Tips for DIAMOND SNIPERS! (Black Sky GRIND)

- Sniper camouflage challenges in Infinite Warfare are quite tedious. I wanted to take a moment to give some tips on how to make these challenges a little less... well... annoying. Don't worry about your K/D and make sure you have a lot of patience before heading into this challenge. Let me know what you did in order make these challenges less annoying. my tips for diamond snipers:
- Buy SEVERAL controllers (this is needed)
- Buy a punching bag
- don't go for them

when i went for this came in bo3, the knife took like 10 years from my life span haha
tvwatcher90 bro when I went for the knife in bo3 and IW I stopped and after I was finished doped like 132 kills double nuke
KARNAGE SLAYER yeah i know what you are saying, i would randomly pick up a weapon and get like 15 kil streak just from beeing so anoyed and into the game to get those kills with the knife, btw the hardest for me was the 5 kills 5 times

Prestige two major things that help out A TON with sniper headshots and just in general is Phantoms active camo payload and the jammer grenade!! I've learned this with my experience going for headshots and It makes things easier. No one really sees you with active camo in this game, it's incredibly overlooked since in wasn't the greatest in BO3. With active camo you could get that easy headshot against the enemy since they can't see you. You'll be so surprised with the amount of times you're in front of them with camo and they can't see you lol. But as for the jammer grenade, it slows the enemy and that gives you an opportunity to get that headshot too. Throwing them around corners and just everywhere is definitely a help also! Those two things helped me tremendously and I'm so happy I got Black Sky! Good luck with the rest of your grind prestige and good luck to everyone with the grind!
PS the Howitzer is the absolute worst gun in the game lol, it's so bad and probably as frustrating or more than those sniper headshots.

I recommend going for the DMR challenges in hardcore if you prefer a nonTDM game type but still want a easier time.
Another tip for people doing the longbow holding your breath challenge, use the rare variant if you have it and you get infinite hold breath duration
Berzerk Games not really necessary for this it's just if you aren't good at getting kills at the same time as activating hold breath I finished that in 2 matches

Infinity ward needs to make a sniper only mode as a featured playlist cuz im tired of getting mowed down by the fucking NV4 and Kbar 24/7

like I try to snipe but then I get irritated and I bring out the NV4 or the KBAR

They claim its balanced but nobody abuses the most balanced thing in COD lol
Evileyeddre NV4 is not Overpowered. It's a 4 shot kill at Point plank with a Slow fire rate I really don't see a nerf to this gun?
No gun will ever be as painful and BS as the Howitzer, not fun, not a good gun and not fair! Worst experience I have ever had in a CoD game

These variants have "presence of mind" perk, which lets you hold your breath forever. Makes headshots a lot easier.
The music tip is so good! I've listened to music the whole time and usually get so focused on the music that I don't rage
Exactly what I did lol
Prestige, I think a much better way to go about getting Black Sky is to go through each weapon class, do one, and then move on to the next weapon class. For example: NV4 for the ARs, FHR for the SMGs, Titan for the LMGs, Longbow for snipers, Reaver for shotguns, Kendall for pistols, and then come back around and do the Volk, etc, etc. This way you're not punishing yourself by playing with the same combat style going for the same challenges. I'm also waiting to do the Classics last since you don't unlock the last Classic till 9th Prestige. This way you get Solar first, and then start on the Classics for Black Sky. I'm also getting the S-Ravage last since shotguns are so quick to get Gold. Once I prestige that 9th time and get it, I'll have Black Sky in no time. I think you should do a video on it and spread the word to not punish yourself by doing one set of challenges at a time and instead do one of each and then come back around. Because of this, I honestly wasn't bothered by the sniper headshots at all.
Like so others can see and save them of the stress and pain.

another good tip: Every single time while you playing secondary weapon must be a Grenade Launceh or knife. And don't forget to use it to destroy srocestreaks
prestige, a little tip that helped making the howitzer less painful, is that when i was going for lmgs and shotties, i always had a howitzer as my backup because it was constantly giving 3 shots then i would die (it only has 3 shots and doesnt work with scavenger, but rewind gives u back all ur ammo). dont get me wrong but this camo will WRECK your kd. but tac tdm is amazing compared to core and hardcore for the howitzer. i just wanted to help you and the viewers a little bit

Already did snipers and can say these are solid tips.
I've mainly been playing TTDM, and I honestly wasn't that annoyed by the headshot challenges. I was usually getting 10+ headshots per game. I did the Longbow first, and at first getting the headshots was a bit difficult, but then they quickly became instinctive almost, and I was quickly able to get the rest. I have the Longbow, Widowmaker, and DMR-1 Gold, and I just need 49 more headshots with the EBR which I'm flying through in AR mode. My tips are just to be patient with those headshots. Don't rush kills, and some maps like Frontier down the hallway, Terminal, Mayday, and Skydock are great for headshots. I honestly don't like Terminal in IW, but it was a great map for getting headshots and longshots.
I didn't do like probably most do and go through each class of weapons individually like going through all the ARs and then moving on to the SMGs. I didn't want to do that because I knew I would get sick and tired of that style of play and doing those specific challenges over and over again. I did do that with the ARs, but I changed my direction after that. I basically went through each class and did each weapon. I currently have the ARs Diamond, LMGs, Diamond, and launchers Diamond, and I just need the ERAD to get the SMGs Diamond, the Banshee to get the shotguns Diamond, the EBR-800 of course, and the Oni to get Solar. I also decided to put off the Classic weapons until I got Solar because you don't unlock the last Classic until you reach 9th Prestige anyways. I'm also unlocking the S-Ravage last since the shotguns are super quick to get Gold for. I was literally getting Gold within an hour and a half for the shotguns. Since I'm waiting to use my last classic unlock token until after I prestige, I'll be able to get Black Sky quicker once I do reach that Prestige. I'm currently 6th Prestige, but I'm rank 52.
My problem with the Howitzer is that it's completely broken both statistically and coding-wise. It just doesn't register at all sometimes, and the DI kills won't always register. There's just no point in it being in the game because it can't take out infantry, it can't take out air, and it can barely take out ground SS. There's not a single reason to use it. In terms of taking out infantry, the P-LAW does a lot more splash damage and has the same ammo count, and it can also take out scorestreaks. The Spartan does a lot more damage, can take out infantry, and can take out SS. It just doesn't do anything good, and therefore has no point in being in the game. It's without a doubt the worst gun in CoD history. I ran a higher KD with the Combat Knife. I'm just glad the pain is over.
I have pistols, snipers and 2 launchers left. I may have to just keep pushing through it now. Thanks for the tips!

you don't need to worry about your k/d because you can quit the game and still complete the challenges

Prestige OMGOMGOMG I had the best supply drop opening today! I got $50 for msp for my bday and I chose to get supply drops. I managed to get 1.5k salvage and I bought the flatline. I also pulled a mark II mammoth, the banshee siren, a duplicate oni kaiken, a neversoft accessory, and a mark II kbar bunker buster!!!

The good thing black ops 3 did is they had an audible noise when you get I headshot. In IW, I am always checking the feed and for the medal to see if I got the headshot. Infinity ward should add some sort of noise for headshots. Doesn't matter to me what the noise is but it could help.

You can also get easy longshots with the scout scope on snipers. I use the widowmaker with a scout and get longshots all over the place.
i remember blops 3 changed the challenges for the drakon. it was originally headshots but changed to one shot kills. so maybe iw can change it.
shot guns were my favorite to get gold and it raised my kd cuz of the hip fire challenges I never aim down sights with shot guns
Snipers are my last primary for diamond then I'm going to do pistoles and rocket launchers been at it for like a month ( I have school) thanks for the tips but then again easier said then done

Snipers are pretty easy if you find good longshot spots to camp at. With the widowmaker aim at neck area and you'll get a headshot because of kick. Overall, Snipers were pretty fun for me to get Diamond, Howitzer was a pain because of the bug that made Impacts not register but that's patched now

I'm glad challenges are more difficult for camos, but supply drop camos, calling cards and emblems ruin the purpose of them.
Another tip Save up that salvage for that epic dmr 1 with that reflex

Snipers in this game are more of a grind than the lean kills in Ghosts. Btw the howitzer is also taking forever... I got a double direct impact with it one time and that's about as far as I got.
I didn't like black sky, so I went for Solar camo, at the start I had 2.5 kd and I finished the Solar with 1.6 kd. Now with the patch I'm going for Black Sky!

You can treat them like launchers and use them overkill while getting other guns diamond and go for snipes every so often

I used a howitzer once, I got a collateral, hit two player without exploding on my first shot

Forget that. I got dark matter in BO3 and that was hard enough. Now to do it again and have it take even longer and have a more difficult challenge...forget it. Not worth it IMO.
play hardcore Dom for howitzer they spam UAVs and wardens use rewind to get your rockets back howitzer was easy

Howitzer is a joke took me ages to get direct impact kills. Longshots were fine
can you make a class setup for the Oni Kiaken plz I really like that gun and I have it I just don't know a decent build for it weather it's stealth or rushing if you can plz make a video on both

I found sniper head shots alot easier than light machine guns and assault rifles, i don't play hardcore though so i cant cheese the headshots
200 kills + 200-250 or even 400 one shot kills, Why Not Its better Than 160 headshots

I got my first gold sniper yesterday. I played hard point cuz people are not always paying attention while running from adjectives. ttdm is good but u end up getting melted way to fast in my opinion. good luck to everyone going 4 dark sky it's a bitch
They need to change the headshots to something else. I NEVER though I'd had to get headshots with a sniper for a damn camo....I'm stuck between going for snipers now and wait for the other guns, or leave snipers for last...or not even go for snipers and just do all the other guns and just settle with diamond for everything aside from snipers

I dunno if I want to do this challenge...I got Dark Matter in BO3, and it didn't hurt my K/D at all. But Solar/Black Sky is an ENTIRELY different, much more menacing beast. And I really, don't want to throw my 1.7 K/D in the trash. It's the highest I've ever been able to manage in a COD game.

TheRisingEmboar I got solar, it was a pain, but i dont like using Classic weapons except the Intervention and MacTav, its worth the grind for solar minimum to be honest, Black Sky looks even better now

I cant play tac tdm! I LIVE IN SOUTH AFRICA every day I play with same people... Only game mode they play is hardcore moshpit so yay! I love doing challenges vir cammo but I would rather so snipers. Laast maybe they change things about the snipers well I hope so! Just try to hardscope on hardcore! And try to aim for head
