Something they need to change when building distribution centers is to add windows, skylights to make the place brighter with natural light, add fake plants, 1 hrs brake, etc. Working in a dark and enclosed area is depressing, nobody likes to work in a box but rather a filling of outdoors environments.
I agree, i'm working at Skechers here in Belgium and this is almost the same distribution center. No windows no plants nothing. I'm pretty sure there is a reason though. i worked in a few warehouses other than skechers and they all have the same "problem".
@@chewba2008 , I think the reason is to protect the inventory from outside elements such as sunlight, heat, moisture, etc... not to mention intruder break-ins etc...
I heard skechers distribution centers are full of favoritism, especially when it comes to women. The men do all the back breaking work while the women don't have to do jack shit.
That's typical in a western nation. Just look at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on most dangerous jobs. All male dominated, which over 90 percent of all on the job deaths are all male. Men typically do the most dangerous and physically demanding jobs.
This is in Moreno Valley/Rancho Belago and was designed and built by Highland Fairview! A local Development Firm! Great Job!
They have a design team?
I'm a graphic artist I have some design ideas not for the tennis shoes
And everything done locally that's pretty cool!
Billions of sales since ever before, that's my shoes, but now I don't buy,
Love my 4 pair of Sketchers!
This isnt a video to show how the distribution centre works, it's an advertisement for Wynright.
OK, may be, but it's very interesting to look at.

MOISES F IZURIETA if it's robotic, why do you need natural lights?

It’s all about security, making it difficult to break in or break out with merchandise.
