I have a GMC 3/4 ton with the same motor and transmission. I alway tow 10,000 pounds plus the truck weighs over 7,000 pounds. That motor/transmission combo is fantastic. You will never be lacking for power even if you add 3,000 pounds of goodies. I'm not so certain how it would be towing 15,000 pounds.
Thank you for the video. Wow, I don’t remember seeing a super c on a Silverado chassis. That’s like number one. It’s so much easier to transition to the rear. The price point is excellent and towing capacity is fantastic. Personally, and as a long time RV’er, I’d lose the washer dryer. You need the closet for storage and possibly a small redesign to get a better toilet spacing. You use the bathroom more than the washer/dryer. Thanks to Matt, Andrea,and Dave for another great video and thanks to NEXUS for this C . A great vehicle in a reasonable price point.
I like this Super C. Dave Middleton did a great job! I like the fact this has a stackable washer/dryer hook up for as small as it us. I love the amount of storage it has. Glad they have storage in the dinette. I love the price too! Can’t beat that. Thank you Matt and Andrea and Dave! Great job!

I did not see any cloths closet in the master bedroom. I guess you would have to put your cloths in the cabinet. That gives you the option for the stackable washer and dryer. There are more positive things, that would over ride the cloths situation. Love the Chev diesel 6.6 engine, Allison tranny, rear air suspension. The cargo carrying capacity is wonderful. The towing capacity is fantastic. The interior colors, yes finally; great colors. Both the sofa and dinette. Great. We are a family that primary camps in National Parks, and 28’ opens up some many more older parks. Thank you so much for taking your time to make this video. I give this RV a 10 plus top of the line rating. Wow what a beautiful motor home. ❤
I LOVE everything about this! The mattress at least drops on the lower half of the bed frame- which DOES allow napping on the bed w/o the slide being out. Matt - you need to get a "squatty-potty" - it IS the "Prime pooping position!" LOVE 💘
I love my squatty potty. 😂 I was actually thinking if he was able to lift his foot on the shower edge, it might actually benefit him since it’s half a squatty potty!
Very nice RV. Wish the sink was larger and a nautilus squeegee shower door was used instead of glass. Maybe a shorter toilet since it’s on a pedestal to assist your shorter clientele. Can we see what it’s like with slide outs in for times that you boon-dock.
Definitely not a bad floorplan for the size of the rig. We aren't a fan of the folding mattress, but like that you can have stackable washer dryer option. TV position could be better as well. If it articulated DOWN vertically that would be much better. Overall it's great to see a smaller super c hitting the market again!
Like the Chevy chassis , diesel engine, made in the USA , like everything for the potential price. But I might need the 30 footer to address the find up bed. I also think it needs reclining sears wirh cup holders and the tv should be across from the chairs. But nice job ! Think I’ll wait for the 30
This is a beautiful RV. The three things I don't like are 1) no drawers in the dinette 2) no slides or layers in the pantry, very tall and could use some shorter shelves. 3) No window in the bunk!! I get so disappointed when there is no window in the bunk. You can already feel closed in so windows are great, even if the window is one side. I realize they are trying to cut costs, but at least one window in the bunk is important. Three things I love, 1) the shelves next to the dinette, 2) the couch, would have liked to see it opened 3) nice kitchen. Matt & Andrea, Can you please mention how many seatbelts are in these RV's? For example, this RV can sleep 6-8 people, but how many seatbelts??? That is such an important detail. Thank you so much! I love your videos! ♥

I think as a comparison you should tour the model up to see the differences in the bathroom and bedroom, unless you like doing the Macarena when you gotta go! But on the whole, it looks well made and very comfortable.
Wow, what potential! I think the wife would like the 30S floorplan best as we need slightly more kitchen space and clothing storage. We would have gone for the Rebel 35R except that the top bunk of the dual bunk space does not lift up to hang clothes for those 6-month-long RV trips. The 32S looks to have the smaller kitchen again so the 30S may be the Sweet Spot!!!???
This is one of the best priced super C I have ever seen with everything.. man I wish the bathroom had some kind of slide or something to make it bigger.
I saw this RV at the Hershey show. I like the chassis and towing capacity. I looked very hard at getting this as I’m towing 8,500 lbs. I ended up ordering the 32ft version because the layout is that much better. It took care of every issue I had with the 28 ft version. Issues I had. 1. Basically no storage in the bedroom 2. My legs hit the wall while on the toilet 3. No sliders on the pantry. ( bigger version doesn’t fix this) 4. Not a ton of underneath storage. (Bigger version doesn’t fix that either) 5. I like the larger single sink that comes in other units. I ordered that. Overall this was a nice unit and the best value. I was looking for a super C that could tow at least 12,000 lbs. this unit is by far the cheapest unit that could.
I forgot to also mention the Dave sold me on Nexus! He seems so genuine and excited about the product. Some of the manufacturer videos I watch from other brands seem SO artificial. It’s hard to watch. I love his vibe! This whole Dave, Matt, Andrea team vibe. It’s great.
I think an extention for the counter top would've been nice. It's kind of a small counter. I dont like the foldable bed, either. I would like to be able to sleep on the bed without the slide out. I love the pantry is prepped for a stackable washer/dryer!! Instead of a couch, maybe theater seats? Kind of dissapointed that the over the cab bed holds only 350lbs (i think that's what it was). Was hoping for at least 500lbs. I love everything else about it. It is certainly the right size, for me!
I alway enjoy when you're at Nexus. Dave Middleton is always so energetic about his products that it motivates me to see more. This 28 footer is a very nice layout, but my wife insists on not having to put out the slide to use the bed. So that box is not checked for her. I prefer a Ford chassis, but also would buy a chevy as long as the glitch with the cab A/C has been fixed from previous 1500 and 2500 chassis that I have experienced with my work vehicals. That's a nice Super C but I get hung up on a Dometic frig. in a MSRP unit of $239,000. The washer dryer outstanding! I've had 2 rv's with them and will never have another without them. Hope that mattress is comfortable.
These will be attainable for around $150K, some as low as $131K. If you were wondering. The non functional bed is a deal breaker and I cant wait to see the other larger floor plans
It looks great for 28'. 👍 Like the diesel engine, Chevy chassis, air ride, leveling and solar. Only thing missing is storage for clothing if you get a washer/dryer in it, no closet to hang a coat, shirts or dresses/skirts. The storage above the headboard is your extra clothing space, limited on that. I guess you would have the bunk for towels and clothing. Every thing else looks great. We are wondering if there will be an option for cloth seating in dinette and sofa, as well as the driver's and passenger's seats... 🤔

I like that it has a huge super slide that has a queen bed ,booth dinette, a couch, an stackable washer and dryer. Does the 8000 watt onan generator run on propane or diesel fuel? The bunk over the cab has great head room. The fact that I drove a 18 wheeler for several years,,I can appreciate the space of that bunk. I wish the bathroom had a little more space but it is what it is. They knocked it out of the park with this unit, thank yall for showing us this unit an giving us all the information on it . Three things I like: 1) White exterior paint. It's a nice throwback, and more manufacturers should consider it. This is beautiful. It should be an option on every rig. 2) Washer-dryer in the rig. And it's "only" a 28-foot rig. I would put the Splendide combo unit in it to maximize storage space. 3) Chevy chassis and front sheet metal. Got a problem? Take it to your Chevy dealer for that part of the warranty work. Plus it has serious towing capacity. Three things I would like to see improved: 1) Looks like the DEF tank fill is on the right side. Should be on the left, as it's more truck-stop friendly. 2) The bed. Not usable in a truck stop or rest stop overnight. 3) The toilet. I'm tall, but that looks awkward even for me.
Wardrobe/washerdryer/ pantry. Where do you put clothing? Rear wall could use a wardrobe perhaps against the shower wall without walk-around or above the half-foot back bedside stand. Who needs Ford anyway
I REALLY like this one. I am from Utah, so I LOVE state park friendly RV’s… However, what good is a stacking washer and dryer if it takes the only real storage place for your clothes. Unless I missed something! I’m actually watching while I’m working so I could have! 😅 I love the color scheme, those balances are really cool. I like the storage under the sink. That’s different and definitely more user friendly. I love the outdoor storage spaces too! My complaint would be…. I got none. Because I wouldn’t get a stacker/washer and have the storage instead!! 😆
Yes that is the only large storage. I saw it at the Hershey show.. There are many cabinets but no under bed or dinette storage.- If its for a week long trip it is definitely doable. Longer then that I think it would be hard pressed. The bed is rock hard and I found no alternative bedding for it. I too wasnt big on not having a bed to sleep while traveling if doing a quick stop in route to a location. Overall it was nice just not the right set up for me but they made the most out of the space they had.
Nice to have another option in the super c category. Likes: exterior paint, solar, pass thru storage, ccc, light colored cabinets, oven, pantry, Dislikes: Queen bed Prefer King), only one bath, tv position, no theater seating, toilet on pedestal (?), no tv in bedroom. was there a tv outside? We've never had an issue with our 32.5 feet rv in state parks.
Love the towing capability in it. Toilet should have been on a angle and somehow not 6-7 inches in the air. What’s the water and waste holding capacity? It wasn’t on the list.
Great floor plan for sure !! Love the colors and like that they are keeping the price down with the more simple paint job . Do not like the folding bed but they have no choice to fit everything in the unit , I do like to have that little table on each side as I do not want my face up against the wall but the cut out on one side fixes that . I am glad they are going to put the drawers back into the dinette as that is wonderful extra storage ! Overall a great RV we put on our list of RVs to check out !!
What a good unit with some very important basic features, like: - the larger Chevrolet chassis with a DIESEL (yes!!!) chassis; - bright and open interior - my wife dislikes all the 'dark wood from the 70s' that is found in many of the RVs around these days; - the overall length and weight, two big factors in driving comfort, especially when coupled with that DIESEL (yes !!!) engine. The slide out thing is a whole separate web-forum issue. If everyone in your RV campground helps, I'm sure you can push it in when (not if) it gets stuck. Not sure; haven't had one. When we (just my wife and I and our dog) looked at all of the above it took us to the nuCamp Cirrus (arguably the first with a lighter colour interior) truck camper with a GMC 3500 DIESEL (yes !!!). Half the MSRP and we have a truck when not using the Camper. Watch out for the person who is trying to Hack the comments.

I love the European Rv, they are always innovating the floor plan, here you get same year after year, change from brown to gray form oak color cabinets to white, that's it always the same, I can only imagine what the Europeans can do with this "BiG BOX""
For shorter vacations this is ideal. I’m going to wait for the larger ones to come out purely for more storage and hopefully a larger bathroom. The bed situation is not ideal but I’ll wait until I see the slightly larger models before I decide on the possibilities. Personally I’d like to see fire extinguishers 🧯 and carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors throughout. No TV in the bedroom and no washing machine was disappointing after hearing it was included. Thank you for the tour despite my thoughts and concerns.
Death Valley NationL had a 30 ft limit sign but you are good at 35 ft for almost all parks. A few parks have height limits of 13 feet. Just something to be aware when making reservations.

I don't mind not having the full body paint. Looks good for me, I don't need all that fancy stuff. Just looks too busy for me sometimes. I would want mine without all those decals on it but the potential for them to peel. Just paint it all one solid silver or gray color. Not white. Shows the dirt too much. I too like the interior decor. I need a double basin sink. Allows you to utilize less water while cleaning dishes properly. You need shelves in the small pantry cabinet. I would be utilizing the large Pantry for washer and dryer for sure. I'm with Matt. Need a room on the toilet. Also looks like the toilet is too high. I'll have to check out their web page and see what the floor plan looks like on the next size up.
Love the washer/dryer hook ups. I dislike that there is no storage yet under the banquet and there fact that there are no side/360 degree cameras. I will need to wait until they can roll those features out.

I believe they turned down the power a lot on the 4500/5500 chassis versus the 2500/3500. So you might want to have some work done on it before you hook up a big trailer.

Three things I like: 1) White exterior paint. It's a nice throwback, and more manufacturers should consider it. This is beautiful. It should be an option on every rig. 2) Washer-dryer in the rig. And it's "only" a 28-foot rig. I would put the Splendide combo unit in it to maximize storage space. 3) Chevy chassis and front sheet metal. Got a problem? Take it to your Chevy dealer for that part of the warranty work. Plus it has serious towing capacity.
Three things I would like to see improved: 1) Looks like the DEF tank fill is on the right side. Should be on the left, as it's more truck-stop friendly. 2) The bed. Not usable in a truck stop or rest stop overnight. 3) The toilet. I'm tall, but that looks awkward even for me.

Wardrobe/washerdryer/ pantry. Where do you put clothing? Rear wall could use a wardrobe perhaps against the shower wall without walk-around or above the half-foot back bedside stand. Who needs Ford anyway

I REALLY like this one. I am from Utah, so I LOVE state park friendly RV’s… However, what good is a stacking washer and dryer if it takes the only real storage place for your clothes. Unless I missed something! I’m actually watching while I’m working so I could have! 😅 I love the color scheme, those balances are really cool. I like the storage under the sink. That’s different and definitely more user friendly. I love the outdoor storage spaces too! My complaint would be…. I got none. Because I wouldn’t get a stacker/washer and have the storage instead!! 😆
Yes that is the only large storage. I saw it at the Hershey show.. There are many cabinets but no under bed or dinette storage.- If its for a week long trip it is definitely doable. Longer then that I think it would be hard pressed. The bed is rock hard and I found no alternative bedding for it. I too wasnt big on not having a bed to sleep while traveling if doing a quick stop in route to a location. Overall it was nice just not the right set up for me but they made the most out of the space they had.

Nice to have another option in the super c category. Likes: exterior paint, solar, pass thru storage, ccc, light colored cabinets, oven, pantry, Dislikes: Queen bed Prefer King), only one bath, tv position, no theater seating, toilet on pedestal (?), no tv in bedroom. was there a tv outside? We've never had an issue with our 32.5 feet rv in state parks.
Can you upgrade to 6500 chassis, is the transmission 6 or 10 speed
Love the towing capability in it. Toilet should have been on a angle and somehow not 6-7 inches in the air. What’s the water and waste holding capacity? It wasn’t on the list.
Great floor plan for sure !! Love the colors and like that they are keeping the price down with the more simple paint job .
Do not like the folding bed but they have no choice to fit everything in the unit , I do like to have that little table on each side as I do not want my face up against the wall but the cut out on one side fixes that .
I am glad they are going to put the drawers back into the dinette as that is wonderful extra storage ! Overall a great RV we put on our list of RVs to check out !!

What a good unit with some very important basic features, like:
- the larger Chevrolet chassis with a DIESEL (yes!!!) chassis;
- bright and open interior - my wife dislikes all the 'dark wood from the 70s' that is found in many of the RVs around these days;
- the overall length and weight, two big factors in driving comfort, especially when coupled with that DIESEL (yes !!!) engine.
The slide out thing is a whole separate web-forum issue. If everyone in your RV campground helps, I'm sure you can push it in when (not if) it gets stuck. Not sure; haven't had one.
When we (just my wife and I and our dog) looked at all of the above it took us to the nuCamp Cirrus (arguably the first with a lighter colour interior) truck camper with a GMC 3500 DIESEL (yes !!!). Half the MSRP and we have a truck when not using the Camper.
Watch out for the person who is trying to Hack the comments.

Our 2018 phantom does not have springs on dinette. Fabric covering on couch and dinette seating did not hold up a year.
I'd try to eliminate the slide, I hate those, and you were nice on the dislikes! All good!

I love the European Rv, they are always innovating the floor plan, here you get same year after year, change from brown to gray form oak color cabinets to white, that's it always the same, I can only imagine what the Europeans can do with this "BiG BOX""

For shorter vacations this is ideal. I’m going to wait for the larger ones to come out purely for more storage and hopefully a larger bathroom. The bed situation is not ideal but I’ll wait until I see the slightly larger models before I decide on the possibilities.
Personally I’d like to see fire extinguishers 🧯 and carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors throughout. No TV in the bedroom and no washing machine was disappointing after hearing it was included.

What is the difference between a "state and national park" models? Our Class C is almost 35' long...and have never had an issue at any of them?!
Death Valley NationL had a 30 ft limit sign but you are good at 35 ft for almost all parks. A few parks have height limits of 13 feet. Just something to be aware when making reservations.
A lot of the older state parks in CA have a 30 foot limit. They won't even allow you in some of you are 31'

Sometimes it’s harder to get a spot for anything over 30 ft.it depends on how many spots they have for the big rvs and how long the wait is

Need grey furniture and a bunk over the cab! Then you bring us a Dang on GM Motor!! My husband swears by GM products! We actually own a 2017 Cadillac ST5 and a 2019 Yukon XL! I like the floor plan. I like auto level great for solo female. I love that the doors outside open sideways. Older women don't do knees very well. LOL

I don't mind not having the full body paint. Looks good for me, I don't need all that fancy stuff. Just looks too busy for me sometimes. I would want mine without all those decals on it but the potential for them to peel. Just paint it all one solid silver or gray color. Not white. Shows the dirt too much. I too like the interior decor. I need a double basin sink. Allows you to utilize less water while cleaning dishes properly. You need shelves in the small pantry cabinet. I would be utilizing the large Pantry for washer and dryer for sure. I'm with Matt. Need a room on the toilet. Also looks like the toilet is too high. I'll have to check out their web page and see what the floor plan looks like on the next size up.
Love the washer/dryer hook ups. I dislike that there is no storage yet under the banquet and there fact that there are no side/360 degree cameras. I will need to wait until they can roll those features out.

I believe they turned down the power a lot on the 4500/5500 chassis versus the 2500/3500. So you might want to have some work done on it before you hook up a big trailer.
