@@JeffWilliamsGuitar Yes! You capture their style very well I was surprised to listen to some of trey's playing and realize I was playing in similar ways just based on the backing track. And that would be amazing, I miss live music so much, Trey and his band / Phish are going to be one that I'll travel far for!
Thanks Sal and glad the tracks are motivating! When I used to teach private lessons, my number one thing was to always find ways to just get people to want to play and have fun with it. That's really all that matters in the end.
First class son, I am 68 now and had two mini strokes some time back, I am slowly getting into things, and stuff like yours inspires me. If you dont mind I would love to put some keyboard to this, well, at least try, without tripping over the notes, cheers, keep up the good work.
hey jeff, great stuff. i would love to see you break down the "intro" solo from the Moma Dance live in Brooklyn. The first solo is so heat and i have trouble doing it by ear. Thanks, love the vids
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar Most definitely, my friend. Thanks for the countless hours of jamming in my basement you've given this intermediate guitarist. Love your work.
Thank you SO much for the work you put into these backing tracks. They are really the highlight of my life right now as I wait patiently for live music again. Add Taste and/or Down with Disease (or perhaps Taste into the Down with Disease solo from their Amsterdam 97 show???) to your list and I'd be so happy!
Yes, I've been wanting to make a track for Taste for awhile! I love the Amerstam 97 show. There was a Taste from Boise (I forget the year) that I'm gonna use as a reference.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar you make some of the best backings I have played too. I really appreciate the phish stuff. I play guitar and piano over these all the time

Love it! These backing tracks actually got me into phish 👍🏻
No way?!! Well when they get back to touring, hopefully they'll be in your area and you can check out a show.

If I'm ever debating playing guitar, I see you post a track and I instantly know what to do.
Amazing as always Jeff!!

Ah finally! I’ve been trying to figure out these voicings. Thanks!
No problem!
These are amazing Jeff. I’d like to see a “making of” video that shows you layering the tracks and playing the backing tracks. You’re a mad scientist.
Hey thanks Derek. That's a great idea!

Just listened to this whole thing while at work and loved it. Was groovin at my desk! My guitar is at home... 🤷🏻♂️
Nice! Hopefully your guitar will also be groovin' with it later!

@@theme542 Glad they're helpful. Lots more on the way.
what type of pedals/distortions are used for a sound like this?
Trey usually uses a wah for parts.
