I know it's been three years, but I keep coming back so I'm just gonna help myself out with this: 1. BLOOD. 1:54 2. DNA. 2:53 3. YAH. 5:27 4. ELEMENT. 6:24 5. FEEL. 7:53 6. LOYALTY. 9:23 7. PRIDE. 10:33 8. HUMBLE. 13:54 9. LUST. 14:03 10. LOVE. 17:21 11. XXX. 19:47 12. FEAR. 21:13 13. GOD. 24:55 14. DUCKWORTH. 26:29
This gotta be the realist Meami reaction ever. I respect you my dude. You sound like the type of dude who can be mad fun and be hella turnt with, but gives the realist advice when needed.
@@juniormoreno1000but bro, fear, fear! Thats one of the best from theeee album, yah and loyalty would be acceptable hut even then i am a huge fan of those a bit more of loyalty of course.
In Duckworth one line is "We gon put it in reverse" and the last song is about how his dad and his rap crew manager knew eachother and were both in separate gangs and if one of them killed eachother, he wouldn't have a dad and would have gotten shot down in the streets from gangbanging, so if you reverse the track list, it starts with his dad's history, then him being born on a song called "God" where the refrain is "this is what God feels like", aka the process of making life, then the next song is "Fear" and that was about how his mom used to talk to him when he was a kid and how he used to live in fear, and it continues all the way to the first legit song (legit song bc first track is an intro) and that's like a banger song, and its him gang banging as a teenager and then the intro would be last, and in the intro he gets shot and dies just like he said in Duckworth
Lmfaooooo this shit still gold 2 years later. Then the fact that he said "Imma drink to that one, you been sayin some real shit today Dev" in third person. 😂😂
I'm 18 minutes in and honestly this is the realest reaction/review I've ever seen. The fact that he's literally taking things in from Kendrick's lyrics and reflecting -- applying the themes of the songs to himself. This alone is how you know that Kendrick is a master at his craft if he can make someone do that.
Kendricks production on this album is more hip hop than Joey's album which took like half the album to get past the songs that were trying to be radio hits, Kendrick had better bars in this album and has way more thought put into the concept, Damn. is hip hop album of the year so far, you tripping hard man
Chad Dee Quint don't put out enough content, i don't look forward to his shit anymore. Meami is consistent, and tbh it's a close battle between him and Shawn Cee with Tabby in third place as far as music reactors go
after multiple listens, pride is defin one of my fav along with fear and duckworth. some of his best lines to date are on those 3 tracks imo. the album is brilliant, so much shit lurking beneath its surface
C Wizzle it's crazy how some people saying they hate the album and its trash I definitely disagree this album grows on you and has a deep message that's what hip hop is about all
THEORY: I don't think there is going to be another album. Hopefully I'm wrong but I think this album has two albums in one depending on how you take the first track BLOOD. Kendrick sees a blind woman and asks to help her and she says he lost his life then a gunshot. The common and easy view on that is she kills him after helping her. But the track starts with Wickedness or Weakness, Do we live or die? What if Kendrick is the one who pulls the trigger? Then the whole album changes your perspectives. Each track follows a theme of Synonyms and Antonyms with LUST LOVE FEAR GOD HUMBLE PRIDE
Mateo Bulosan she was the one who said he lost his life and was last to speak, as well as the assumption that Kendrick is off guard and wouldn't have a gun out to help a blind woman.
first watched this reaction during my senior year of high school and didn't really understand this back then, but now, i really understand this. dev always been real throughout all these years ong 22:50
I like Meami's perspective of life man. he takes in the tracks and relates it to his personal life that the magic of music rate that fam keep it up bro
and people said To Pimp a Butterfly was his best work Haha nah this man has nothing stopping him by the looks of it he will surpass the Legends of hip hop and will be known to be the best Rapper/ Hip hop artist to ever lived
This is AOTY for me, barely beating out RTJ3. I agreed with u on most the tracks, but FEAR is my shit. Still haven't gotten the whole concept or read all the lyrics, but it's fuckin amazing. Shoutout to you tho the stories you told during the review were really entertaining.
oceanwavesandcocaine FTS would say some shit like " Kendrick kinda sound like Drake on this track " like nah not every nigga tries to sound like Drake.
bro you're the only reviewer that I watch on TH-cam. I tried to watch these other guys but they seem to force reactions. you're an authentic cat. keep up the work bro. been with you seen all of the logic reviews.

The fact that he's literally taking things in from Kendrick's lyrics and reflecting -- applying the themes of the songs to himself. Aric Ley, I mean Kendrick helped.... But I think that liquor had that nigga on another level. 😂
Kendricks production on this album is more hip hop than Joey's album which took like half the album to get past the songs that were trying to be radio hits, Kendrick had better bars in this album and has way more thought put into the concept, Damn. is hip hop album of the year so far, you tripping hard man
Samuel Crisanto Opinions tho? He still put DAMN. as second favorite next to AABA.
Samuel Crisanto Radio hits? Bruv aab sounds nothing like anything on the radio
Samuel Crisanto AABA still got the number one spot in my opinion

It’s just more of a mainstream song. It’s good but on Kendrick’s standard it’s ight

its all about contrast. whether u choose one perspective or another
you might be right
Mateo Bulosan she was the one who said he lost his life and was last to speak, as well as the assumption that Kendrick is off guard and wouldn't have a gun out to help a blind woman.
James Burgess yes when he "helps her" it can just be kendrick taking advantage of her knowing she was blind. It's all in your perspective.
Mateo Bulosan it's been a day and there's already hundreds of theories about the album
It's a classic 👌
Fear is the most important song on the album when it comes to understanding the entire album.
i seriously just clicked on your channel... "uploaded 20 seconds ago." shiiiiet
Meami really just put his soul out mixing this new Kendrick with that drink 😂
PRIDE. is one of my favorites off this album
that's my shit right there.. so good
Steve lacy did his thing with the production.
That's why I love watching your videos. You keep it real and don't say that every Kendrick song is fire.

DAMN. = Kendricks Yeezus, This shit was amazing glad kendrick did an experimental album 🔥
themasterassassian yh I can tell this was hella risky but he pulled it off

themasterassassian Kanye didn't pull of yeezus tho
Pat Flowers some people think he did but overall nah
Pat Flowers Critics think he did tho. I agree with that. Yeezus was way more experimental than DAMN. DAMN. has the way better bars tho.

My mans was preaching real shit this whole video
Dude hit me with some real shit I went through @ 18:00... Great reaction tho

Mushtaq Taj that song was ass, trash beat.

DAMN BRUH YOU KNOCKED OUT FTS MUSIC OFF HIS SPOT WITH THIS REACTION 😂
oceanwavesandcocaine FTS would say some shit like " Kendrick kinda sound like Drake on this track " like nah not every nigga tries to sound like Drake.
oceanwavesandcocaine FTS the worst reactor ever lol
Dude is one of the realest reviewer on TH-cam and dope album 8/10 it's growing on me
Pride was my favorite in my opinion.
Emilio Hernandez pride is dope as fuck.
bro you're the only reviewer that I watch on TH-cam. I tried to watch these other guys but they seem to force reactions. you're an authentic cat. keep up the work bro. been with you seen all of the logic reviews.
Great album! Can't compare it to GKMC or TPAB but it was still very good. So far album of the year for me just beating out Joey
