Im realing hoping that clap of lightning sound isnt used for every strike. I love the distant roll of thunder and occasionally you will get a strike sound but it normally doesnt sound like for every strike. It depends on the distance. The further the strike the more thunder sound you will get. Also i really hope that the lightning has a delay sound and isnt instantaneous with the strike.

Really hoping we can have some sort of CTC dispatch screen with the routes. It’s a big disappointment that we previously had no control over our routes, for example playing in free mode you can mess about the yard, build a train, and then you can’t even take it anywhere. It would be a HUGE immersive change to actually have signals and the CTC switched controller via a dispatch screen (optionally) and also have some industries to serve and industry spurs.

Knowing dovetail, it won’t. There will be umbrellas up under canopies and shelters and literally every person will probably have one. I haven’t seen anyone with a raincoat in these videos yet.

Unreal how much is being done on weather, but not the track drawing problem and lack of realistic motion on the trains etc. umbrellas that move, wow, that’s what I want out of a train sim!
And again the USA, Great Britain, Germany. When will there be new countries? The same Italy, Spain, Turkey, or the countries of the former USSR, let's move on in Europe, and not stand still.
I wish 3rd party developers would be allowed to make add-ons. For example right now it is either Germany, France or England but me as a Dutchie would like to have some Dutch trains and routes. 3rd party developers can really make amazing stuff. We're stuck using Train Simulator Classic right now.

It may be dependent on your local time. The launch is global (so everyone can access at the same time) - that may mean for some it's late on the 1st, some early on the 3rd.

It's really a shame that the wipers don't remove raindrops from the windshields. Wow....the devs released a new, very hyped game and didn't bother to even see if the wipers work. There are also numerous other issues with dynamic weather rain that the devs didn't bother fixing before releasing the game. That's sloppy work.
The developers constantly show video of the train in motion and abruptly change the position of the camera, so that it would not be noticeable how the shadows near the trees are sharply loaded. It looks terrible. Nothing has changed since the last version. The new clouds often look as bad as rounded lumps of absorbent cotton. Even in ATS\ETS the clouds look much better.
I'll buy this game when it's more than 70% on sale or when it comes for free on Epic. I'm done buying patches released by developers in the gaming industry.

Then there's the excitement of umbrellas. So here we have Matt identifying this as immersion breaking to the point now EVERY passenger carries a carbon copy umbrella in a specifically neutral colour scheme. I do have to wonder how many crumbs are left in the bottom of the cookie jar that this has to be highlighted as a selling point. Footage of the various railcars still shows them travelling like hover cars with no disenable physics. Why bother with weather upgrades if the trains drive the same regardless of the conditions, you should be showing the wheel slip or reduced braking effort in concert with the weather effects. Pantograph arcing, while authentic isn't as common as they make out either and usually indicates more of a fault than anything weather related. I'd be more impressed if the pantograph showed water spray effects while running along the contact wire during heavy periods of rain, like in reality.
Who cares about the lighting and weather when you still have not done anything with that awful map. how many users must complain about it before you improve it to anywhere near as useful as the map in legacy train simulator?

Personally, the only time I see the passengers is when they walk by the cab, then suddenly realize their train has pulled in.
Such a real shame all the umbrellas are the same colour! Why on earth didn't they have different colours?

Why I cant turn on the passengers lights and the destination displays outside the coaches? About ICE 1 and 3.

Will there be severe fog like we have in Louisiana? Fog so thick, you cant even see the rail from the cab.

I would certainly buy TSW3 if the locomotive skin creator had pre made logos, so Norfolk Southern, BNSF, Union Pacific, Canadian Pacific, ETC
These are coming. There is already a bunch of logo's in the Livery Editor and the rest will follow.
