Just to confirm as mentioned in the video - the Twilight Pack is out tomorrow (the 18th), the embargo is just a little earlier for this one than usual. We'll probably have our first pack build tomorrow too!

OMG, the wombats, raccoons, foxes and skunks are way too cute, and they did a fantastic job with the bats! Now they definitely need to bring in flying birds!
When you do a Twilight Pack themed zoo, you should also add in spiders and snakes as other exhibit animals. These smaller creatures can fit the Halloween theme. As for habitat animals, I’d add Aardvarks. Since most nocturnal animal houses aren’t complete without Aardvarks. The Platypus can also work too, since many platypus habitats in zoos are nocturnal themed.

love the aviary type building for the bats, gives hope for birds, and maybe even something like a butterfly room like some zoos have
And with this pack we grow one step closer to being able to build an accurate Chester Zoo.
Wombats are definitely one of my favorite animals in the game, so cute!
its true that most of these animals are not incredibly exotic or thrilling, but i'm excited to add small, kind of urban-themed filler habitats to my zoos with these. one of my local zoos has a very creative little enclosure for a rescued barn owl; they're native to this area and not rare to see, but they built him a little aviary with a wooden shed inside for him to roost up in the rafters, just the way they like to do in rural areas. seeing it really sparked my interest and made me think about cool ways to display "urban" wildlife, and i think this pack will give me a good excuse to try out some fun builds :)
To anyone who doesn’t know: the square poop of wombats are shaped so their poop doesn’t roll away in their burrow so they don’t lose their way out of their tunnels (like Hansel n Gretal) they also have such a strong backside and heavy ass for either As: if their burrow collapses they hold it up with their back: (yet when some tourist’s see a wombat burrow they go to pet them, but by touching their backsides they rev up and crush tourists hands against the burrow roof and traps some tourists to die, and B: they use other backside as a blockade to their burrows and there is skeletal remains of fox’s skulls who have stuck their heads into wombat burrow’s and have had their heads sat on/ crushed.
Petition to move the Iguanas to the larger exhibit too
It seems like they made it into an aviary, probably without the climate control system that the terrarium boxes have. So while a walkthrough iguana exhibit (or even just a larger iguana exhibit) would be nice, I don't think this is gonna be it without mods.

I mean, nile monitors and komodo dragons also don't get heat regulation so...
@@MrTiesk Those are habitat animals, not exhibit animals, and you still need to place heaters for them if you're building a zoo in a cold environment.
I hope the addition of bats means more birds are coming soon!
It would be really weird if they coded the whole walkthrough aviary and only used it for one single animal. My prediction is the next DLC is gonna include at least one bird that goes in there.

@@HatBoyConnie I'm pretty sure we'd all like a full aviary pack at this point. Personally, I'm hoping for a pack with 8-10 aviary birds. But even if the next pack isn't specifically an aviary pack, I'm still counting on it having at least one aviary bird.

I really think they should have given the fox interspecies enrichment with the badger since, as far as I know, it's not too uncommon for a foxes to live together with a badgers in the same burrow. That said I really like how many colour variations it has.
The bats in the cage remind of that bird feeder encounter. You know that where the birds get on you while you feed them.

Opossums are adorable but sadly they don't live that long. :(

Bats and raccoons are definitly the highlights for me, but I do also like the other animals.
I can't wait to see all the new foliage and pieces.

this pack is great! the only issue is the bats since they are in a looped animation. but still amazing!!
Itd be cool if badgers and foxes could share dens like they do in real life. I mean, its more like the foxes are squatting in a badger set but, still. It might be a bit unrealistic given badgers and foxes will still prey on one another's young, but it would be a cool not to their irl behaviour.

They did pretty damn well. I do hope to see in the future is an echidna and maybe little penguins from Australia near Phillips island in Victoria.
I still also want to see walruses, elephant seals, leopard seals, fallow deer, red deer, Australian Fruit bat, Australian flying fox bat, kiwi, and Tasmanian devil.
I doubt wallabies and emu will make it due to some might look similar in way but there is different species of others that look kinda identical.
The walrus I reckon would have fit in this pack as it looks like vampire teeth lol but it is what it is. But I do love the animal choices though. :D

There aren't any super-exciting animals in this pack, but I do think it's very useful to have some small animals, since so many zoos have lots of small critters... but yeah, given that 3 of 5 animals hang out in my backyard, I don't find them especially unique or interesting. I expect I will use them, because small animals are nice to put into zoos.... But the bats are very cool.
i'm super excited for this pack! the bats look amazing and strengthens my hope that we'll eventually get an aviary pack one day :D

For the animals, I'm most excited about the bats and foxes. As more of a builder, I am always most excited about new building/decor items, particularly the flexicolor stone wall pieces and the arched wooden pieces. I am so excited about this DLC...
If that's what the fruit bats exhibit is like imagine what the aviary pack could be like.

The foxes might actually be my favourite. The design is top notch and the different colourations are so beautiful 😭❤ Their vocalisations are a perfect edition to the spooky vibes too.
I get what you mean by the selection of animals being slightly disappointing though. Aye aye would have been amazing, but that requires yet another unique exhibit/enclosure that is not in the game already. I have been hoping for more smaller primates myself. I want my tamarins, bush babies, squirrel monkeys, douroucoulis ans slow lorises. But I'm not sure if that's ever happening.
Honestly, the bat being added really annoys me because it’s only one thing for an entire new item. It also proves that PZ could absolutely have an aviary/aquarium pack, and they just don’t
