3 day old seal pup

September 2019.
Atlantic Grey Seals - Halichoerus grypus
Since 2017 a seal colony has started using a beach at the Great Orme, Llandudno, North Wales, UK.
Every year more baby seals are born, and the numbers of seals hauled out are growing.

I've gone and messed up! The pup is actually 3 days old in this video.
I'll have to post a newborn video today and change the age on the other videos.

I suspect this adorable seal pup is big older than 2 days old - as the umbilical cord has been dropped (which is usually when the pup is 3-5 days old) :)

It's a good job you commented because I've gone and messed up.
You're right. I've missed a day when it was born.
I'll have to post the newborn video today, and then change the ages in the other videos.
