The thing is, iPhone's photos since iphone 12 are all social media ready with sharpened textures and flattering faces and even skin-tones with no shadows. *The problem is with the iPhone's HDR.* Many would prefer it as it makes the image livelier but it boosts the bright spots(highlights) quite high. You can easily spot the iphone's overprocessing by looking at the roads, stairs and brick-works in low-light shots. *The deep fusion AI sometimes overdoes it and brings up the textures too much.* Google's AI is smart enough to keep things soft where it needs to be, like roads for example. Google on the other hand keeps it mostly natural and doesn't shy away from keeping the photos dull and letting the shadows appear on your face. It doesn't brighten the scene even after detecting a person in the frame tbh. So yeah, most may not like it but purists and professional photographers would appreciate it. Google just needs to fix thier portrait mode edge detection and they're good to go. Iphone clearly needs to tone down their processing and saturation and they need to work on their selfies too. *Btw, Pixel 7a doesn't have auto-focus in selfie camera, hence the softer images.* You kinda forgot Pixel's dual exposure mode, it's kinda crazy for Hdr shots. Cheers🥂
I'm using pixel 6 and it's not much bad how TH-camrs represent it. I also used an iphone, for portrait mode pro models are best. Otherwise the Pixel 6and 7 is better and not perfect every time.
@@zorin654 if u comparing iphone 14 with pixel 6 . I think the iPhone 14 is better for background blur. But it has only a single focal length of 26 mm, which is a little stretch of the results. On another side pixel 6 or 7a at portrait mode zoom the camera at 1.5x which looks good and because of higher megapixels have very good details. But overall if u want better portrait mode go for the iPhone 15 ,it is a great portrait mode.

WOW! very impressive results from Pixel 7a, given the price. Nice job.

Watch MKBHD video of blind camera phone camera comparison and 20 Million people voted for Pixel 7A but for video recording iphone is better
1st of all great video sir🔥, but you should have compared pixel 7 with iphone 14 nd not the pixel 7a💯

Even the 6a can beat the 14 in photos

Pixel 7a - wide and ultra wide cameras
iPhone - selfie and better video
I wish the portraits from Pixel were slightly better and experience of taking them was a bit better. I would have rated it so much higher.
What about cinematic video?
Pixel pics seem better in almost all scenarios. However video is better on iphone.

As a camera specially photos
Pixel is best
For the price, pixel camera is the best . Iphone prices are nearly double time the mid-range pixels

What about details on portrait mode many youtuber said it has very less details on portrait??
