Enjoyed this look and review of the KO Hellboy! I have the original and Abe tucked away in storage, but I'm afraid it might have fallen to pieces by now as I haven't looked at it in years. If I need to replace any parts, this will certainly make for a good source to rebuild everything that the Hot Toys version may have lost over time. If you missed out on the original HT version, this still looks to be a decent representation of Hellboy to display in any collection, especially after making similar upgrade mods that you have already done in your other video!
Marlo the Collector yeah I had hellboy for a brief period too. It made me nervous as it had started to degrade and the black clam shell of the box started to fall apart etc turned out the seller had kept it in a shed for years.
I have this as well. Purchased it new in 2020 for $65. All I did was add a dry wipe of silver to the guns and it looks great. Even the faux leather has held up well, but today I'm going to add a conditioner to it. Maybe, just maybe, the faux leather material this knock off used it of better quality... LOL
I think LC/HC not meant for quality, their company more focused on ‘budget’ figure, which, for the money, is not bad at all in my opinion, and i think this hellboy pretty good on term on quality and accessories love this HC/LC content man!
@@ONESIXTHCAVE Whatttt really?? Nooooooooo, i thought LC can give me a hope for us that can’t buy Hot Toys, i really really want Hot Toys Iron Patriot, but before they were around $200-$250, and now they around $400-$600, i ended up bought LC one, not brilliant but worth the money 😂
a little bit. It’s definetly undersized compared to the artoys/damtoys hellboy. I recall the hot toy being a bit small aswell though compared to more modern 1/6 scale figures
Genuine Hot Toys Hellboy suffered a lot of issues being shorter, weaker lower leg plastics, rubber upper body mold that split the elbows as well as the pants deterioration issues that many suffered for the earlier figs MMS83 300-400 for genuine is not worth it at best this HC option is better poseable option and will probably last forever.
ExoticCarsGalore agree. I had the Hot Toy and I was certain it was near the end of it’s life. I actually had fun with this and taken loads of pics posing it.
For 60 pounds this is AMAZING 👏 The HotToys quality almost ALWAYS doesn't match the EU prices and as I see from your video, that figure looks almost like the Hellboy by HotToys......but it's minimum 4 times cheaper 👍
I'm planning on picking it up I do customs so I'll do some touch ups on it for my liking and the price is good for me. but I'm in Canada and the ko in my money is a little over a $100
Saw this when I was comparing prices on the dx11 ko. I have that on the way and will do a vid. Like this it needs some work but this is surprisingly good. Dont think the joker will be as good going by the pictures of the head sculpts but a good option for weathering repainting etc and good value for the money.
Sparks Tron same here waiting for joker to arrive brexit and hong kongs political issues are putting everything on the go slow. But yeah at least there will be loads of accessories and clothing to mod. Will do a vid too. Do you have hellboy?

Hope it's better than some of the pics I've seen, but not sure what to expect. Like you I have a morbid curiosity or am a gluten for punishment "can it be that bad" " can I salvage the heads with a repaint".I am hopefull I can polish the turd a bit anyway. Havn't bought the hellboy and like the art toys one more for scale.Havnt got that either but it's a nice one. Mine was dispatched today via speedpak so hopefully comes in a week or two. Hopefully boris dosnt snatch it at customs.
Thanks for the video. For me, that's an incredible knock off. Obviously, it doesn't have same quality of Hot Toys, but I think (for the price) it is a very good alternative. Go on with this kind of videos!
If there is a choice between HT and this product. Which would you choose? I just have a choice to take this product, or pay about 120 bucks more and get the HT version, but with shabby pants in the shin area...
Kirill Chudaev oh man that is a tough one. I’d say hot toys version as it’s a quality museum piece. You can grab one of these a little later to scrap for parts and improve any issues further down the road.
I love my knock off Joker 2.0 (after i hacked the problems) and my MK43 Ironman (with olive skin Tony Stank under the mask) they really are good enough and the right price!! If you're model/mini grounded, most details found lacking may be enhanced with some tidy paint apps looking at the hottoys for reference...Yes its cheeky but in a way, so is $400-$500 NZD per figure from Hot Toys...

Are 3rd Parties knock offs? This is really confusing. I get that they base their action figures on already existing action figures, but they do made kind of their own things about the action figure tho. So why do people call them knock offs most of the times rather than simply calling it a third party collectible?

Thanks the factory that produced them was shut down so no more HC. Sad as I did enjoy reviewing them out of curiosity.

I've been wanting a HB figure since i found out they exist. Now im able to afford a collectable like this im dying to get one

Darren Rowe that’s the best way to utilise this guy. Scrap him for parts for other figures or get customising.
