“A non-stop HORROR film!” | Bayern & Tuchel’s IDENTITY CRISIS

- Bayern Munich’s season is threatening to go completely off of the rails now after yet another loss in the Bundesliga, and a first leg loss to Lazio in the Champions League. Not only are results going awry, but Thomas Tuchel’s tactics are failing to bring the best out of this Bayern Side, as Bayer Leverkusen’s triumph in the Bundesliga feels inevitable. This Bayern season is on the edge of disaster if things don’t turn around quickly. Hence, plenty of links of Zidane to Bayern, Flick back to Bayern… and even Solskjaer to Bayern?
NOTE: 24 hours after publishing this video, Tuchel and Bayern announced they are parting ways at the end of the season.

Everyone making fun of Kane because it’s easy, when he’s been the least of their problems all season
Yeah if anything he solved one of their problems. Replacing Lewandowski is not an easy job
@@destianpatrianagara1119Even with Kane's slump of late, he's still leading the goalscoring race in the BuLi.
He’s quite literally been one of the few bright spots. Now imagine the situation if he weren’t playing at a historic pace
honestly getting tired of the curse memes, the team just isnt on his level
It's because Premier League fans aren't very smart, so rather than trying to learn about football they just land with an easy meme-able out
Julian Nagelsmann having the laugh of his life. If only Oliver Khan didnt panic to save himself 🤣🤣🤣
bro it was things like his gf leaking tactics to the media and him having a fallout with the board was y he was sacked.
@@kaustavborgohain5161 Thats messed up. Known a few career died because of their... partner's opinion. Red flag much.
@@kaustavborgohain5161 It's like the Casillas thing all over again
weve won the league 11 seasons in a row, im okay with that streak ending but what i cant stand is watching this team play terrible football. and i hate that tuchel is freezing out some of our best players. imo de ligt was the best cb in the world last season, he got nutmegged once in the supercup and since that tuchel hates him. if we dont get rid of this moronic coach we’re gonna lose de ligt, kimmich and tel, and that is just unforgivable
Hey Knauss, great to see you still around!
Yeah, I hear you: bad football + solid results? Acceptable. Sometimes good football + mediocre results can be tolerated if the vision is clear. But bad, aimless football with bad results... yeesh.
The De Ligt nutmeg part made me laugh.😂 Tuchel can't stand the secondhand embarrassment and banished him to the shadow realm!
De Ligt best CB in the world?? 😂
@@kevtrot6731yea like wtf is this guy smoking 😂
Honestly, I don’t watch Bayern often, but when I do, it’s always Upamecano disaster.
U mean Upamaguire lol. Maguire has now even really improved in the EPL
I am glad Maguire has improved this season and no more Maguire memes and am glad he proved me wrong
In my opinion, Tuchel was never the right appointment for Bayern. Appointing a defensive coach to a team with probably the strongest attacking identity in Europe is absurd.
Exactly, this was never going to work.
It's all because they panicked that anyone else would get Tuchel. They threw their Treble chances into the trash purely for a mere outburst of selfishness.
So Tuchel is considered a defensive coach now?
100% agreed. Tuchel has had issues with every club that he's ever coached.
He's more of a bad coach than a defensive one if we're being honest.
@@kuromori6200Yup real Madrid was also looking for tuchel, they had lost league to Barca n Ancelotti was pretty interested in managing Brazil. Thank God, they didn't sign Tuchel 😅
Bayern signed Eric Dier. No further discussion needed.😅
Agree. He was failure at Tottenham. Lol..
Let's face is Tuchel didn't even win last season Dortmund lost, he just seems not get the balance right.
To be fair hiring Tuchel was a bad idea for Bayern from the beginning because he is an opposite of what Bayern stands for, but I'm happy that Bayer using this in their advantage and about to win Bundesliga for the first time in their history.
I'm also hoping that Leverkusen win the Bundesliga, so that the board wakes up and realise that there needs to be a rebuild for the team.
The way bayern play is like how united play now..where you ask yourself how they won. theres not been many convincing wins since his appointment. not to forget naglesman knocked out PSG with Messi Neymar and Mbappe due to his tactics with a squad that never replaced Lewa. The board never backed the wrong man.
United at least have slow defenders so ten haag has that excuse.
Tuchel has zero excuses.
Bayern under Nagelsmann would've knocked City out.
@@kuromori6200 I agree
@@Micfri300 they have Upamaguire… ah sorry Upamecano is it?
Don't you dare to forget choupo moting lol
As someone following Bayern very closely the Club has lots of problems:
1) The squad is to small. Tuchel pointed it out before the start of the season - there is not enough quality players to go through the season and back up injued starters.
2) Tuchel himself. I was pro Tuchel when they decided to go for him. However, he proved how stubborn he is. He is not able to adapt his playstyle to the team and rather wants them to play the way he imagines - even though that doesn't work out. He obviously favours certain players (Upa, Sané, Minjae, Goretzka...) and seems to dislike others (Tell, De Licht, Kimmich). IMO he doesn't know how to maintain a positive spirit and rather creates a toxic one.
3) Overpaid players: Oh my... You wouldn't believe how much Neuer and Muller still earn even though they can't back it up by consistent, good performances anymore. And then you have players like Gnabry and Sané who are not performing despite being in the best age of a footballer.
4) Mia san mia: Bayern lost it's identity. Tuchel favours a really defensive approach which doesn't suit Bayern at all. Bayern was known for high work rate and cautious, well timed attacks with a decent output in attack. The past month they barely converted and the amount of chances Bayern managed to create was the worst i have ever seen from them.
5) Flügelzange: Bayern's wingers are not able to replace Robbery. Sané and Coman have all the talent in dribbling but their passing and shooting has sunday league quality, which makes Bayern a one trick pony on the wings.
Any coach who thinks Eric Dier is gonna improve his squad is making a very serious statement
😂😂
Career suicide😂
"I'm a twat" is the statement I'm thinking of.
He’s been surprisingly good
Would you be interested in making a video about Stade Brestois?
This is currently, by far, the best season in club history, one which could result in their first ever qualification for Europe in over 70 years of existence. There's a fascinating story to tell, from going bankrupt and slowly climbing back, to various great names that played there such as Ribéry (a few years before going to Munich) Makélélé or José Luis Brown, to the story of the Brest president going up against the Colombian drug cartel.
Quite the contrast to an historic team that is currently in a downward trajectory me-thinks
lol
Bayern, Juve and Barcelona need to sort themselves, they're making it so easy for Man City like this team might win a straight consecutive Treble like it's a Reality...the Original Kings of Europe need to save football.
Real will stop them. At the end football is heritage
Tuchel wants bayern to play like they are a mid table team and not a powerhouse we all know they are. Why else would you ask for eric dier?
Not to mention he seems to hate his players, sure they are hard to manage but dude is the manager.
He is too small for Bayern
Chelseas downfall absolutely started with TT. Before directors came Boehly mainly listened to Tuchel , making bad to horrible transfers combine this with TT's very passive style of play devoided of any creative ideas and cohesion against middle table teams made us unwatchable . He pushed for 100 Lukaku signing and failed to integrate him in system. After that UCL run we went on irreversibly downard spiral in every department possible . Not to mention he lost all domestic finals including FA cup against leicester in shocking diaplay . He simply is not as good coach as people may think he is ....
Agreed, he's a fraud.
Tuchels Squad Management is abysmal. Everyone agrees that de Ligt is our best defender, but currently it seems like he’s the 4th option at CB. If he leaves this summer It’ll be unforgivable…
Alonso showed the entire league that he is just a better manager in every regard. Tuchel has shown that he lacks a lot. A good manager doesn't loose the trust of his team, that just doesn't happen when you are actually good in what you are doing.
6:48 you forgot to mention that in 2015, they lost the 3 games after winning the league. This is the first time they have lost back-to-back-to back league games in an active title race since 1992.
Tuchel and bayern directors are the architects of their own problems.
Upamacano cost Bayern so many points, including the Champions League.
Kimmich and Goretzka can leave. Unthinkable just a few years ago.
A full rebuild is long overdue.
I think the one costing them the CL was Juan Bernat - actually
@@paulhill4382 Great reference.
I don't think a rebuild is needed. This is a pretty good squad.
But the manager isn't able to get the best.
Plus it's cheaper and easier to change the manager.
De Ligt is a much better choice .
Surely either goretzka or kimmich leave. They're both box2box midfielders and it's good to keep one and pair him up with a destroyer type CDM makelele style. I do agree though that Bayern playing 2 b2b midfielders together for so many years is criminal considering I think they're both at the very least top 15 maybe top 10 in the world in that role. And yeah upamecano has crumbled under the pressure a couple times now and de ligt needs his chance in that position
It’s fascinating to watch when serial winners face adversity. They’ve won for so long they don’t know what it means to adapt anymore. It’s like a deer in headlights
They've not been able to beat an elite team since 2013. And even back then they had a habit of loosing in the two matches that counted. And ever since 2020 the regression has been turbocharged. Loosing the Heads-up to Dortmund in the Bundelsiga never mattered because they were consistently better against the little teams.
@@Circialdidn’t they spank Barcelona 8-2 a few years ago?
@@pysky4u was in 2020 during covid. My statement was more about Bayern not being able to beat Real Madrid and Manchester CIty since their victory in 2013. They also fumbled in 2010 and 2012.
If they really were a team of serial winners with a great mentality they would have sometimes come out on top against these all-round better teams. It just hasn't happend for a decade now.
@@Circial dude… the copium… again, they murded barcelona completely and won the freaking CL agains PSG.
@@meganoob12 PSG is a team with even worse cohesion than Bayern.
And yes, the 2020 CL (and 2021 CL) cant be compared to now or before.
Predicted that from the start. The way and the reason they fired Nagelsmann for was ridiculous and hardly anyone in the team understood it. A good amount of players where really disappointed by Salihamidzic and Kahn because of that. Some were even hostile towards Tuchel from the start for taking over Nagelsmann's job. Will be interesting to see if these players will show better performances now, knowing Tuchel will be gone soon.
Amazing video, very well explained! 🎉
Simply the best football channel on the Tube alongside Calcio Berlin, great work man!
Amazing as always
It's time to bring Conte and to get rid of some unmotivated players like Sane, Goretzka.
Quality of these videos is what makes a difference 🔥
Appreciated pal!
and it’s now confirmed he won’t be coach at the end of the season
Tuchel arrived at the worst time possible, while undermining Kimmich in Summer. (He was right about Kimmich tho, dude has been absolute ass the entire season and thats not on the Manager alone).
The Stanisic goal was crazy ironic.
Stanisic who was deemed not ready for bayern scores a goal against them because their new 30mio€ defender Boey screwed up terribly in his first match.
I missed you bro💗
While i was watching this video, the news came that Tuchel is leaving at the end of the season.
Swag video bossman 😎🤙
I'm a simple man, I see a video of Adrian and I smash the like button!
the most important player on a team is the manager shout out to Xavi Alsonso 23/24 manager of the season respect
Imagine if they actually sack Tuchel and replace him with Ole...
Bayern has become Spursy. I wonder why
That stache is a work of art
Another brilliant analysis from Pedro Pascal.
That this is the one season after so long to not win anything at Bayern(probably) also must surely take a toll on Harry Kane. The man came here to finally get a major trophy and then it somehow collapses around him. And he even plays better than Lewandowski at some points.
Harry Kane brought his ‘BottleJob’ DNA from North London to Germany with him. 🤷🏿♂️. ⚽️
I think that Bayerns well constructed "Wizard Of Oz" type setup is finally unraveling tbh.
It's a club that to outsiders looks extremely well run and everyone seems to know their roles and people get along handsomely.
But for years we've been getting little reports of clashings in that club and it usually gets swept under the rug. They usually have a grip on media in Germany.
The mask is slipping this time.
This is what I was surprised that wasn't covered in the video. The board of directors who built that team left/forced out, these players clashing with previous managers and forcing them out, a team that is not built to compliment each other (hence why they've been struggling in champs recently).
Easy to blame Tuchel, but this does feel like a long time coming
@@joshbrown2217 It really does feel that way. Tuchel just seems to be the man to expose everything since as I've observed.
He isn't a yes man.
He unraveled P.S.Gs fabricated fairytale setup as well.
8:26 Tuchel wanted to sign a defensive midfielder along with Kimmich not to replace him
This is standard Tuchel. Two years tops before everyone hates him. Do you not remember his Dortmund run
of course we can argue if the bayern team is too overrated but it doesnt lead anywhere. I mean they should still be better than Bochum or even Lazio. They are almost all champions league winners or a record goal scorer from the premier league...
I think a more competitive league will be better both for Bayern in the UCL and the german national team.
Yes!! Bayern have shot themselves in the foot internationally by sabotaging every potential domestic threat for years.
19 months and no tactics
Yeah. The players are going to get him sacked if they aren't happy with him. It's crazy how this all went to the dogs so quickly. What a spiral. I'm keen to see how Olli would fair
joao paulinha could have been fit perfectly in bayer midfield and it would cost them a trophyless season
Nagelsmann got fired in the middle of a Champions League run just for Tuchel to last a season and a half 😂...life lol.
But memes and jokes aside, its just unfortunate the timing of it all. Coz Bayern have been having issues upstairs since even before either Nagelsmann or Tuchel were appointed. So they probably would have been in this same position with Nagelsmann since Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen is playing historically good but that whole short term boost they were going for with Tuchel didn't pan out. I think Bayern figured they could have done what Chelsea did and basically have a short term boost maybe win a trophy or two and then blow it all up. Similar to what happens with Conte teams.
Great watch as always and loved the nuance in the video. Coz Tuchel has been bad vibes for them but he'd have comfortably beat challengers from previous years, he just happens to be bringing bad vibes whilst up against a relentless Leverkusen.
Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen confirmed this morning that Tuchel will leave the FC Bayern in Summer 2024.
Keep that mustache Adrien
You got it man.👨

Mane's vodoo is working wonders for how he was treated.
TT seems to be a very difficult personality and he usually blames his players than himself. Although he was quite successful in Mainz, it seems that nobody was crying a tear that he leaved.
Swapping Nagelsmann for Tuchel was by far the most perplexing manager decision ever by Bayern. Who could have guessed that things had the potential to get even more complicated...?
Who knew that spurs-itis was so contagious?
Tuchel's style is similar to conte with little more aggression & pressing.
no fluke chelsea winning UCl
he is not a manager who plays 4-3-3 with highline atatcking football.
Tuchel can do wonders with Atletico, Inter, Milan, Chelsea may be juventus also Newcastle.
its like Emery-Arsenal.
he is a miss fit for bayern and vice versa.
FC Hollywood may have finally played itself out. All these egos in the playing staff, coaching staff and boardroom was a dangerous mix that was always going to blow up eventually.
But are the allegations of Tuchel losing the locker room of every team and getting into petty feuds with individual players true?
this has been the most interesting season of bundesliga in a decade.
Mike Ox-Cheesy
Psychologically, I don't think he was ready to coach Bayern, given his relationship/ties to BVB. I'm just saying. 💁♂
You look like Pedro Pascal in today's video
Me being a Bayern fan blood dropping off my eyes it's not leverkusen it's us they are playing a fantastic season we were but we dipped idk if it's tuchel or not but this in sure tuchel playstled was and never will bee for us tht defensive movement diminishes our playstyle just NY thoughts nd I feel we need either get a manager who has counter attacking strategies or sfaight ass attacking dominance
Arsenal to Harry Kane: “Haw Haw!” 👈😏😂
Tuchel is like Rafa Benitez ....... will keep getting offer from big teams untill he is found out
Julian will be like thank god
been Leverkusen and Arsenal (the amlost teams) fan since the 90s, but even more so anti-bayern fan, so Im not too sad about them atm ^^
I'm also rooting for Leverkusen and the title is pretty much on the horizon, but I don't wanna jinx them
Bayern losing the league isn’t the end of the world. They’ll probably buy some leverkusen players in the summer and win the league next season.
As they Always do
10:21 welllllll.... Schalke have finished second in the Bundesliga 8 times and have never won it haha
Tuchel needs to go , not at the end of the season but now. It's completely obvious he has lost the dressing room. We won't play good football again until someone better get's in charge. Upamecano plays all the time and make horrific mistakes and de light is wasting his life on the bench like a reserve player. He needs to play, he is better than upemecano who makes far too many far to big mistakes for beeing a unquestioned starter.
Bayern shoulud be doing much better under Tuchel's management...
The only positive thing touchel has done this season is encouraging the signing of Harry Kane and I just hope that if he is sacked Kane will not also want to leave
I love when giants get overthrown but I really hoped Kane would get one title before that happened
Feeling awkward about the st Pauli report, I'm sorry if it gets old, but still. We lost our unbeaten run, but after that we won again and we are still on the tippy top of the league
Bochum are in no way a "mid table team" they are the definition of a relegation team
Tuchel & Chelsea was a perfect combination lol
Coaches are always the scapegoats so he will get sacked but the team has a lot other issues.
It was never going to work from the start. Tuchels system just doesnt fit the squad and the mentality of Bayern.
The biggest thing for me is that he has never succeeded at a highly favorited team. Couldnt do it at PSG, won a CL as an underdog at Chelsea but when expectations got high he crumbled, and now at Bayern where he has been dreadful.
He falls into a mindset where if he can just bully a few important players the rest will fall in line. In sport the players will out last the coach. Its true in all US sports and usually the case in Football. There only a few exceptions for the likes of Pep, Klopp, Arteta, Uhrs Fischer. A guy with less of a pedigree than the players he manages wont do well especially when they inflate thier own ego.
I guess problem start by nagelsmann. And not by tuchel
Sacking Naglesmann was the most stupid decision I've ever seen from bayern!
Tuchel has always been a mid coach at best. He even admitted to being shocked that Chelsea won it all against Pep's Man City in the CL. Not only are his so called "tactics" no fit for Bayern, but alienating an entire locker room is nothing new for Tuchel. He's managed to do it at pretty much every he's club managed since Dortmund.
Also, Tuchel scrapping Bayern's signature attacking style to "adjust" to Xabi's Leverkusen and reverting to a back three? That in and of itself should be a sackable offense at Bayern. Bayern never play scared, Bayern doesn't adjust for anybody, it is everyone else that has to adjust to Bayern. The motto is "Mia San Mia" (We Are Who We Are) for a reason. Never in all my time I've watched this club have I seen a coach utterly emasculate a squad with such world-class talent and potential as Thomas Tuchel has. No excuse.

12:58 subliminal messages in my football TH-cam? "World war 2?"👀
Is he still on course for 85 points in the Bundesliga or nah?
tottenham dna is real😅
Tuchel is not Bayern material however good he was previously as simple as that.
Bayern needs to sack him immediately otherwise whole squad will disintegrate.
Already Kimmich and Deligt are not comfertable in the team, every single player have regressed under him.
Sucks for bayern fans, pretty entertaining for neutrals I guess? Gun to my head I guess I'd be a Stuttgart man myself but this year you do have to hope Alonso gets Leverkusen their first title
Dont listen to the fans dont sack him
Look at man united
Fans will still pressure the new manager causing him to fail
I didn't understand or like the Tuchel hire, right before City too!! I say we bring back Hansi Flick
Yeah but he might want the barca job
I gotta say (as a Bayern supporter) - that's probably one of the most balanced and truthful summaries of the issues... One thing to remember - the transfer windows were awful... Tuchel never got the players he wanted - apart from Kane. Turmoil in the leadership didn't help - together with players lacking drive, form and overall chemistry (as you can see under Nagelsmann in the German national team).
Its easy to blame Tuchel in this case. But when football suffers like this in big clubs, its not just the Manager. A manager does not get to control everything. This is a problem from the higher levels it self. And yes you are right, Bayern need a 'reovery/remake' period. And rightfully we were going through that slowly with Nagelsman. Yes there are standards to upkeep in Bayern, but I still look at that period as a missed opertunity when Nagelsman was sacked for Tuchel. It was a too rushed decision that did not fit.
Its extremely obvious Tuchel will get sacked, he has already lost the dressing room. But he is not the cause. This whole director board - and some fans even needs to take a look at themselves, to Bayern and stop living in past dreams or grandiose. There is work to be done and serious attention to be given. If this is not done, the next coach will face the same problem and will be like MUFC.
Naah you sign Eric Dier in the Jan transfer window it's all on you
@@danielmuriithi8486 you know its not the manager who decides all the transfers in modern football clubs? this is not SAF era. There are sporting directors for that. A manager is only just one input.
First of all Leverkuesen (I think I misspelled the name) has been fantastic and fully deserve to win the league. I think back to 2002 (the season Michael Ballack was with them) and they had a chance to do the treble (League, Leagu Cup and Champions League) and unfortunately won nothing.
Second of all Thomas Tuchel is literally his own worse enemy. When he had a strained relationship at PSG and said that he had to be a "Politician" over there, I put that down to the toxic atmosphere created at PSG. When he left Chelsea (having a strained relationship with Boehly and Clear Lake) again I put that down to the current circumstances and naturally gave Tuchel benefit of doubt. However whats going on Bayern Munich has left little doubt in my mind that Tuchel is problematic and the chances of working for another big club (in either Spain or Italy) simply wont happen
There's bigger things in the backroom rather than the coach. Tactical Tommy is a beta coach than the German Tony hawk

Bayern bought the one and only Eric Dier. Nuff said.
