Taking fenders off doesn't make it less a scooter.Taking the fenders off (Especially the back) Just means a water soaked back if you're driving on streets that wet.I have a Gen1 and am getting a GenV specifically for fenders for if I am caught out in the rain,And the 14" wheels(Gen1 had 12),Single side arm,upgraded headlights and speedo.
Your gonna get wet in the rain anyways lol

These a cold asf man. Planning on getting me a gen V soon. Only I'm gunna go with the 50cc version because it's cheaper and I don't have to worry about insurance. I can always 150 swap it down the road and still keep it registered as 50cc 😉

I ordered the universal wheel hub to add a 12x8 wheel. I'm currently looking for nice wheels. I have a few more ideas just gotta get some time.
Nice! Can you register this as a 50cc moped? I mean can DMV scan and pull the hp/cc info from the VIN?
It comes with a title that says it's 150cc. Not sure how but maybe you could. Lol

Yes a few people have them in Fayetteville NC with plates. Now the speed limit is slow as shit though, 35 mph min and 55 mph Max just about everywhere. I'm going to get me one just because why the hell not.

I would throw air suspension on it, and paint it, change out the rims and add a good LED light for the front I heard the front lights aren’t that bright.
Are those the stock tires that come with it? These tires look bigger than the tires on other gen V videos I've seen?

The gen 5 comes with big tires that look like old motorcycle tires. Not very appealing. I added my own loo.

Hammering the throttle is doing nothing but hurting the engine and clutch. The scooter has a high rev limiter (that you do not really want to replace). And as you see here is not picking up more speed due to highly revving it at all. Apparently he has not noticed that yet. lol ... easy! easy!

Belmont bikes you can click on klarna at check out and pay $109 a month for 24 months that's what I did for my Gen 5

No doubt a great looking bike, Chinese built, the issues with these bikes is all the mechanical problems I have seen on-line with them; poor idle, often hard to start, parts that are loose. Assembly issues with front axel. Trans sprokets the break, etc.
It's common when most times the owner has to assemble or an untrained technician at a local scooter store. Add the cheap parts and you have even more issies. Good thing is you can always use Ruckus parts to make it somewhat more solid.
@@Cacique809 Here in Chicago we see these issues all the time, most problem bikes are internet bought and amateur assembled. We rarely ever see drivetrain issues that are component failure, just improper installation. Removing that exhaust baffle on the Gen V Maddogs and playing with the idle screw a bit helps a lot with rough idle situations. We assemble all of our bikes we sell and test them first, catches a lot of problems out.
They're a boatload of fun and with the gas prices now it's a steal. I've cracked a stock one over 65mph so they're no slouch.

@@SheikhN-bible-syndrome I’ll take your word for it…doesn’t have “sails” (fairings) I’d get a bigger bike I still ride my buddy in Massachusetts but for spirited rides it’s best under 4mph wind with or without little gusts.

Just dont ride it on a rainy day or hit any puddles cause you will get a line of grit and water all over your back and all over the front of the bike without the them
