I just bought this same serger, and I had no idea what I was doing, but following along with you made it feel like you were right here in my kitchen helping me through! I just made my first project (a simple rectangular baby blanket) but I feel super successful, all because of your comforting video!!
Thank you! Thanks to you, (course no way to know otherwise as I did not even attempt it before watching your video ;) ) I took 13 minutes to A. do a test run with it pre-threaded B. Rethread it C. a successful test run with me threading it! Thank Jesus for tweezers!
I got mine a couple weeks ago and mostly I just sit in front of it and pray. Basically memorized the manual already too. Still too scared to try sewing anything 😂 on the other hand my brother se600 has been a total workhorse for the past few months! Love that machine. I appreciate you posting the videos where things work out and where you are figuring it out. It’s nice to know it’s not just me thinking WTF?!???? 😂😱
Matt, you are a life saver. Usually I make sure to add new thread, but was in a hurry this time, and ran out of cone 3. I make table cloths for my daughter's restaurant, and have 10 more to go! I can now re-thread. Thanks so much!
I love when black people do tutorials!! They’re my fave to follow cuz I feel like we’re on the same page. When you were confused, so was I. 🤣🤣 When you got it, I’m like okkkkk, I see now. 😭🙏🏽 Gained a new subbie. Thank you for this. 🖤
Thanks for the tutorial! Your videos are much more entertaining and easier to watch than other serger/sewing videos! Please continue to make some more tutorials!
I had the same machine and loved it, but my friend gave me a Babylock Ovation. I gifted my machine to my little cousin, I had to show her how to thread it more than once. She loves it and you will get a lot of use out of this little machine. It truly is a little work horse. Good sergering!
Love your persistence to concur the Beast 😂 I wasn’t as patient as you I went and invested in a Bernina and it’s a lot easier to thread and has a stitch regulator which helps with speed control, almost as easy as my sewing machine. The white cones goes on the thread holder to secure your cones of thread, also make sure to raise the telescoping pole if not you will have more troubles. If you truly love sewing then Bernina machines are the way to go!
Just bought this machine today...haven't yet tried to thread...but I love you already. I say "geez louise" all the time, and my middle name is Louise 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Someone probably told you, but you place the spool holders (cone-shaped) on the post all the way down to the bottom. When you put the cone of thread, it slios snuggly over spool holders.
My mom and I really wanted to serger. Thank you for the informative video. I didn’t realize they were that complicated to thread. I may just use a single stitch and then reverse the fabric and sew a design on the correct side instead of using a server. If that makes sense.
I wanted a serger but because of your video I purchased one. Need to learn what to use it on now. I think you will get use to it once you do it so many times it will come natural. I really like mine. I have the 1034DX
I have the other one: 1034d. It is a great machine. I use it often for all kinds of stitches and purposes. I almost purchased a second one just in case they take it off the market! I also have the Babylock Triumph, which was $6,500 when it first came out. That said, I grab the Brother first for MOST of my work. I use the the Triumph for the coverstitch or swimwear or other finicky fabrics. It is a dream on steroids! That said, if you use Maxi-lock thread, you will have much less fuzz that can cause errors. It also produces better stitch quality. Oh the Babylock is also ALL auto threaded (all needles and all loopers) - a true godsend.
Came across three serger videos, but no more? You give up? I hope not. I think that one piece that you moved is what is called the finger? I don't have my serger yet until a couple days. But I am sure other videos show that you can remove the finger and latch it in place on that cover you drop down to get to the different steps. Anyhow, l now have to go find more serger videos to watch so I can (hopefully) be ready when my serger arrives. By the way, that chain of threads you leave should probably be longer so your threads won't be sucked down back into the machine. One of the first tips I remember learning about sergers is don't try to save thread by making a short chain at the end of serging. Thanks for sharing.bi hope there will be more videos soon.
Dude, i haven't had a fastbreak in years! I just purchased 1 of these the other day at Walmart for $200. In case you decide to keep this machine don't forget to keep the receipt so you can register your machine on Brother.com. I began my sewing hobby last year and I will say that I was way more intimidated unboxing & using my sewing machine than I was unboxing my serger. I had trouble figuring out how to thread it but thankfully I found a tutorial. Once you figure out how to do it it's sort of easy....just alot of steps & of course you have to thread the needles by hand....although I wonder if you can use one of those handheld needle threaders you use for sewing machines.
Wow, that is complicated. Is it necessary to use four colors everytime? Can you only use two but place the thread in the correct location so you have one color on the top and one on the bottom? Thank you.
Hey Mr. NeverDenyMe, I recently purchased a Melco EMT16X. I'm wondering if you are considering purchasing a commercial embroidery machine and which one you are looking at? OR are you cool which the machine you have right now and are sticking with that?
Alright i am here to help you with one problem those plastic cones that you stuck on and took off saying that they were for smaller spools was incorrect they are for the cone spools you are using just set them on the spool holders and set cones on them. dont push them down before you put the threaded spools on they wont grip the spools very good. and for the machine i understand it might be diffulcult for some people but try threading a mutli color industrial loom or a pro 20 color emriodering machine. this like anything eles wiill become second nature once you learn how to set it up... any good video and man those fast breaks are a killer in productivity. lol
Hello, I would like to buy one of these amazing machines, but I'm in Germany and there aren't any of these machines that you have here. how can i buy one please help me 🙏🙏
Hi! I want to start selling my digital embroideries files on Etsy, do you have any tips or suggestions? I know how to design, digitize and all that but I just do it for me. I don’t know what type of files I should upload or what sizes I should offer. Or how much should I be pricing my designs. Like I said I’ve been digitizing for my own use and I have a multineedle industrial machine, I don’t know if the designs I’m making will work the same for someone who’s using a single needle, plz help me 🥲🥲🥲
I also saw another video that mentioned serger sewing needle threaders. So if the eye is too difficult to see or get the thread through, hope is out there!
Thanks for your videos bro they’re great. I have a request if possible can you show how to make chenille patches on a brothers we 625 and the foots needed
2nd serger.. I've had this model for about 3 months and try not to have to rethread it. I've been sitting here for about 2 hours and still hitting a brick wall. It really shouldn't be this hard. 😕
I wanted you to finish the song you began to sing after taking a bit from that candy bar 😆😂.
🤣🤣🤣 taste so good I had to hit a tune lols

I'm watching this in 2022 and you are very entertaining. I got quite a few laughs and some learning. Thanks!

I have the same machine, and EVERY time I need to rethread it, I need to watch a video LOL, good job, I look forward to seeing what you do with it!
Me too.. I hate it 😒

😂😂😂 18:28 and on!!! My EXACT FEELINGS when I was trying to learn how to thread this dang thang‼️
🤣🤣🤣
It was so comfortable me. Going thru step and your patience was so grateful. Bless you. Look forward to your tutorials.

oops...I probably shouldn't have my full name on here, but Oh Well...God protects me.

Great video. So much fun and great information.

I really enjoyed the tutorials. It was so informative for me. Thank you so much.
It is the stitch finger , it enables it make the stitch , you can take it out for rolled hems
So to stop the spools moving about you need to put the cups on the threader bar and put the spools on top , it will help keep them still

No I think it’s a minimum of 3 that you have to use
I appreciate your videos

Dude you are the man. I love Dill Pickle Chips and the candy bar you are eating. ASE' I eat them a lot.
You are hilarious 😂

Thanks for this information
Thank you!
Have you tried a banana peanut butter smoothie?? It’s the bomb… add chocolate if you’d like!
There is an automatic threading serger! It costs about $3200+ :’’). The one i was shown first was $4200. Yikes.

Is your website down? I wanted to submit a form request but it wouldn’t let me.
I also saw another video that mentioned serger sewing needle threaders. So if the eye is too difficult to see or get the thread through, hope is out there!
Can you tell me which numbers your threads count on
Some people don’t have all this time 2 videos & I still don’t know
Thanks for your videos bro they’re great. I have a request if possible can you show how to make chenille patches on a brothers we 625 and the foots needed
Correction: se 625
If you tie on your threads when changing colors If you make your knots real small the thread will sew through.
2nd serger.. I've had this model for about 3 months and try not to have to rethread it. I've been sitting here for about 2 hours and still hitting a brick wall. It really shouldn't be this hard. 😕
Which serger is the easiest one to thread?
The two I've reviewed thread the same. One is from left to right, the other is right to left. Same process though. I'm not sure about other machines.
Bro do the 3 hammer 1 man reaction again
Hello
No all sergers are not manuel the high end ones have auto threaded we're talking about $5000 sergers.
I’m sorry, but you need to turn off your auto focus on your camera, other than that, thank you for the video.
