I was living in Nashville when this happened! I used to walk past that condo all the time. I even walked past it when this incident happened. I remember seeing all the yellow tape and such. Also, a few months after Steve was killed, his wife threw his mother out of her house. Steve had gotten his mother a home but I think the home was in Steve’s name because a little while after he was killed his wife threw her out and f that house and took possession of it. This is what I heard on he news over ten years ago. At first I thought it was a mean thing to do, then I thought about it again and realized why she did that. Steves mother must have condoned his extra marital affairs and girlfriends and his wife probably hated her for that. I can see why she would do that. I don’t blame her. I’d throw his mother out too.

Steve used to stay at a hotel I worked at. He was always very nice, down to earth and respectful. Steve's brother, Fred, equally a great man. Ill just say Steve knew how to party and was a complete legend. I had to help the security guard carry Steve to his room because he was si swerved. This was after his football career so this isnt any negative towards Steve. Great man, great family, sad that he was taken from the Earth. RIP Steve

Also, a few months after Steve was killed, his wife threw his mother out of her house. Steve had gotten his mother a home but I think the home was in Steve’s name because a little while after he was killed his wife threw her out and f that house and took possession of it. This is what I heard on he news over ten years ago. At first I thought it was a mean thing to do, then I thought about it again and realized why she did that. Steves mother must have condoned his extra marital affairs and girlfriends and his wife probably hated her for that. I can see why she would do that. I don’t blame her. I’d throw his mother out too.

I used to be a server at Pappadeaux in Houston. McNair would come in and ask for one of the brothers that worked there (my brother and I both worked there). He would stay for hours and just talk to us about football as we were/are huge fans. That guy had soooo much class. Sad to see him go and so early. RIP Steve!
