The Banaz Mahmoud case is extremely heartbreaking. Violence against women still a prolific issue, and it only takes an unhinged twat to come across a woman who they feel is a major inconvenience to them and that woman is subsequently in danger, the police need to crack down and do more. He’s even got the Chris Watts pose downpat 1:34 I’m so, so sorry to Katie’s loved ones and especially her parents and children. This is a horror beyond all comprehension. The plague of domestic violence is so insidious. Recently I had my best mates 30th. He watched his Dad murder his Mom when he was 5 years old. There was such a sense of loss & absence, as his siblings and many friends made speeches…and maternal and paternal figures in his life travelled many hours to attend his birthday, people who have played such an important role in his life.
But there was no taking away from the fact that he had no Mom or Dad there to say _happy birthday_ or _I’m so proud of you_ .
The legacy of domestic and family violence spans across generations.
My ongoing love and thoughts go to Katie’s parents, siblings, family, and of course her wee children.

A truly tragic case, but I would wholeheartedly encourage more of these types of raw, unfiltered documentaries from the police force. Our prisons are jam-packed because the powers that be in the UK believe all those who *violently murder* the *innocent* have a right to live their lives, with
      no bills to pay,
      no food bills
      TVs,
      access to gyms,
drugs ((we know drugs are smuggled into prisons))

Not possible. Like the detective said to him... He wouldn't have had time to do all that. He was out there prior to taking Katie there, and he dug that hole, knowing he was going to take Katie back there, kill her and dispose of her body in that hole.
