I didn't get the Goshuin stamps at the temples and shrines this time around, but I definitely want to on the next visit when I can get a special goshuincho (stamp book) for those.
So. I've been on a variety of trains, but never a high speed train. How was the actual ride? I'm sure the seats and amenities were nice, but traveling at that high of a speed? I don't know.
The ride was surprisingly smooth and very relaxing. If I wasn't looking out the window, I wouldn't even know we were traveling so fast. You don't feel it, which is good. It's crazy the speeds the shinkansen can go up to!
