Thanks for your great vidios Gary, I really appreciate your effort...I have one question, well I have an EA7-TC6L HMI and I was attempting to communicate my HMI with the do-more designer simulator and I followed exactly the same steps as your video but at the end I didn't have communication between them, so I would wanna know how can I achieve that, please, I configured the modbus TCP/IP like you and the HMI just displays that "PLC communication time out" and I don't know why, could you help me with this? please, greetings sir.
Hi Felipe, I have not used the EA7-TC6L. It says in the specification that it will communicate Modbus TCP via the Ethernet port. Please ensure that you are setting the correct IP address for your computer in the HMI software. cdn.automationdirect.com/static/manuals/eauserm_12_09/eauserm_12_09.html Since this is an older C-More HMI, you must ensure that the ethernet cable is a straight-through if using a switch in between the Computer and HMI. If a direct connection is made then a Crossover cable must be used. See Chapter 8: Troubleshooting - 8-15 to 8-17 I hope this helps you out. Regards, Garry
Version v4.32 of the C-More Micro Programming Software has just been released. Download the latest version: support.automationdirect.com/products/cmoremicro.html Regards, Garry
Hi @marioaguilar6677 The following post will show you the Panel to PLC and PLC to Panel communications. accautomation.ca/c-more-micro-hmi-first-program-part-2/ This is shown under the heading PLC to Panel / Panel to PLC. There is a location that can be set for the current screen. Create the PLC logic that compares the screen to 1. (Page 1). If it is not, then set a timer. After the timer expires, then set the page to 1. I hope this helps you out. Regards, Garry
Hi Robert, Unfortunately, the C-More software's simulator will only allow manual entry. You need the HMI hardware to connect to the Do-More Simulator. Note: The Do-more Simulator will only run for a few hours before returning to program mode. You must then put it back in run mode. If you are looking to try something out, AdvancedHMI can be used to communicate to the Do-More Designer Simulator. accautomation.ca/create-a-plc-with-hmi-training-and-learning-environment-free/ Regards, Garry
