Thoughts on the upcoming Maximatic Gojo figure? Imho it’s the only figure that captures his energy and likeness. Of course that’s only going from screen shots.
I see what you mean about the Maximatic Gojo figure. His personality and the accurate sculpt really shine through on that one! Really impressive for it being a considered a prize figure.

Yes I’d love to get glass display cases in the future, but that’ll be when I have more space. For now, bookshelves are working well for both the books and figures.
@CollectorBee there are some really nice stackable ones with lighting, available on taobao. Acrylic though

Well, we started off strong. I have just finished my first read through of Evangelion and (no surprises) I loved it. I haven’t seen the anime yet, but the art book looks absolutely gorgeous and it was a treat to see. Personally, I only have 2 art books so far even though I’be been in to manga for over 2 years now. Femme Fatale (Shuzo Oshimi) and the Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku volume. There was an oversize manga released in the first quarter of 2023 that is the same size as your average art book. As it’s been almost 2 years I don’t know if we’ll see a volume 2, but the art is among the most beautiful and expressive I’ve seen, so maybe check out some samples online. It’s called Otohime Diver. We got them at the department store called Hands (formerly Tokyu Hands) there in Japan. Lightweight and compact chairs for sure 👍 Found them in the camping section of the store.
