Highly recommend these for you! Medihealer Ring Size Adjuster! My rings were loose, but not enough to need resizing. I used the larger size coil to keep my rings in place and have had no issues getting my rings off or back on. My rings also stay in place now! I have not noticed any lotion, soap, etc getting stuck underneath either. This is exactly what I was looking for.
I would think this took more than a day as it is quite intricate to construct along with the actual stone setting which is another feat in itself. Very involved very beautiful. Such wonderful skills. Many thanks for this sharing.
nice work! How do you collect and save all the gold chips, filings, and dust that get everywhere during the shaping process. Do you use designated files and wheels for Gold vs silver, etc? Seems like a lot value to just brush everything of the work space and throw it away. Thanks in advance.
I only ask because during some of the filling and boring processes it didn't look like he was keeping track of the bits. A lot of them were flying off into the cracks of the bench. When I work I tend to do it on a solid white surface with raised borders so I can gather up as much as I can afterwards. White gold isn't exactly cheap.
I thought flush mounted stones had to be deep in the seat to stay, like barely popping out, how did you make them stay while sticking so far out the holes?
Hi, thats a nice ring there! at the 10mins mark to 11mins, are you graving the sides to form prongs for the stone? the stone seems to be protuding so i assume it isnt beads
Awesome and intriguing video. I love the background music. It reminds me of growing up before music was commercialized. I would love to get the track listing to some of those to listen to.
Heres my question, why melt metal into that thing then roll it through the mill as opposed to just using thick gauged wire instead? Novice silver smith
Every time the jeweller cuts or removes material, they retain it. Then they can use the pieces and the dust to melt down back into ingots. Otherwise you'd be wasting a lot of money over time buying more material, only to waste half of it again when you make the next piece. Although by now, you've probably already found the answer to this question :)
una pregunta, espero q sepa entender lo que digo, no es más fácil sacar el anillo de una chapa gruesa de 2mm antes que hacer un fleje y limarlos tanto?
Thank you so much for these videos, I learn a lot from every video you produce. am trying to learn from u tube so I can set stones in the knives I am making
Grazie, dipende dal modello alcuni richiedono poche ore altri un giorno o due. altri più tempo. Naturalmente intendo tutte le lavorazioni incluse le incastonature.
depends on the characteristics of the diamond (weight, purity, cut and color) if you want a quote you can send a request to scaffoal@oro-diamanti.it, with the characteristics you prefer, thanks
hi there I love watching you work the only thing I miss in you videos is I would like to know more about you and your tools that you work with. keep up the good work. :-)
hey scaffoal , hows it going? first i want to say thank you for all the knowledge you share. your work is amazing and by watching your videos my work has improved ten fold in a short amount of time. i am most thankful and feel indebted to you. also i was wondering what that tool you use is called, the pneumatic hammer thing you often use to bend down the prongs ? one last thing, you've asked for ideas, have you tried making chain-mail and incorporating it into pieces. chain-mail has always been total rockstar material, and i'd love to see how you might incorporate it into your work. thanks again, and again, and again for all that you've shared, much love to you my brother
+scaffoal Whoa that's pretty fast... I hope I can make one with a close design, but with silver and Peridot... I'll see. I really enjoy every single one of your videos, hope it'll help me with my education =)
So that's a solid white gold? I've been watching ur vids every now and then... Fascinated to watch you make these pieces of jewellery from scratch.... And create something worth keeping for ages... Totally impressed... :)
I don't think pure white gold does exist. Its gold mixed with some white metal (palladium, silver, nickel). 24 kt is not even very good as jewellery. It will bend and morph. 18 kt is nice and durable.
Ver o metal se transformar. É impressionante nas mãos de um Mestre na arte. Muito bom. Obrigado por repartir seus conhecimentos. Estou aprendendo pequenos detalhes.
Wow i love your work , how can I contact to u , i want u make me something and is there impossible way to deliver it in Middle East ? Exactly in Kuwait

Great video. I love the way the side stones are in an angled piece of metal. Beautiful!
Thanks
Beautiful creation. Would you please show how you set the ring into the JettSet before you started setting the stones please?
This is maybe the fifth time I watch the entire video, it's such a beautiful piece of art. As goldsmith too, I appreciate the work. Congrats!

Bart Black Work on a lined wooden, drawer metal
Very nice piece. Always a pleasure to see your work.
thanks
U r amazing human and I love watching u making all this beautiful jewellery, I love at😄.Cheers
When you're chipping away at the silver, what do you do with all those little bits that fly off onto the work bench?
***** An obvious guess.
that's white gold Max.
sorry shoulda finished your question, the filings and bits are melted down and refined.
I only ask because during some of the filling and boring processes it didn't look like he was keeping track of the bits. A lot of them were flying off into the cracks of the bench. When I work I tend to do it on a solid white surface with raised borders so I can gather up as much as I can afterwards. White gold isn't exactly cheap.
is white gold, however, all precious metals are collected and re-merge and are re-used, nothing is lost
I thought flush mounted stones had to be deep in the seat to stay, like barely popping out, how did you make them stay while sticking so far out the holes?
It depends on the cut of the stone, th-cam.com/video/SNH7iw9grF0/w-d-xo.html
I love everything you create and how you put that in video. Amazing!
Thanks a lot
Absolutely beautiful. Nice job.
Thanks
Such a great design, and the work is superb as always!
Very beautiful and well made! I'm a fan of your videos!
Thanks
Is white gold harder than yellow gold? From as much filing your doing ..it appears to be. That's just my guess.
Hi, thats a nice ring there! at the 10mins mark to 11mins, are you graving the sides to form prongs for the stone? the stone seems to be protuding so i assume it isnt beads
The two side diamonds are embedded in the metal bezel cut, the central diamond is set to beat
Awesome and intriguing video. I love the background music. It reminds me of growing up before music was commercialized. I would love to get the track listing to some of those to listen to.
Thanks, always insert the names of the songs at the end of the video
what's with spring on your soldering block? great job, good too see that there are still real jewellers out there.
Thanks a lot, the spring serves to not dissipate the heat of the object
+scaffoal very cool. thanks a lot.
Heres my question, why melt metal into that thing then roll it through the mill as opposed to just using thick gauged wire instead?

I use alloys ready already selling Legorgroup. it is harder to work
PERFECT JOB ❤️ thanks 😊
thanks
at 11:25 what is the black sludge that you use to hold the ring?
MASTICS FOR SETTING
Would this be considered a flush setting? If not what kind of setting is this?
A part is made in wrought, and the other to cut
scaffoal I don't understand what you mean "the other to cut"?

Great video and wonderful work. Congrats!!!!

Thanks you
I like that ring it got style
thanks
Beautiful. I can imagine wearing a ring like that - a star floating over my finger...
thanks
Another amazing piece... How much would it retail for..?
The ring, gold and manufacturing costs about 400 Euros, plus diamonds which cost depends on the size and quality
What have you done here that the diamonds stay in the ring and dont fall out?
They are embedded in the metal
But how?^^ It looks like you are just pressing the diamonds in the silver scaffoal
Retuas No, For the center stone is first cut a groove with a bur, then with an electric hammer it is crushed metal on stone
Wow that looks amazing , where can I buy this? 😊
stunning as always
Thanks
