    Hi Prateek, I watched your video on GMAT online Proctor. It really helped.Just want to ask one question.
    I have a wall beside my study table where I want to take my GMAT exam ,so on that wall I have motivational posters stuck. Although it is mentioned in the official website, that the Proctor will inspect the walls. Would it be a problem for me, if the proctor suggests to remove them.Is it better to change my place?

      Hi,
      Ideally I would insist on the wall being empty without the posters. In case the posters can be removed, please remove the posters. However in case the posters cannot be removed, cover them with a cloth. A simple plain cloth if possible.
      Hope I was able to answer your question.
      All the very best.

    do i have to do college selection early and send my scores as soon as i get them or we can wait and give the results after a period of time
    like if i did my gmat in june and i want to send my results in december would this work or not?

    • @pratikj415
      @pratikj415  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi,
      Unfortunately, you cannot send your score after a particular period of time.
      Once you receive your scores, you will have 48 hours to send your scores to your choice of 5 B-Schools.
      Any schools you will be sending scores to after the 48 hours, will have to pay an extra fee.
      Hope I was able to answer your question.
      All the very best.

      @@pratikj415 can you tell me how should I select the BSchools after my results, should I always aim for the best ones around my GMAT score or should I also select one or two schools whose requirements are lower for admission safety

      Hi,
      Good question. Plan 3 schools that suit your requirements and GMAT Score, and as backup select one or two schools whose requirements are lower for admission safety.
      Hope this helps.
      All the very best :)

    Hi sir
    Sir i am an average student from Mumbai, sir i was searching for GMAT courses. I came across magoosh. I wanted to know that is it really worty it? Bcz i saw few reviews they are saying that it has shorter videos compare to others. I am totally confused regarding gmat course can you please help sir

    • @pratikj415
      @pratikj415  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi,
      Magoosh is said to be one of the pioneers in GMAT prep. However each person's requirements are different. One applicant would want in depth knowledge from scratch, whereas one person would want overall basic guidance about how to approach the exam.
      What I would insist on doing is have a chat with their sales executives and try to check if they can provide what you are searching for.
      Hope I was able to answer your question.
      All the very best.

    Hi Prateek, I watched all the videos which is very very helpful. Thank you for your videos. I have one doubt in score sending , if i am sending score report this year but i am planning to pursue my mba later like in the coming year, is it fine sending now or how it exactly works?

    • @pratikj415
      @pratikj415  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Pavithra,
      Actually you have send your score immediately after you receive your score in your mba.com account. Once you send the score to your respective B-school, the score remains with the B-School for a period of 5 years. You send your Application anytime during these 5 years.
      Hope I was able to answer your question.
      All the very best !!!

    Hi! Pratik,
    Ty for the gmat and mim videos. Given the lack of videos that give an indian perspective on things, really really appreciate the efforts u are putting in. I am in the midst of my gmat prep journey and I would really love to discuss and get your opinion on a couple of queries I had about mim. Is there any way we can connect?

      Hi,
      Really appreciate your kind words on my videos.
      You can drop your queries and questions on any of my TH-cam Videos. I will definitely reply back.
      I would prefer you asking questions publicly as many aspirants have similar questions, so your question could clear doubts of many other aspirants.
      Hope I was able to help you out.
      All the very best.

      Sure!
      My questions are -
      1. I've heard that landing a job after mim is down to your connections, however, I am the first generation from my family to be going abroad with little to no acquaintances. What are the realistic chances of me getting a decent job after mim that'll give a good ROI if I do my mim from a top-10 FT ranked college.
      2. Suppose I finance my entire mim education by loans, how many years will I have to work abroad to repay the loan while living a decent life as well. Basically how many years down the line should I be thinking of returning back to India.
      3. If I return back to India after 3 years of work-ex post mim, what is the realistic scenario of getting a job in India that'll pay me the same if not more than what I would be earning at my job abroad?
      Would love a detailed blunt reality check even if it sends expectations crashing :)

    • @pratikj415
      @pratikj415  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi,
      1) Yes!!! You are absolutely right. Finding a Job after MIM is all on the connections that you make during your MIM course in college. If you go to a good B-School which has good alumni network, it will help you get a job which will definitely help your have a good ROI.
      2) I would say consider a timeline of 3 to 5 years, as that is an average that students work abroad to get the required experience and recover their loan amount
      3) Sorry to say my friend, it would be very difficult to move back to India and earn higher than what you are already earning in the US/UK. India has its own benchmark in terms of GDP and economy, so the salaries paid here are comparatively lesser. However even in those salaries you can still manage a comfortable lifestyle in India. You have a good chance of earning a decent amount of money if you take a transfer in the same company from the US/UK to India. In this case you may not end up coming to your home town.
      Hope I was able to answer all your questions.
      All the very best.
