Hey David, there's a song that was cut from Dear Evan Hanson before it hit Broadway because they wanted to focus on Evan's point of view for the play but the song is absolutely gorgeous and emotionally devastating. I highly recommend it, it's called In The Bedroom Down The Hall and is a song in the point of view of Evan and Conner's mothers. Chirimo did an animatic for it that goes perfect with the song. The video with that animatic is called (DEH)In the Bedroom Down the Hall Animatic
Ben Platt really does have a wonderful voice. I really hope that he is remembered for his Broadway performance rather than the movie musical of DEH(which wasn't great). Side note, if you want to nerd out to some really complex musician's music, you should react to some Stephen Sondheim. Some songs that leap to mind are "Finishing the Hat" performed by Mandy Patinkin from Sunday in the Park with George and "Ladies Who Lunch" performed by Patti Lupone from Company. (Also "(Not) Getting Married Today" from that same show sung by Madeline Kahn.)

I suffer a lot from anxiety and other things no one cares to hear about. So every time i hear this song it sends constant goosebumps down my body. The message in the song is so sad and i relate to it.

After listening to that masterpiece, you definitely need to listen to Words Fail, it's one of those songs that uses one of the more calmer part of WTaW in it but this time makes it the upper power and makes it more meaningful, if that makes sense, its basically the sequel and its my personal favorite.

After listening to that masterpiece, you definitely need to listen to Words Fail, it's one of those songs that uses one of the more calmer part of WTaW in it but this time makes it the upper power and makes it more meaningful, if that makes sense, its basically the sequel and its my personal favorite.
