The only reason that Solidariteit won, which i actually knew they would lon beforehand, is that the 'qouta' system besed on race was,is and alwys will not be consistent with the Constitution; irrespective of who says otherwise. Solidariteit would not be successful in bringing NHI to a stop. They MIGHT be successful with some modifications to the Act,, but never with defeating the Bill as a whole.

IM WAITING MANY YEARS TO SEE DISCOVERY HEALTH FAIL AND CLOSE DOWN TOTALLY!!!!! Daylight robbing @$#%&!!! They are more interested in building glass skyscrapers in Sandton with our hard earned salaries. we contribute to them without a say on return on unused payments! The system is set up to milk the citizens who are sheep to a capitalist system! The ones that lose out and feed the greed are the healthy who are not sickly and chronic. A savings that is too low that also can't be used on any desired medical need. Yet again the citizens are not being served or receiving any value for money...insurance loss with no return on investment is a sad and horrible thing to an average or low wage family who could use the money for hundreds of other things!

Ever ask yourself why are we only having few commercial banks, retail grocery companies and clothing companies? they have made it difficult and impossible to have new players to access the market.

The toxic collision of ANC (Politicians) and Big Business (Capitalists) is now feeling the pinch, these two coming together have halted the economy from opening doors for new players in different industries. ABSA, NEDBANK, STD Bank, CAPITEC and FNB have no competition it's easier for them to collude and fix pricing so is all other industries where its only a handful of companies that own all the spaces.
The ANC has made it impossible for new industrialists and new talent to enter the market with red tapes to make sure you don't challenge capital that has been benefitting since apartheid era to date. i am not shocked that it has come to this, now the ANC is trying to get more votes by trying to please the poor.

My problem is now that you cannot make an appointment by phone, you have to go in person, wait for your file to be pulled and make another appointment. A turnaround time of about 3 hours. It may be an idea for them to ask all their providers of capital ( the members ) what their posture should be . This is not Sweden , but South African . When banging on and virtue signalling about inequity and saying we need change it to focus on changing peoples capacity to look after themselves and their children . The root cause of anxiety and tension is unmet expectations , but every election cycle the government over promises and under delivers . Here we go again , free healthcare , extended and increased Covid grants . You are a little misguided Mr CEO. The woman who falls in you office have been paying diligently for years every month R5000 to be able to enjoy the best medical care. The guy from Alex haven't contributed a cent yet expect the same care?

How about putting the shoe on the other foot - get gov's short, medium + long term plans on the table, with projections re population growth, expected foreigners, pre-programmed plagues, with budgets for each plan including how it will influence taxes + the fiscus to pay for it all.
Speculation on how it may or cannot work, is inviting all + sundry to guess + to present their bucket list. What SA do need is more transparency re taxes spent. Guessing games unfortunately is not good enough anymore.

Lets get rid of BEE so that private sector can be on its own and politicians no longer benefit, that way none of these two do favours for each other. The government should pursue making it easier for small businesses to access the market and make the competition fair.

They are communists, and communists do not tolerate small businesses. There are no private businesses in Cuba, except maybe the taxi drivers using bicycles towing little carts to carry you around.

I think, and we think, that it's entirely inequitable that the majority of South Africans have poor access to high quality mansions and luxury cars, relative to what Ryan Noach has. And it's also not fair that people, only a kilometer from where he's sitting, don't have access to his many luxury vehicles and holiday homes. No, they have to walk, use a taxi to get around and stay in a shack, while Noach has the pick of several luxury cars and holiday homes. That not fair. That’s not tenable. So, we do have an unsustainable, unequitable and unbearable situation. What a cloud of hot air! Do they ever listen to themselves? Who in their right mind actually believes this BS? Furthermore, it is strongly my view, we need change. And Mr Noach seemingly agrees with this, so why doesn’t he start by spreading some of his love? Nahhh! It’s just lip service. Humanistic and Communist pipedreams that can never come to successful fruition. But hey, he’s got to toe the party line as to not become state enemy #1. Where the hell do people get this “it’s your right” to this or that idea from? Everything good is a bloody privilege man! Nobody owes you nothing! He's right about the food supply analogy though.

There's really no need for this whole NHI beast, the operating theaters in govt hospitals work as well as private hospitals, it's the ward management, infrastructure maintenance and attitudes if nursing staff that needs to change in govt facilitiea
