Here is the problem we're facing with brand new Hyundai Creta 2020. The car comes with panoramic sunroof. Hyundai service centre guys are unable to fix the problem as of now.

Watch his shimla vlogs guys that he has posted earlier on his channel. These guys were sitting on the sunroof glass during their journey and now he is not mentioning it in this video. The sunroof is not meant to sit upon. Just badmouthing Hyundai brand.

There can be any of the two Reasons

StronGly suspect a wrong / very rough usage of the car and its sun roof . Being an owner of the Sx( O ) diesel manual 2020 model , I am facing no issues at all with the sun roof . This may be one in a million case .
I think you should escalate your case with Hyundai and ask for a free replacement , if there has been no external damage from your end .

Yes it's a big problem and almost everyone face it our family and distance relative all have 4 cars with sun roof ... they all (3) got this problem , we did got till yet because my dad takes good care of car . You have to use the sun roof every 2 days if you don't it gets stick and Hyundai don't solve the issue in till motor is dead , so if you self lubricate the edges and clean the roof properly the problem doesn't come . Many forget to clean the sunroof proper its much for sensitive to dust then you think .
We have drive car about 31k km and it's still good little noise is there when closing but works ok .
Sunroof rails are filled with some particles for sure... And your friend was also sitting on it... Maybe that be the issue with the sunroof..
Use WD40 Spray in rubber parts and cavities to friction less , hope they worked again smoothly

Sunroof is just a selling point in India just as the daytime running lights are ! By adding a sunroof you are just increasing an additional electro mechanical gadget that could potentially fail under user certain use case though the company would have tested it at their end for possible scenarios.
Also, motor controlled devices like Power windows and sunroof should be best operated with the engine in running condition...and not as you demonstrated !

The sunroof rails were definitely damaged and if we notice, the motor stops to push the glass further, at the point where his friends were seated.
He is just exploiting the TH-cam platform to twist Hyundai's arm, to get this fixed for free.

There is always a mechanical close option available, headliner need to be removed... It's not that much difficult..you need to read Owner's Manual before this comment...

The guide rails gets bogged with leafs and debris and dirt ... Check for the water drain pipe . And use WD-40 to lubricate the guiderails .... Even car windows get bogged with dirt .. .. hopefully ur issue resolved by now. . tc .

बारिश में नमी की वजह से केबल( clutch wire type) मै हल्की rust आने लगती है उस वजह से ऐसा होता है जिसके लिए चैन मै use किया जाने वाला स्प्रे से lubricant करना होता है... Tata harrier मै सेम प्रॉब्लम मै सर्विस सेंटर ने यही किया.
Ab koe kuch nhi bolega, agar ye hi problem Tata Nexon or Tata Harrier में aa जाती to sab गाली देनी suru kar dete.😏😏

Always read the owner manual. It is clearly mentioned in cold or wet conditions sunroof will not work properly due to freezing conditions
Bro it is a aftermarket sunroof because look carefully at the side pillars of the car it does not have seat best height adjust that mean this is not a top model
