Just found your channel, love your presentation. We are so excited about Vista in a few weeks & have heard some less positive reviews about the food. Hearing your reviews makes us so happy. Loved the wine pairing tasting lunch, an extra charge, do you remember how much? We will watch more of your videos now we’ve found you.
Forgot to mention: probably the most popular specialty dish no just in Red Ginger but on Oceania is its Miso Glazed Sea Bass. Have had it maybe 40 times. Not enough either. When we were on the Vista last year and recovering from an unexpected bout of Covid with a 5 day isolation in our cabin was unlimited room service. First thing I asked for was this meal. Also used this time to more fully explore Ember’s menu. Looking forward to bringing back onboard in September.
Did you guys happen to notice how someone with a dietary need was accommodated? I have Celiac disease and although they are reassuring me I will be taken care of, they are not providing any specifics at all. My biggest worry is that everyone will be served these superb dishes and I will get "plain steak, no sauce" or "hamburger, no bun, no fries."
Great question! Honestly since we don’t have restrictions ourselves it’s not something we generally pay attention to, BUT I know generally cruise lines are accommodating. If it was me, I’d go to guest services the first day and ask how your diet can be accommodated and they should be more than happy to assist. I hear you about not wanting boring options! I think you may be able to request to see the menus the day before so you can make sure in advance there’s something that will work for you. Happy cruising! ~Heidi
Please remember to SUBSCRIBE to our channel! ~ Are you inspired to take a Vista cruise and enjoy all of the ship's fine dining options?
Finally the man behind the narration , you have a fun great voice
Aww thanks so much! I hope to be in front of the camera more often in the future...

Yay thanks for watching! If memory serves it was $99pp for the sommelier lunch. So worth it.
I don't know how I missed this 3 months ago. I love Oceania and I gained 5 lbs just watching.
Haha yup, glad you enjoyed it!

The fabulous Red Ginger restaurant is also on one of the four Oceania smaller R-Class ships, the Sirena.
Yes, that's right, thanks...
How timely. I just booked on the Vista a half hour ago, and food is a primary reason I chose it.
