists or even neurotypicals feel inspired by one of us then hey thats pretty cool!

This means a lot to me. I have an autistic brother too so I know how important these moments are. The Disney actors did a great job!
All Cast Members are so kind and wonderful, especially to people with deseases. I know they all are trained how they should interact with disabled people. But to be trained is one thing. To do this in the reality, is the second thing and always different.In your videos you can see how good they are trained. To see your Fun time is sooo wonderful. I love all your videos. Tommy your are the best example how different these handicap is. My uncle has had Autism too. But he never could interact like you Tommy. You are really sweet with the people around you and you are so brave. I know how hard it is for people like you to be surounded with so many people and so much sounds. Many people should look your videos and understand how small their own problems are compared with you. You shows us how important it is to be happy, how much problems this live even brings to you. Thank you so much for this.

Tommy is so great, he's so smart even though he's autistic, and very creative :) I love how he wants to go out in the world and meet new people, and become active. Tommy really inspires me and a lot of people.

I just love when I watch videos when Tommy gets a kiss on both sides of the cheek by Disney Princesses! It just makes me want to go back to Orlando and meet the girls and potentially get a kiss on both sides of my cheek!
I've watched pretty much ALL of these videos... and one thing has become abundantly clear to me... Maryann must be AMAZING at charades. She's so keen on non-verbal body language. ;)
Tommy is so good..He was asking princess Jasmine for a wish to the Genie not for him but for the two guyz...I was moved to tears....not an ordinary thing to see in an ordinary day...

Hi Tommy! I have autism too and love watching your videos! It's always so inspiring to watch you and you're so kind and positive :) I know this is an older video but it's always so nice seeing your different videos. I was diagnosed not long ago and I'm trying to find others like me :D it's been a while since I've been to Disney and want to try to get better at interacting with the characters, it's always been hard for me.

Thats a lovely mindset to have! :) I've been diagnosed with aspergers for about 10 years now, half my life! At first I really hated it as it made me realised just why I was so different from everyone around me, but now I wouldn't get rid of it despite occasional downs as it makes me who I am!

I was just watching this video. I really did enjoyed it. I also too was diagnosed with Autism . I didn't even know I had it until I was diagnosed as an Adult. As a child . I had so much problem communicating and misunderstood by other people . My Parents and Teachers from Grade School couldn't even figured out what was wrong. Until my Doctor who has done a good job trying to figure out of what really the matter of what my symptoms was all about. Right now as an Adult. I am now employed with this Worldwide Courier Company as a part time double shifting Driver . I cannot qualify for full time. I tried to become one. But I failed the probation period twice due to my Autism. I believe that I'm the only one in this Company that has Autism. Life is really a struggle for someone with this type of disorder. I've been in that Theme Park . But that was a long time ago. I was thinking about visiting Disneyland California someday.
