One friday after work i walked out to my car to find it covered in crows. My car was the only one they were on. it gave me an uneasy feeling. I went to visit my grandmother who was in hospice at the time. She passed on that Sunday. I'm so glad i went to see her. I really think the crows were bringing me a message. thank you for your shows I am greatly enjoying them. Blessed be.
This reminds me of the day my parents house was ransacked. That day I was at a funeral doing some duties and a magpie came and landed next to me and was speaking to me. I knew something was up. When I went back home alone and passed my folks home and something said to me don't go in. I think if I had gone in at that moment I may have confronted them. It was not a nice event in my life, but it was amazing to develop this connection into the animal kingdom ☆♡☆;
Magpies, jackdaws, jays and rooks are also magickal members of the Corvidae family...all exceptionally clever, creative and linked with supernatural properties in myths. They often end up as tricksters in native cultures, bridging the gap between needful humans and the skydwellers.Fabulous birds and a marvelous addition to your series! Thanks so much,Bright Blessings to you!
I resisted accepting Raven as my totem for so many years, but recently I had the deep honor of helping someone cross the veil. My hand was on her belly as I sang and she drew her last breath. Raven definitely flies between the worlds with grace and humor. Not only do they fly souls away to the next adventure, but they fly them into this one. It was only by accepting Raven as a guide that I was able to be of greatest service to this dying lady, bringing humor and truth and even a little beauty to the process leading up to her death among friends. Raven is all about the realness of this life, the good, the unpleasant, and the magical. Thank you for your kind perspevtive on these glorious underdogs of the avian kingdom. I do hope that you can come to Faerieworlds in the US sometime! You would be made most welcome :)
Raven is my totem. In Pacific Northwest Native American belief, Raven is both a trickster and a hero. It was Raven that returned the sun/light to people and saved them from the darkness (and that's how his feathers were turned black). When I was in college, a raven used to land and walk with me part of the way home. Nowadays, my apartment is usually surrounded by ravens during the day. I hear them outside every morning and they're all over the place when I go outside. I'm also very fond of crow, magpie and other blackbirds. I really enjoyed your video. Wendy
I watched this with interest. I live in a busy area and don't see many birds around my home, but recently have noticed the arrival of quite a few crows. I find it quite comforting to hear or see them and so feel some sort of connection to this animal. Thanks for uploading.
Thank you for this very informative introduction to crows! I’m highly sensitive and clairvoyant and recently a crow appeared to me. I have been struggling with trying to understand that side of myself and now watching this is feels like I’ve got the crows on my side! 💙
Fascinating! Thank you! I came to this video, following from the Wolf video, and again I'm seeing the same connections. Apollo (a deity I had a strong connection to in my teens), then later Odin. Interesting what you said about The Morrigan, as Odin was a deity whom the Norsemen prayed to for favour in battle, and I believe that the Ravens of the All-father were often seen on the battlefield; picking over the fallen. (perhaps helping to choose warriors for Valhalla, though that's more a personal intuition of my own.) Also, Odin is credited with the discovery of the Runes (a system I study and read a lot) and is a god associated with prophecy, just like The Morrigan. xxx
I had a good chuckle when you mentioned that our beloved birds even eat croissants! I was at the Grand Canyon this past September 30 for my 51st birthday and had leftover scraps of croissant in the car. I sat on a rock and a Raven sat next to me and I fed him from my hand!!! Crow/Raven are my totem and they've been following me around for years! What a magical birthday that was for me! 💫💖
Hi Laura, What I really love about this video is that you discuss the facts about the bird and what they truly are to dispel fear about them. I too have witnessed the same things you describe and some very mystical moments as well.:) I used to be a wildlife rehabilitator and learned that bread is not good for them(no nutrition). Cheap dry dog food has a good source of meat and grain protein. (cat food is too high in protein). Thank you for sharing this video:)
this video was very nice! and good timing too... about 2 weeks ago i was in Florida and i believe the first day i was there i walked out of the house and there had to been upwards of a 100 crows sitting in the tree that was in my backyard, and the tree next to it. i thought this to be a sign but i did not know what! through the week there were some around, and once when we were sitting outside under the tree many of them flew around and gathered..and when we left we saw some of them leaving.
I adore crows and ravens...just this morning, a crow (or raven) flew alongside our car for about 30-seconds while we were driving (~25-mph) to school (and I swear it was looking right at me); it then flew directly over our car. Luckily, I couldn't hear whether or not it was cawing...but to me it was a blessing because I really resonate with these magnificent beings!!! ;-)
About 3-4 weeks ago I saw a group of Crows in my front yard, then not long after I saw a group of them across the street, and later that day in another part of town... Prior to all that I don't think I'd seen any of them since moving to Utah around 18 years ago... Since seeing them in town I've been seeing them all over the internet... Thank you for your video...
My father found a baby crow on the ground with a broken foot. My dad raised it. He was defiantly a 1 person bird It loved my dad and would ride on his hand sometimes I could pet him. When the crow was full grown his foot was better but was still bent but he could function just fine. He was kept outside in a large cage hanging in a tree. After a while dad left the cage door open so that he could leave for a long time he would not or would come back to the cage finally joined a group of crows
I was given my witch name in a dream. I couldn't be clear whether I was told 'Snow Crow' or 'Snow Crone'. As Snow Crone tickles my sense of humour because it sounds like Snow Cone, I chose to go with that, but hearing your description of the crow and things it stands for (particularly the myth that it was once white) I'm beginning to wonder if I made the correct name choice. xx
Thanks for the great video! This really helped me clarify a few things in my search if the Crow/Raven is my totem animal. I've always been fixated about crows and they are often drawn to me. I love how you included the Australian Aboriginal. I am from Australia so it was familiar. Once, when I was in Japan I was at Saga Castle. There was no wildlife around and this big, hooked beaked crow landed in the tree above me and just watched me for ages. It was something I have always remembered.
Incredible. This is the only totem animal of mine I know about. I loved this video! Also, in Gaul there is this goddess, "Catubodua", counterpart to Morrigan in general and specifically to Badb Catha, since both names mean "Battle Crow". Also, the goddess of Nature and Earth, Nantosuelta, wife of Sucellus, believed to be the continental Dagda, is related to the Underworld and Nature at the same time (which reminds me of Persephone) since she's connected to crows. Many blessings
Aah, this was awesome, thank you once again, Laura! ♥ And I just wanted to tell you that your pronunciation of Hugin and Munin was as close to perfect as it gets! ;oD Much love and blessings ♥
It's nice to find someone who actually speaks truth and not like a wannabe know-it-all. Oh, and the raven isn't really a loner. A pair will stay together their whole life. :) Also, the call of a raven is the most beautiful sound to my ears.. it pierces right into my soul.
Thank you for this video, very informative, I have always loved crows! Though I had a different visitor one day from a magpie, I live on a boat and it landed feet away from me in what we call the cratch area of the boat! When I turned to see what the noise was, it quickly flew away! Don't know if this meant anything?
I just saw one fly by and it only cooed a couple of times. To me, they have always been a sign of danger and this one was in same flight path as only a few jets are allowed. Thanks
for a long time i thought it was because i was a child, but to this day i am not afraid. i used to have dreams of me standing in a golden wheat field on a hill looking at the clouds and a Raven was perched on my shoulder.
Throughout the year here there is a balance. Part of the year crows gang up on the large red tail and red shoulder hawks, harassing them to no end and sometimes to death. then comes the time when smaller, more swifter Cooper's and Sharp shinned Hawks come in. Hunting on the wing, they thin out the crows. One second the crow is flying and the next second, there is a lightning fast grayish brown streak and slowly falling black feathers landing on the ground around a dead crow.
I loved this video. I am very, very drawn to crows and ravens. I would love to be able to call crows to me. Is there such a way to do this? I would love for them to come to me so I can pet them and speak to them.
I've heard of crows dropping nuts over zebra crossings and waiting for the cars to crack them, then they collect the nuts when cars wait and people cross :) clever and interesting birds
Once I went for a walk to the graveyard and a crow was above me and I didn't sense any fear energy from it, I was actually laughing because the crow was making weird noises lol and now whenever I go to the same graveyard there's a crow there, I wonder if it's the same crow every time.
The facial recognition of people with the crow has been proven by John Marzloff at the University Washington study.I believe they have a memory span of up to five years maybe more.
Never knew what that meant but or if it even does mean any thing but it would bring me back to that memory. :) Thank you for making this video so much and Blessed Be )O(
Laura Daligan, You really need to turn the volume up on your end of the video. We can adjust it on our end, but can't make it louder. Just thought you would like to know it's hard to hear you.
last time i cast a circle and did some candlemagic i noticed a crow sitting in front of my window in the tree..its a tree birds usually never use at least i hardly see any there. Since then i've been seeing it sitting there a lot mostly in evening times..even in the rain and always on the same spot but there is no nest or anything.. so i guess it chose me? it feels a bit like it
A few weeks ago I was walking to work in the morning, 2 ravens were on the ground, very still, both starring at me, so close! It was so INTENSE. Like they were waiting for me or something. One of them did that sound 2 times like "cras cras". Back that time I was seeing ravens a lot. What does it mean?
I didnt know a lot about ravens - only that once one sat by me as a young girl. i look at it and i tried to guess what it was thinking. it stared and flew away but i will never forget that :) when i was next to it i felt like smiling and i wasnt afraid.
first off im glade i found ur videos. do u believe that crows are protectors. my encounters with crows flying in front of my path have been to tell me be aware and slow down . I have had this recently to give a example. I was driving a crow flew in front of my car landed and flew off. I did as I have befor and slowed down and more aware of my surroundings. I got to the light to turn left . I turned and was on my way but still being a were. a car came speeding up no turn signal squeezed in force fully in front. basically cuting me off. if had not slowed down and was a were . this car would have clipd my front end prob sending him on to a spin and who knows from there. I thought thank you crow Agin I was warned. I was wondering if u could confirm this. the crow has even saved me from a mugging once .
Also in Aboriginal Australian culture, the Crow and the Magpie are brothers, who were both white. According to the story (which I don't think I remember quite accurately), the Crow gets himself and the Magpie into trouble, which causes the Crow to be turned completely black and the Magpie only partly black. The reason why the Magpie was only partly black is because he was lead astray by the Crow.
This is very inspirational to me - I have always been drawn to Ravens. Also the moon and my Dark Oak Tree. So far all of your videos have explained a great deal to me. My Magik name is Mystic's Raven From my birth number and my Birth name in Numerology.
Bless you my lovely - av you any ideas on why birds follow me everywhere -Om hoping you know- I know you do and if you know i will hear you caw l - meet 'iT' with peace in your mind and love in your heats and you soul will fly - tatty bye fe now n i will wish u well until i see you better my love - May the Lord bless us all n bless you for this lovely vid for we are all angels of light that has been made to hide deep within - but we are airisng and soon to be truly risen - look for the signs Dec 21sg his feet will touch the ground - if u know ye know an am not the one te cr- but i must let you that a beautiful light is about to slip thru and we will all be born anew! with love always cc

I smiled this entire video. Crows are one of my totem animals, and I love them deeply. I often see a single crow before a large change in my life .
