    If your a tea person try watermelon, cucumber, and mint tea. It’s a cold brew one. Uhhh it’s so amazing. I don’t really like mint but it’s so subtle in it that it just taste so yummy and refreshing all of it together. 🍉🥒

    Growing up my mom used to do this but she would set it outside in the sun and we called it “sun tea!” My friends thought it was weird but I love it… especially with a nice squeeze of lemon in the summertime!
    Edit: I just read the comments and seeing that a bunch of other people had this growing up made my heart super happy ❤

    When I was a kid my mom would make "sun tea"! It's not quite cold brew because you put the pitcher in the sun to brew for an hour or so. But there's something extra refreshing about it!

      I've used Lipton tea bags. Lipton green tea bags only. In a gallon of water I put four tea bags. As it brews in sun you will see the tree darken. Taste. If you want it stronger add another bag. If you want it weaker, use less bags next time.. or add water to your single glass. I hope this helps. 😊

    I like to make sun tea in the summer, you use a clear pitcher or glass jar and put cold water with the tea bags and set it out in the sun until it's done brewing. On really hot days it can take only an hour or so. Just wondering what type of tea you used for this video??

      @@TheAvgWoman I've done it with a cap or with cheese cloth tied over the top. Either way works, I used an old pickle jar so the lid was not clear

      You can choose any one you want.
      It's huge in taiwan and you can buy what looks like water bottles with tea bags inside and it's so refreshing especially in the summer. It tastes less harsh than hot tea.

    try using loose leaf tea 🥰🥰 tea bags are bleached and can be extremely unhealthy for you :(( looks so yummy tho!!

    This is how I get some of my picky eater's nutrients in. I add mint leaves, slices of ginger, lemon or lime n diff herbal teas. Let everything steep and walah! She just thinks she drinking juice🥰❤️

    Don't put the paper tags in the tea water, that can be really bad for you. You can easily remove them or just let them hang on the outside.

    Yes, but I usually just throw a handful of cheap tea bags in a pitcher, fill with water, put it in the fridge and call it a day. Then the next day I remove the tea bags with a fork, add some sugar, mix until dissolved. I'm sure I have committed several crimes against teamanity but...well I'm cheap and lazy. If I'm feeling adventurous I will get some fake lemonade and make half and quarter.

    My grama taught me how to make ice tea she always boils the water first like regular tea and let's it cool down before putting in the fridge this way you get the most out of your tea bags and don't waste any

    I like the idea of putting the lemon over the ice before you pour the tea! I drink iced tea often and will try this, I bet it better mixes the lemon into the drink.

    If you want stronger cold tea with a smooth flavor, brew hot tea with mint and add a pinch of baking soda, it removes the taste of tannins. Then chill with ice. Also, try adding a couple of drops of bergamot oil, then you have Earl Grey tea.

    Please do this only with tea that is meant to be used with cold water. No matter how carefully the tea is processed, tea is made from plants and can contain spores, germs, yeast, etc. Please prepare with boiling water and let it sit for 5 to 10minutes to get a safe to drink beverage.
