Man you deserve more than just being a TH-cam guy who does train videos. Your knowledge of the science and history of trains should get you a museum job somewhere.
My definition for photo Charter is a way to recreate the past in order to photograph it in the present and I can also see a lot of the techniques and lighting are reminiscent to what O Winston Link would normally use when he photographed trains
Can I ask why you put the free loader part in the video because it's getting pretty annoying of Strasburg railroad free loader thing. And yes I was there at the red caboose hotel
More often than not, it's just buying tickets, which are available through the links in the description. That said though, there are some that are operated thru invitation only, and promoted only on a need-to-know basis.
I've seen people using cameras on their smartphones and tablets. This video isn't so much about advancing your skillset, but rather showcasing the good moments of these events that's available for anyone.

Those Virginia and Truckee shots were absolutely gold.
VA may not have the nices of engine but when we do god damn we take a fuck ton of photos of them

I’ve seen a photo charter in Niles Canyon! It was fun and didn’t catch much but it was still good.
This was definitely a fun charter, can't wait to go to more!

the one problem is that you can always hear the clicking of the cameras in the videos.
It's especially hard to dodge in closely packed photo lines, but some spots in some events allow plenty of space to spread out.
