easy as mate , only 2 bends, you can use galvinised tin or even wood , just make to the size of your matts, factory made sluices are way over priced :)

Do you fasten the rubber sections down in any way? Or is the weight enough to hold them flat? On the second mat (with holes), I’m wondering if the mat being loose could allow fine gold to work its way underneath the mat and possibly be lost.
No mate i have the clean up matt under it. Catches everything in the top . I did a test today. Seems to work fine. Im using a 2000gph bilge pump and just regulate the flow with the tap. If the matt does start lifting ill put some side bars on it to hold the mat down

Its just 2 bends mate. Can make from aluminium. galvinised sheet or timber. Just make the size to fit your matt. In another video i convert it into a highbanker

That matt i use has little rubber bumps under it i ground them.off with the grinder so it sits flat

Wow, how did you get into gold prospecting in a foreign country mate, I notice you’re from Australia 🇦🇺. What made you move ....was it the gold?
No mate i did my first gold pan when i was 10 on a boy scout camp. And just went from there. I came to indonesia for surf and just stayed. I do gold up in sulawesi but live in Bali
Southern Cross Prospecting , getting enough colour to make a living....must be great. I was up the gem fields in Queensland for about 2 years, made nothing...just got a sore back mate, lol. @@richardlove4287 no money in micro prospecting mate. Its all about getting out there and staying off the grog haha
$2 to get that bent? That would easily be $50-$100 where I live. No way some company is going to spend time on something like that without over charging for labor. I love the floor mat idea though. Might have to check around at lowes, walmart, and home depot and see what kind of options they have. Might have to find some construction scrap piles i can scrounge some already bent metal from if they'll permit me to.
So I'm new to the whole gold mining thing love the shows and stuff always been interested in gold prospecting out here where I live just for a fun hobby to maybe make some extra money in my free time but don't know what the laws and stuff is on doing it here in my state if anyone lives in Missouri feel free to comment inform me would greatly appreciate it...
Just buy a gold pan . Bucket and shovel and give it a go mate. Its fun
usually if you are using hand tools and gold pans there are no restrictions other than keep off other peoples property. Once you are using pumps and sluices and high bankers and such then you need to get a license. At least thats how it works in Canada eh! :P
