lol i feel so bad watching this cause its like my usual spatfest experience. Except this fest was the BEST I've ever done lol (2 100X battle victories and an incredible win streak across all games) GGs though
I was in solo, mostly because I thought it would be the smallest team. I never noticed being in any mirror matches but I watched Dude stream and he was in a couple at least which seemed odd. Though it was nice to win lol
This Splatfest was freakishly skewed to Solo. I have no idea how much Red Bull the Solo team took for this one. I was actually really convinced Friends or Family got the vote win - I got quite a lot of Family mirrors for a team that got voted on the least.
japan has a massive agoraphobia problem (fear of social interactions/scenarios, e.g transport, events etc). A lot of japanese players (which is more than half the playerbase) picked it. I also believe that the question was wordered differently too, something like what do you like to do on your day off, or vacation?
I'm seeing in the comments that Team Family and Friends had lots of mirror matches???? I was on Solo and didn't get a *single* Mirror the entire weekend- and apparently we had the most votes so???? Literally what is happening-
I was on Team Solo, what a Hollow victory, I missed Ruler and a lot of Snails... by 100 fest rank points... I won a 100x... why isn't a 100x an actual reward, why must 100x be such a scam
Tricolor was the worst, attacking teams would easily win due to the map is easier for attacking team to protect their territory. If anything, this tricolor has reversed the role, because the defending team actually have to attack to get territory but at the same time they don't have the signals to help them
I picked family cause I love my family and I spend most of my time with them yes I like being alone at times but even then I crave that feeling of being around family. I didn’t participate in this splatfest tho cause of school/work.
Wow, that 100x battle was a sweep! I don't think I've ever seen you lose one of them, it's like he goes into super saiyan mode when you get one By the way, did anybody else notice the minute or so of black screen and silence halfway through the video? Strange.
Honestly, Crableg Capital is the worst Tri-color map yet. The Signal is the most protected by the terrain it's ever been, Crableg's gratings are the hardest ones to see through, and the defenders had no space to breath. On top of that, most of my non-ditto Tri-color matches were on defense (despite being on team Family), and for my ones on offense I kept getting teammates who wouldn't work with me to grab the Signal like you're supposed to. Several times I had everything set up for a clean Signal grab, Ink Vac and all, and they just didn't help, or did, but too late.
I see I was t the only one getting the weirdest comps while the enemy had the best comp they could possibly have, kinda makes it feel like like the match making but one or two good players with every two or three bad ones but that might just be me
I swear the real Judd most have taken a vacation because there was some absolutely bogus calls in terms of which team won. I personally played in 3 games where an easy 70/30 split was called the wrong way Though it’s good to know that the US was just playing a different Splatfest theme. I was convinced that somebody had really screwed up the results calculations when the results news claimed the majority of people wanted to spend Christmas alone
It was Japan who mostly picked soko by a longshot. If you didn't know, Japan is literally more than half the playerbase iirc. so with everyone over there being socially awkward, not really knowing how to conversate. A lot of people pick solo. Japan has a massive agoraphobia problem

I was in solo, mostly because I thought it would be the smallest team. I never noticed being in any mirror matches but I watched Dude stream and he was in a couple at least which seemed odd. Though it was nice to win lol
for me this splatfest was terible i have pickt team family and i have only plaid against team family in open, pro and tricolor battle idk why
Me when I lost my two 100x battles to Family because my teammates choked
Literally what is happening-
I've only seen faimly complain about mirror matches, I was on friends and didn't have a single one
And of course the first time i miss a splatfest i didnt even get to play and still won
I was on Team Solo, what a Hollow victory, I missed Ruler and a lot of Snails... by 100 fest rank points... I won a 100x... why isn't a 100x an actual reward, why must 100x be such a scam
Nothing will ever top Gear/Grub/Fun
Did anyone else experience matches where you got 0 points at the end during the splatfest?
Darn.
I always miss the events bc I can’t afford it darn
Just logically...who the hell will wanna spend holidays by themselves
Tricolor was the worst, attacking teams would easily win due to the map is easier for attacking team to protect their territory.
If anything, this tricolor has reversed the role, because the defending team actually have to attack to get territory but at the same time they don't have the signals to help them
Team Solo babyyyy (yes I picked it because white ink). That Splatfest was pretty fun though and I got to Ruler + 2
By the amount of disconnections I had (I was on team family) this was the worst splatfest I've ever played. 😭
I picked family cause I love my family and I spend most of my time with them yes I like being alone at times but even then I crave that feeling of being around family. I didn’t participate in this splatfest tho cause of school/work.
ok how did team friends AND team family get ZERO POINTS LIKE WHAT
None of my friends were in solo. Barely played solo and had mostly mirror (Team Family) bring back regional Splatfest so Japan isn’t so favored. 😢
Wow, that 100x battle was a sweep! I don't think I've ever seen you lose one of them, it's like he goes into super saiyan mode when you get one
By the way, did anybody else notice the minute or so of black screen and silence halfway through the video?
And Splatoon 3 is also the worst game in the series.

@@emilyquinn9691 Oh, you talking about yourself?
I laughed out loud at this thumbnail alone, great video
You could've made a [TH-cam] short saying "it's rigged" I'd believe you
One must imagine a Frye fan happy
(It's me, I'm Frye fan)
I chose alone only under the knowledge they were going to win... to me it was a no brainer.
I see I was t the only one getting the weirdest comps while the enemy had the best comp they could possibly have, kinda makes it feel like like the match making but one or two good players with every two or three bad ones but that might just be me
Yo dude just a friendly reminder to do a squiffer stream/video😊
I personally lost three 100x battles for team family, so feel free to blame me
0:23 I SPOTTED MY ART
It's because the translation on jp is different if it wasn't for that team family prolly would of had a better chance.
Cry harder xenophobe
The introverts win again, I’m telling you that we have telepathy
I picked Team Family.
I swear the real Judd most have taken a vacation because there was some absolutely bogus calls in terms of which team won. I personally played in 3 games where an easy 70/30 split was called the wrong way
Though it’s good to know that the US was just playing a different Splatfest theme.
I was on team family too i don't like being alone
No exaggeration, you're absolutely correct.
YAY TEAM SOLO WON BC IM TEAM SOLO YAAAAAY
