I grew up in Atlanta, and in the mid 2000's my dad's work took us to Chatsworth, and then Dalton, I'm currently on a different continent and I'm really missing my beautiful state of Georgia.
Georgia is a beautiful place to be! That is why I moved back after being out west for a number for almost 10 years. Once a Georgian, always a Georgian and we hope to have you back soon, bit it moving back or visiting. Where are you at now? I hope you are doing well!
I'm a Dalton native and still live here. In the 80s, Dalton was a nice town ... but not so much anymore. Even the carpet mill bigwigs live outside of town, and that's saying something. I stay because I'm on SSDI for kidney failure and it's all I can afford. It does have most everything I need nearby, so that's nice.
@@OrangeBurgerSC706 it’s not that bad as she says it is. i currently live here in dalton and have been my whole life since 02 it’s a really nice place not a lot of crime goes on around here pretty decent place to live in .
@@flock8771 what about the pollution though, I did Google the conasauga and unfortunately it seems to be in similar condition to the Savannah but with some kind of weird carpet run-off in the water.
I'll sum it up as good as I can. Dalton : Not much to do, lots of meth, less likely to get shot. Chattanooga: Alot to do , WAY more likely to get shot.
Los Reyes is a great place to get a bite! Dalton has a ton to offer and I could only give a small sample of the restaurants in this map tour but I am producing another video tour of Dalton, so stay tuned for when it is released!
I just moved here 2 days ago and already experienced Racist people its 2021 people if u dont like Hispanics in your town get over it already we here to stay
I'm so sorry that happened to you, especially right after moving into Dalton. Unfortunately there are people like that across the country. I am happy you were able to find a place in Dalton! I hope as you live and explore Dalton and Northwest Ga you are able to have great experiences and call it home.
If someone doesn't like Hispanics they don't need to live in Dalton because the city is like 70 percent Hispanic yup that's 7 out of every 10 people and the Hispanics really started to come to town in the mid 90s and now they are the majority.
@@OrangeBurgerSC706 yes it’s literally mostly hispanics so i dont find how she ran into a racist i’ve lived here since 02 and haven’t had anything racist happen since middle school i hardly find racists here

I did vlogs at Baja Coop and Cherokee Brewing Company. Great food and great service! Plus at Baja Coop get the jambalaya chicken wings!
Jambalaya Chicken Wings sounds amazing! I'll have to try that next time i swing by the Baja Coop.

Hello Chris
Live there in my entire life don’t move there
🤣🤣🤣
Dont move there. I lived there 3 years. It used to be a great city, but not anymore.
Wat about los Reyes Mexican food

Living in Northwest Georgia MMMMM THT PLASE IS STRAIGHT BUSSIN
atlanta is like 3 hrs from dalton
It can seem that way, especially with Atlanta traffic! Thankfully though, it is only 1 hour and 25 min drive
Doltn or Dalton?
Depends who you talk to I guess. lol Either way you say it, its a great place to live and visit.

Isn't Dalton majority Hispanic? It's weird that you would encounter racism there even if there are boomers around
My condolences though
