Jāvēd Ahmed Ghāmidī (Urdu: جاوید احمد غامدی) (born April 7, 1952) is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, Quran scholar, Islamic modernist, exegete and educationist. He is also the founding president of the Al-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences.
Ghamidi's conclusions and understanding of Islam, including the Sharia, has been presented concisely in his book Mizan with the intention of presenting the religion in its pure shape, cleansed from tasawwuf, qalam, fiqh, all philosophies and any other contaminants.

For those saying they're both different creatures then do let me know which other creature has the attributes to give birth to a human other than a female human? The reason why male and females engage with one another is simply because they're both of the same specie. It's a natural instinct for every living being to survive and in order to do so it tries to multiply itself. That's breeding. All living creatures possess that quality and they can only do it with someone of their own specie. That's why men and women are attracted to eachother. Their natural instincts want them to breed and live on by passing their genes.
Then how is it possible that men would be attracted to some other creature who isn't even a human? Yes I can understand that their are psychological cases where men or women can get attracted to other creatures just to satisfy their natural instincts but those are outliers and I'm talking about the general population.
Why are you insisting on another creature? Allah can create Hoor from this human species, more beautiful than ordinary female of this world.

The interpretation is still incoherent.I feel there's unnecessary objectification of women in this interpretation. On top of it, the promise of white transparent women. Any color can be transparent, and every color can be beautiful. If the examples were purely given in an Arabian cultural context, then how can we assume other cultures to adapt to it.
Are u sure any Color can be transparent? Black, brown, etc? Plus objectification is not either intended or employed. The Quran stays in another place that beloved for men are women, sons, horses, and such things. Which shows it’s man’s nature. He lives a woman in this world and he will live in Jannah as well. It’s we who objectify women not Allah. Bcz we give to women what we choose. But Allah gives to women what she Deserves.
@@TheAuditor79 yes, I am absolutely sure, that any colour can be translucent. I do not doubt the Quran. But I do doubt the interpretation. A last religion, to be practiced till the end of times, should be inclusive, and betond worldly desires and connotations of beauty and perfection. As some theologians have interpreted the Hoor as another species, I think it is more understandable in light of Jannat being another dimension. An unimaginable creature, whose beauty is described as if it were a fair translucent woman.
White color girl is considered beautiful irrespective of culture. Majority of people consider them beautiful. Exception are everywhere.
اصل میں غامدی صاحب کے چند بنیادی عقائد ہیں جن میں ایک یہ بھی ہے کہ جنت دوزخ بنائے نہیں جا چکے (اس کا ذکر یہ شیطان والے باب میں کر چکے ہیں)، اس لیے وہ ہر بات کو اسی پیرائے میں دیکھتے ہیں۔
اس سے بھلا کیا واضح ہو کہ جنت بھی موجود ہے اور حوریں بھی موجود ہیں۔
غامدی صاحب بھول رہے ہیں کہ اللہ یا اللہ ہے رسول علیہ اسلام جب کوئی بات واضح کر دیں تو اسکا مطلب وہی ہوتا ہے جو واضح ہوتا ہے۔

Gamdi on wrong understanding of HUR, women r less in jannat in comparison of men, one men avail two Hur, how?
Mr. Ghamidi is wrong in understanding the meaning of “HOOR” which is plural and is used for both man and woman who have fair colour and are good in character and conduct. They a pair of two equal and having the same qualities just like a pair of shoes in which there is no difference but they are the same with no difference.( JOZAA is used for a equal companions. Hence, HOORUN EE means two fair coloured and good characters just like the whiteness of two eyes.In fact HOOR is the plural form of AHWAR or HOORA.Hence it is wrong to say that each man will be married to two beautiful women because it is not said so in the Quran.

Ahmed ghamadi is wrong here. There are no hoor as a female or women. In the Quran, those Riwayat are man made and wrongs. How can Allah unjust with women just things before you attribute to Allah that man will get Hoor but faithful women has nothing. Wow.

First time have seen ghamidi sahab falling flat, (doesn't mean he hasn't before, it's just that I didn't encounter it) the explanation/interpretation of third hadith is so biased to what he already concluded, otherwise even a 12 year old will understand that in that hadith there is a clear distinction between woman of the dunya and and the hoor of the paradise
Anyone who has the knowledge of literature can clearly understand that sometimes to make people understand something these type of methods are used. These words in third hadees don't represent anything literally as it happens but just to make people understand the concept already mentioned in Quran that pious women will be with pious men in jannah and similarly if a pious men if with a non fearing lady in this world he will be married to a pious lady in jannah. The basic principle is the judge every narration in the light of Quran then everything will be clear. Like in surah Maida there is a conversation between Allah and hazrat esa that will happen in qayamat but it's written in the Quran as if it's happening already.
From no where in the hadees can it be inferred that the conversation is between two different creatures but it's between the non fearing wife of that person and the one that he will be married to in jannah as Quran tells us in jannah pious men will be with pious women and pious women will be with pious men.

@@farhanalam-only Allah's scheme is clear in this regard, he made one Adam for one hawa. Polygamy is just a cultural thing. There are many tribes still living in various parts of the world where women have multiple husbands as well but these things are just related to the customs of the various societies in this world. Islam discourages polygamy but hasn't banned it just restricted the number to 4 for men and that particular solution was specially needed after jang e ohad when many women became widows if you read the ayah in which polygamy had been allowed for men you would know it was necessary for that circumstances, other than that Allah has promised the pious men and women that they will have pious spouses in the life hereafter, where there will be no need to protect the widows by allowing men to have many wives so there will not be any need for that.
غامدی صاحب کو تین احادیث کو صحیح سمجھنے پر بہت افسوس ہوا کیونکہ یہ تینوں کسی معیار پر صحیح نہیں ہیں کیونکہ تینوں احادیث قرآنی آیات سے مختلف ہیںجو محمد عس کبھی بھی نہیں کیہ سکتے تھے کیونکہ انکا تفصیل یا تشریح بتانے کا کوئ اختیار ہی نہیں دیا گیا تھا۔ وہ تو جو اللہ نے وحی کے ذریعہ انکو بتائیں صرف انکو جون کی تون بتانے کے لیۓ بھیجے گۓ تھے۔ اور سب سے پہلے فرمان بردار کہنے والا کبھی بھی قرآن کی باتوں سے زیادہ نہیں کیہ سکتا ہے۔ اور اللہ نے جب کسی حدیث کو قرآن جو احسن الحدیث ہے، تو اسکے بعد کسی بھی حدیث کو نہ ماننے کا کہا ہے۔یہ تینوں احادیث قرآنی آیات سے مختلف ہیں کیونکہ ان میں اضافے کیۓ گۓ ہیں۔ حدیثوں کو ماننے کا الل نے کوئ حکم دیا ہی نہیں ہے، تو ہمیں صرف قرآن کی ہی پیروی کرنی چاہئیۓ۔ ان جھوٹی حدیثوں نے ہمیشہ سے ہی اللہ،کی باتوں کو انسانی باتوں سے ملا کر انکو تبدیل کر دیا تھا اور آج بھی یہی تبدیلی قرآن کی باتوں میں احادیث کے ذریعے اضافی باتیں ملا کر ان میں تبدیلی کی جا رہی ہے۔ جو بھی احادیث کو صحیح اور سچ مانے جبکہ اللہ نے انکو ماننے سے منع کیا ہے، تو وہ شرک کا گناہ کرتا ہے۔ ا احادیث کے سچ ہونے کا کوئ بھی ثبوت ہر راوی کے دو دو گواہوں سے نہیں ثابت کیا گیا ہے۔ اور انکے سچ ہونے کا دوسرا اصول جو اللہ نے بتایا ہے کہ کہنے والا اللہ کی قسم کھا کر یہ کہے کہ اگر یہ حدیث جھوٹی ہو تو اللہ،کی لعنت مجھ پر ہو، بھی کسی نے نہیں کھائ اور آج بھی کوئ یہ لعنت والی قسم کھا کر کسی حدیث کو بھی سچ ثابت نہیں کریگا۔اس لیۓ کسی بھی حدیث کو جو قرآنی آیات کے عین مطابق نہ ہو، نہیں ماننا اور بتانا چاہئیۓ کیونکہ جھوٹی باتوں کو بتانے والا بھی جھوٹا ہوتا ہے۔ جب قرآن مفصل، مکمل، اور تفسیر سے بتایا گیا ہے تو وہ ہمارے لیۓ کافی ہونا چاہئیۓ۔یہ تینوں احادیث بالکل سچی اور صحیح نہیں ہیں کیونکہ یہ قرآنی آیات سے مختلف ہیں جن میں انسانوں نے اپنی باتیں ملا کر ان میں تبدیلی کر دی ہیں جیسے کہ یہ کہنا کہ جو پہلا آدمی جنت میں داخل ہوگا اسکا چہرا چاند کی طرح چمکتا ہوگا، تو یہ وہ کیہ سکتا ہے جسے علم غیب ہو لیکن اللہ نے کسی بھی انسان،کو علم غیب دیا ہی نہیں ہے۔اس لیۓ انکو ماننا شرک کا گناہ کرنا ہے کیونکہ اللہ نے یہ باتیں قرآ میں نہیں بتائ ہیں۔جیسے دو بیویاں ہونا اور ایک بیوی کا کہنا کہ دنیا میں جو بیوی اپنے شوہر کو تنگ کریگی تو اسے یاد رکھنا چاہئیۓ کہ وہ دنیا میں تو صرف مہمان ہے، آخر میں وہ انکے پاس ہی آئیگا۔ یہ بات تو ناممکن ہے کیونکہ اسے سننے والا کون تھا جسے وہاں موجود ہونا بتایا گیا ہے۔اور کسی کا اتنا خوبصورت ہونا کہ ٹانگوں کا گودا بھی دکھائ دے ایسا تو ممکن ہی نہیں ہے۔یہ بالکل جھوٹ ہے۔حور تو جمع ہے جنکے معنی سفید ہونا یعنی بہت گوری ہونا ہے اور حور عین کے معنی بھی غامدی صاحب نے غلط سمجھے ہیں۔ یہ دو حوریں یعنی بیویاں نہیں ہیں بلکہ یہ حور تو جمع ہے جو مزکر اور مؤنث دونوں کے لیۓ آتا ہے یعنی دو بالکل ایک جیسے گورے اور اچھی سیرت والے ساتھی ہونگے، جیسے دو آنکھوں کی دو سفیدیاں۔
